***~~~ XEOGAMING FIRE EMBLEM ROLE PLAY ~~~*** Shanan and I have been planning, for a while now, on making a Role Play set in the style of the Fire Emblem series. This means: - Participants will have a customized character Face Sprite, like those in the GBA Fire Emblem games, made by either me or Shanan via request. (See Example 1 below) - Participants will also have a customized character Battle Sprite (also like those on the GBA), which is also made by either me or Shanan. (See Example 2 below) - Items, weapons, and classes from the Fire Emblem series will be used a lot within the RP. Somewhere, most likely in this thread, I will list a plethora of these things in order ot familiarize those participants who have not played the actual games. - The land that we will be playing in is not one of those in either Fire Emblem 1, Sacred Stones, or Path of Radiance for that matter. This is a completely new place that Shanan and I are still creating. Any ideas will be appreciated, and probably used! - It'll stick to the general Fire Emblem time period - medieval-esque times. No lazers or lightsabers or anything. - If you want to be something other than human, I believe we can get it to work. Something like a vampire will be easy - but that'd probably be just in character. If someone really NEEDS to be a werewolf or an animal, I might be able to find the right sprites. If not... well, you can't get a BATTLE sprite, a face sprite could be done... but its okay. If you have ideas for a new class, go ahead and post it. We can accomdate you in our lovely bed and breakfast inn RP. There are DEFINETLY more things to come. For now, check out these examples of sprites. 
The one on the LEFT is EXAMPLE 1 - A Face Sprite. The one on the RIGHT is EXAMPLE 2 - A Battle Sprite. Here is an example of a BATTLE MAP, which may be created for SPECIAL battles, but not every single one.

Now, onto the RP. For the matter of the map. I think that giving a general direction of it would be a good way to say where you are. Like so. *Wiglaf stood in front of the door in the center of the room* If there are multiple doors, signify which one. I MUST THANK YOU SHANAN. You worked your ass off with this. I'll cut you some slack and name some of the classes that people can be. Of course, you can make your own. But if you wanna choose from a list, here it is. ~CLASSES~ Starting Class > Promoted Class *** Special class ARCHER > SNIPER = NOMAD TROOPER KNIGHT > GENERAL = GREAT KNIGHT (Knight on horse. Better movement, same weapon range, less defense. Swords and lances.) CAVALIER (horse rider. Can use Swords and Spears, or Axes alone, or Bows alone) > PALADIN (armored horse rider, uses any combination of three different weapons, no magic) = GREAT KNIGHT (also works for this class.) PRIEST/CLERIC or MONK (monk uses no staves, just light magic) (staves) > BISHOP (staves, light magic) MAGE (nature magic) > SAGE (staves and most magic)= TROUBADOUR (Horseback Mage, can use staves.) SHAMAN (dark magic) > DRUID (dark magic and staves) THEIF > ASSASIN (kills easily) or ROGUE (steals easily) PEGASUS KNIGHT (not so strong flyer. Strong against magic, weak against bows. Uses Lances) > FALCOKNIGHT (uses swords. Faster and stronger) WYVERN RIDER (strong flyer. Weak against magic and bows) > WYVERN LORD (uses swords instead of just lances) = WYVERN KNIGHT (kills easier) TOFU (just kidding) FIGHTER (axe user. Very strong, weak defense) > WARRIOR (crazy as fuck strength, can use bows also. You get to wear a furry cape.). DANCER or BARD (uses no weapons. Aids allys) *** LORD (probably won't be this. Maybe if you convince us as to why you wanna be one). PIRATE (axe user. Good at sea) > BERSERKER (even crazier as fuck strength, awesome killing strokes, only uses axes and good at or in water). | Has anyone seen Dog the Bounty Hunter on A&E? Its about this guy who lives in Hawaii, and happens to be in the business of Bounty Hunting. Its actually mildly interesting - like cops, but with character, and less shakey cam. Usually there are strong Christian undertones, cause this guy is... really bizarre... bizarre in like, the contradictory way. But whatever, he's Dog the Bounty Hunter, and he's seriously got like, 12 kids. Its amazing, I never knew that bounty hunting paid so well that you could support a family the size of someone's apartment population.
Anyone else see it? If not, new episodes, A&E, ten o' clock, wednesday nights. |

Any body ever see Criss Angel: Mindfreak, on A&E? If not, its about a guy who goes around and does extreme magic tricks, like... suspend himself by fish hooks, or light himself on fire. Its pretty much like all those specials you see on Fox every once in a while and you'd get excited about when you were a kid... except now its got this guy who screams really bizarre things. He's a little too serious about himself. Anyone see it? Its on A&E, around the same time as Dog The Bounty Hunter. |

This is the LEGENDARY show on Food Channel about chefs - not any ordinary chefs, IRON CHEFS. They get one surprise food that they have to work with, and there is the Iron Chef, and the challenger who has to best him at the culinary arts. I should probably ask who HASN'T seen this. I might as well put my guy's stuff up here then: Name: Wiglaf (get it? Beowulf and Wiglaf... cause Wiglaf is from the book Beowulf... Get it... huh? Isn't that... oh fuck it...) Class: Theif Weapon Class: will start at D. Can hold a PRF weapon (professional... I think?) Starting Weapons: Iron Sword (D), Wiggy Knife (PRF) (knife WITH a lockpick built onto the end. Can only be used by Wiglaf... yay! Special weapon!) Class upgrade choice: Rogue Gender: Male Fighting style: Knife Dancing. See sprite. I suppose this could be a skill. Maybe like, attacks once with normal power, and then there is another attack (if lucky) that can attack at half power, or something. Am I giving myself too much lieniency? It's teh mine spritez! 
Sprite and face done by moi. Props to Shanan for the background... I can do em too though, don't worry! Oh, as for multiple weapons. You can pretty much only use them if you're either: A) a CAVALIER (uses lances and swords) or B) a Promoted Unit If your question was if you can weild multiple weapon level classes, the answer is Yes, so long as they are not above the class you have. People should probably not start off with such high levels. Starting off at D is good. You will have to start off at E if you can use a new weapon when promoted. Remember, you gotta work for some of the stuff. You don't wanna start off with the OMGULTIMATEKILLEROUS Sword, or else things will be too easy. It makes it interesting if you're weak at first, and slowly gain power. That works well with a lot of the characters personality too. Don't get me wrong - you could start out having badass ultimate weapons and stats, and that could be your character. But I'm saying, it makes a lot more sense to be weak at first and fight your way into being strong. Thats what me and Beo are doing at least. Also, if you're an altogether custom class, that should affect how you're status is and what weapons you can weild. Yep... |

| Read it. I challenge your patience. I challenge you to find Flaws (which will probably be VERY VERY easy). I challenge you to get through the whole thing, and understand where I left off.
In the beginning, all was blue, and there stood Everyone. Everyone was but one, and it shone bright. It took the form of Everyone, because it was the only one and one was all that stood in blue. And Everyone fell from it's blue void and into the same realm. Everywhere came from Nowhere, and thus Somewhere was born. But this place it fell into, it was Somewhere, and it was Everywhere, because it consisted of Nowhere and Somewhere. Thus Everywhere was born. Everyone took a step into Everywhere, and thus Movement was made. Everyone defined its surroundings as Blue, and itself as Gold, and thus Color was defined. Everyone took the shape of Man, and thus the Proper Anatomy was created. In its Proper Anatomical, Golden Self, it strode in a downwards motion, and forward, thus creating Direction. Everyone felt it was only right for there to be an end to any Direction, so downwards more did Everyone go, and it created the Bottom. The Bottom was where Everyone actually stood for the first time, and so Solidity came to Everywhere. Everyone then walked in everywhich direction, and realized that Everywhere went on Forever Onward, and that Limit should be established. Thus, Everyone decided that Everywhere was to be round. But feeling that there could be no possible Here without Forever Onward, Everyone declared that the blue above its Proper Anatomical head was to go Forever Onward, and thus Everyone came upon the conclusion that it lived within a confined void, and gave the name of this confined void Place. Standing firm on the flat surface, Everyone focused and out of its Proper Anatomical head came long locks of what would be called Hair. Thus, Variety was created. Everyone felt that its flat, round world would, too, need this Variety, and so Everyone took the land and caused it to wrinkle. The Bottom of this Place was now uneven and random, so Imperfection was made, where Everyone took on the form of Perfection. And because there was no Bottom without Top, Everyone stood atop the tallest wrinkle, and defined Height, and that this was the top, and that what it stood upon was to be called Land. The blue above was to be called Sky, and soon realized that there were but two Colors of the spectrum. Everyone threw a piece of itself (and in the mean time creating what is known as Broken and Complete) into the Sky and that became the Sun. The Sun gave off Light, and all that the Sun did not touch became Darkness. These places were given special names: Caves, Shadows. Everyone soon realized that the Sun had been thrown Far (creating Distance), and it could feel this part of itself so far away, but Everything that was close to Everyone was Near. This Feeling was called Heat, and everywhere that Everyone was not was Cold. Because the Sun touched nigh Everything (Everything being anything other than Everyone but partially the same as Everywhere), there was No Place and Everywhere that it touched, and because Everywhere is Every Space, this, in a way, included No Place. Everyone declared that Everywhere that was unseen to the Proper Anatomical Eye was No Place, but still existed, and came to be Some Place once seen. Everyone had thought back unto the Creations it had made, and thus Memory was created, as was Thought, as Everyone began to think about Thought, and the paradox that Thinking about Thought had been. This caused Everyone to grow Weary, and thus another feeling had occured - Tiredness. Without Tiredness, there would be no Energeticness, and thus Everyone created Energy. Using the new idea of Energy, Everywhere went back to creating the Physical Place Everywhere and therein came another Realm - Imagination and Thought, as opposed to Physical Action. Using this new Imagination, Everyone Thought of new Ideas and Looked upon its Land. There was Land, and there was Sky, and Land was Solid, Sky was Forever, but there must be an in between. Everyone flooded portions of the Land with a New Substance, one that was not Solid but did not have the unlimitedness of Forever. Thus Liquid was formed, and Everyone swam in the new Area which was created, as there were Two Places - Land, and Sea. Two gave way to the thought of Counting, and Everyone counted the drops of Liquid that made up the Sea, and declared that only it shall know the number, and that if only it existed, than what was not existing? Out of two new Feelings - Curiosity and Loneliness, Everyone created the first Being. It was born on Land, and took the form of Proper Anatomy. Everyone took this new Proper Anatomy and disfigured the legs so that there were Four, and the spine that ran along its back was bent to support this. The first Creature, as Everyone called it, had been the first Comparative Imperfectness. Everyone wanted to have this Creature Aid it in the Process that was Creation, thus Everyone gave the first form of Generosity unto this Creature and blessed it with Intelligence. Everyone needed a way to Order this Creature to Work, so Communication was created. The Creatures first Words were that Everyone was not to be Everyone anymore, and that it is to be properly called One, and the both of them called Everyone. Thus there was Creature and One, both of them were Everyone. To prove the fact that Every Creature was Everyone, the Creature created a Being of its own, and placed it within the Sea. This reinforced the fact that Every Being was Everyone, One was the Creator, and that Everyone needed a Name. The First Creature was dubbed by One as Pony. The Second Creature was dubbed Whale, and that also that its Area (the Sea) was to be its Home, or place where it will reside. This gave birth to Archaic Nature. Some Creatures lived in one Area, and some lived in another. In humor to Variety, the Pony moved among the Land, breathing Life into other creatures that would not move from their Area, reinforcing Archaic Nature, and thus Plants were created. These were seperate from the Moving Creatures, and so the Moving Creatures came to be known as Animals. THAT IS ALL I COULD WRITE FOR NOW. Oh yeah... the uh, the thread. Yeah. If most people could wait at least one chapter before they jump in, it would be much appreciated. And would probably make more sense with the story line. We'll post when we're done, don't worry, it won't be TOO long from now. I think I will make it... but what do we call it? XEOFERP? Lets decide on a name. Should it just be Fire Emblem... or Fire Emblem: *insert other title here*? Or Xeo Fire Emblem? Or Xeo Emblem? or just Fire Emblem RP? Man. I'm pumped for this. | Yeah, thats probably better that you're starting off with a C rank weapon. You can definetly get it up to an B before you promote, and then onto A shortly after. Later on you can definetly get an S rank, but that'd have to be late. But not TOO late, you know? Just make it so it makes sense, and I'm fine with it. And, because you have a custom Class, you can choose what type of weapon you want to be able to use after your promotion. I'd say either Lances or Light Magic or Staves, makes sense for an angel, but the choice is completely yours. Man. AND your guy can fly. Thats gonna make one sweet ass unit. ALSO! If you DON'T choose any more weapons, your character will have a 30% Critical Hit boost. Thus, the likely hood of them killing in enemy in one shot is higher. Which is by a lot... 30, thats worth not having another weapon. But then again, they are pretty much equal. Once again, the choice is yours (personally, I chose the 30% hit rate thing, but thats just me)
That name, Xeofe. It works for me. "Xeofe Saga". That fits too, because there might just be another one after this (I know how my character is going to end up - but you'll have to wait till the end!). I dunno how to pronouce it. "Zay-off" is how I would say it, instead of "Zee-ohf". BUT... despite that, Shanan and I have agreed on the name "Xeo Emblem" for the RP. That's that! Thanks for the contribution anyway. We might have a "second generation" of characters. Such as our characters sons, daughters, other relatives, or apprentices. But that really is nothing you need to worry about now, just a thing to look forward to in future RPs, if this thing does good. EDIT: Actually, Shanan said he would make the thread. | I played D and D once. I was in fourth grade. I hated it. I don't know why! I just couldn't stand it then, and still can't.
But... I chose Gnomes, because Gnomes are just amazing. I love them, I love their hats, I love their ways. Plus, David the Gnome was the best kids show ever. |
