| Azrael continued down the dark dark hallway, not seeming to care who had followed him, wishing to seek his company in this hunt. He wasn't here to make friends or new acquatinces; he was simply here to get a job down. He didn't like being here in this ancient castle with a devil prince breathing down his neck as he searched for the daughter of Dante as much as the next hunter.
His movements were quick and graceful, his heavy black boots and legs never failing to keep extremely silent as he advanced onwards, deeper and deeper into the hallway that seemed to never end. Already, he could feel the enemy in front of him, ready to strike when necessary. The torches gave off some light but it was hardly sufficient in seeing what lay before him. Yet, he didn't need the light to know what to expect. Without any apparent reason or cause, Azrael suddenly unsheathed both his long swords with such quickness, the sheer sound of the metal ringing in the hallway was a perfect and crisp ring. The shadows and torches danced as they revealed Azrael's shadow moving rather quickly with his blades as if he were performing a sword dance. The ring of metal became louder as the sounds of 'something' collapsed onto the ground over and over again. Azrael had not muttered a single word. Finally, the sword dance stopped and Azrael resheathed his swords, the sound of metal ringing throughout the hallway once more before it grew very silent. "Ah, here it is." As if finally finding what he was looking for, Azrael finally spoke. He was now too deep into the hallway to be given off by the torches, but soon that would not be necessary. A loud crashing sound rung through the hallway as light at the end of the tunnel came rushing in. Apparently, Azrael had found the door that led to the courtyard. Without even bothering to glance back, he took a step through the threshold. "Come, we must not delay." Then, without waiting another second, he continued on. Now that the light filled the once dark hallway, it was apparent what had happened during Azrael's sword dance for there on the ground laid the corpses of five massive marionette beings, mutilated and decapitated, oozing blood out of their heads. Before they could even utter a single war cry, they had been struck down by the hunter's incredible sword skills. |

| Azrael silently glanced at Xeios for a second, as if trying to read his mind and his motives, his dark brown eyes piercing into the eyes of the formidable hunter. He then returned his gaze onto the unusual maze that stood before him, unsure of what to expect. He was already getting a horrible feeling from an aura that seemed to escape from the great labryinth.
"No...I rather not test my limits as well as your limits in something we have no idea about. I especially do not with to test the limits of the girl. We will go around." Azrael turned to his right. He took one last glance at the great labryinth and shook his head before advancing forth. There before him was another pathway, created by cliffs and large boulders. It looked to be an old haunted passage that led to some sort of hidden location which was perfectly camouflaged by the massive cliffs on the horizon. The courtyard was much bigger than he expected. His steps were graceful yet careful as if expecting anything he stepped on, any slab of rock, any piece of dirt to be some kind of trap. Then, just before he could enter the passageway, he froze. Without warning, he drew both long swords, yet he did not turn around. He simply waited as if trying to hear was what coming. It was impossible to tell as of yet, but what could be known was that something was indeed approaching the three hunters. "....quiet....slowly draw your weapons..." |

Azrael remained in his stance, frozen like a statue in an attempt to pick up any stray sound waves into his ears. There was no doubt about it now...something was definitely coming...something...enormous. Whatever it was, it wasn't something to be toyed with. A single bead of sweat triggled down across the side of his face as he slowly began to measure up the size of the being just by listening to the kind of sound it made. It sounded like...a bird...No, not just one bird but many birds at the same time. Yet he knew there was only one being approaching them... "Oh...shit..." He instantaneously spun around and looked up to see a truly gigantic bird like being shooting through the air with two great pairs of wings. It resembled a massive hawk with four wings, two menacing claws, and a severely deformed head which seemed to be a combination of 4 bird heads into one...The Griffin...It's quadra-beak opened up wide, unleashing a great screech into the air before suddenly diving down towards them. As it did so, it's eyes glowed a bright red as three massive red orbs formed next to the hunters. "Quickly! Get inside! This is too much for us to handle in this arena!" The passageway, or rather the tunnel, was narrow enough for the hunters to quickly enter but not wide enough for the Griffin to get through. It would be there only salvation for the time being from this great monstrosity from Hell. |

| I think we should set up a default review format which all reviewers should follow. I mean, it just seems kind of weird how each review is reviewed differently in a different structure on the main site. Perhaps it'll look a tad bit more 'professional' if we were to follow a system of sorts. | |||

| It's not like it'd kill us if we were the first one to implement a format.
I simply suggested this because everyone has a certain style. The problem with that is that the styles can be and sometimes are too different. Certain people will get into a whole lot of detail and ever aspect of the game while others will become extraordinarily vague. For example, you cover every aspect of a game in a review. Shaddow does so too but relies heavily on screenshots. Sajin hardly bothers with sound and stuff like that. Just the parts he thinks is most important. And others split their reviews into different subcategories...subcategories that may not be the same as say, your reviews. One review will have something that another doesn't. One review will cover more than another. And so on and so forth. In the end, it just becomes really confusing and annoying where as if we were to implement a set format, no review would be lacking when compared to another because the reviewer couldn't be bothered to include this and that. | Well, when I said format, i really meant what you just said. I feel that as long as each review covers certain categories/sub categories, then there should be no problem. I agree that making everything the same would be very boring and stupid. That wasn't what I was trying to get at.
I believe you basically listed all the important categories. If Xeo agrees to this, then we could probably make each area required in a review. |

I figured this out last night lying in my bed... Using Kirby, grab somebody and press backwards... you kill yourself too, but isn't that a 1 hit KO? Also with Donkey Kong grabbing them and running off...
