Well ever since Paavo started that little Gradius thread at CVR, I have been hooked... and damn Gradius 3 is a bitch... but a very good bitch at that, right now my rom collection is what I like to call lacking, but that will only last till I get my high speed and new computer with two 250 gig drives.. (yes I'm greedy)... then I'll start fill my drives with roms, and get a decent controller too. Until then, I'm bound to be playing Gradius III on SNES, trying to get by the little galapagos heads without getting mauled.

just downloaded Thunder Force III and I must say it's pretty damn sweet... up there with Gradius definately... Thunder Force II kinda blows tho...

Yeah, the only place around here that sells classic games is our pawn shop... $5 a pop for NES no matter the game, and $8 for SNES and Genesis no matter the game, that's where I bought both Mario RPG and All Stars + World from, then I sold them on a garage sale. . Once I get a top loading NES, I'll start more on my NES collection, and I'm planning on buying or trading in some games to get some SNES games tomorrow... I'm thinking maybe Street Fighter II Turbo, and whatever else I can find that they have, I think I saw some other when I went in there the other day... for Genesis I'm gonna buy one off ebay along with a Sega CD and start my collection once I get that...

FFII is a great game, and I wouldn't say it's overated one bit Xeo (I'm guessing you meant underated). I beat it finally through some stategic weapon/shield placement... I probably was properly leveled up for the fight... but I managed to make my way through. And the FF1 portion of Dawn of Souls is way too easy. I managed to beat that in no time at all... and I had a hell of a time making it through the original.

X is my favorite of the series, however. The X and Classic series of course. The X games were great. It kinda went downhill a bit with X5, but I'll still play X5 (and beat it) every now and then. It IS an X game afterall.

In my opinion, out of the sidescrolling megaman games, the Zero series is probably the hardest. And that can be a breeze once you get used to it all.


Megaman games are easy if your good at recognizing patterns... if your pattern recognizing skills suck, you will get owned by Megaman.

I think what lots of people consider to be love, is not really love. More lust then love. I don't know exactly, it's fairly difficult to explain.

That said, I still think that you can love someone without actually knowing them one hundred percent.

Honestly, if the Gamecube had half the third-party support the PS2 had, it would be right up there with the PS2. I can honestly say the Gamecube's graphics exceed that of the PS2, so I don't see how you could say that it is crap.

Not to seem like a complete and utter jackass... but I have something quite frank to say.

Your life is what you make of it. If you think it sucks then it will suck and continue to suck. If you think it's decent, it will probably end up being decent. If you think your life is the shit, then god dammit it will be the shit.

Seriously, I used to think the same thing everyday. God my life sucks, I don't want to wake up, I'll just sit here and waste my life away, and it did just that, it sucked. Then I met a certain teacher, who I'm very glad I met, and now I wake up, thinking about how much fun I'm gonna have in the coming day.
