| *Saunters up to Venom and smiles, bringing the right corner of her mouth up into a half-grin. Evobalthene tilts her head back, her long, wavy red hair falling back over her shoulders and down her back to reveal a sleeveless black and red dress. She chuckles once, then smiles an erie grin that reveals her long, glistening canine teeth. She licks her lips then smiles an innocent smile, and turns to walk out of the tread. Once to the exit, she turns and waves a hand. In a puff of mist, a tome, a book of metal and covered in emerald gems appears on the table before Venom.*
"My gift... to you...." *she speaks in a soft whisper, then turns and disappears* (welcome to XGF. Feel free to PM anyone if you have any questions. I have no life outside of work, so I'm going to be around a lot after Mother's Day. Until then, I will be working lots of overtime, so you might not see me as much. Regardless, any of the mods/admis can help you with any questions you may have). |

A lot of newer country is seriously getting on my nerves though. I know a LOT of people who do like Mister Mom, but I just can't stand it. O.o It seems too... whiney... and... I think it rhymes too much. Or soemthing. :/ |

| I've heard a lot of good stuff about Cowboy BeeBop, so that might be the one I go for first, but I've heard a lot of good stuff about the other ones mentioned too. (some of them I've never heard of though! :/ )

| Ok, I'm 18, and I don't have any established credit. My Fiance also doesn't have any established credit. We're trying to move out to get an apartment, but a lot of places require a qredit history.
I've heard, through my mum, a good way to get credit is to go to a department store like JcPenney's or Mervyn's and get a store card. Have any of you had experience with this? Anyone know a good way to build credit? Any ideas would be great! EDIT : JUST now noticed my birthday thread, from 3/2. Just wanted to thank everyone for the good birthday wishes. | *cautiously, Evobalthene entered the area. Gripping her FlameGem Broadsword at her side, she slowly approached Desroth. Her long wavy red hair trailed behind her, carried lightly in the wind. She stopped but 15 feet away from Desroth, looking at him with her enchanting emerald eyes. She reached a slim hand up and touched the Fire Pendant at her neck, and she was devoured by flames, sheilded from Desroth by the firey wall. A moment later, and the flames disappeared to reveal Evo in her battle garb, something no one had ever seen before. Her clothing was like that of a ninja, black and light weight. But uner it was a light metal chest plate that fit her form perfectly. The outfit was skin tight, revealing her every curve. At her side still rested her Broadsword, still in it's sheath. but on her back, there were dual Katanas.
All at once, the gems in the hilts of her swords began to glow, as did the emblem around her neck. THe dual Katanas cast an eerie blue light, while the fire emblem on Evobalthene's neck and in the hilt of her Broadsword glowed a firece red. At that moment, Evobalthene cursed herself for not collecting the gems of the other elements, but hoped that what she had would be enough. She stood tall looking at Desroth's feet with a steely expression, and as she raised her head to meet his gaze, she looked more like an assassin than a vampire.* "Desroth... I ask that you do not kill, and I shall do the same. When and if the time of defeat comes for me, I will plead mercy. If you do no obey, I will not hesitate to cheat to spare my life. If I must resort to that, however, I will acknowlege that you are the rightful winner." *Evobalthene closed her eyes for a brief minute, then looked back at her opponant.* "Unless you have any more terms, You may make the first move." |

| *Slightly stunned at the move, Evo brought her self into a ball and hit the ground, rolling backwards out of the danger of the main sword. In safety's grasp for but amoment, Evo swung her blade in both hands to better control the power of her sword. The swing knocked one of the other blades off course, preventing it from plunging it into Evo's throat. It hit the gound with a soft thud. She did a roundhouse kick, sending the second one directly back to her opponant's left eye. She doubted his own weapon could hurt him, but in battle, such things did not matter to her. Thinking she had enough time, Evo spread her bat-like wings and rose with the wind into the wind. Forgetting briefly about the third sword, it slasked its way through the bottom edge of her left wing. Muttering a curse, Evo hoovered in the air, watching as the blade continued its course through the air. The slice in her wing dripped blood the color of night*
"That hurt." *Evo turned to Desroth, a smile fixed on her lush lips.* "Ok, darling. I'm quite attached to the necklace, see it was my mother's. But this ring here on my wedding finger does the same thing, and I think it's more your style. What will you give me when I win?" *folding ehr wings back again, Evo dropped lightly to the ground, and single-handedly blocked off Desroth's oncoming attack of his main sword* "See, sweetheart, a vampire's strength... is nothing to be reckoned as weak. If you see it as unfair, I will no longer use my wings. Your call" *Seemingly gliding to her right, Evobalthene touched the amulet at her neck. The Fire Emblem glowed a harsh blood red, then a wave of what seemed like nothing came out of the emblem, making Evo stumble a few feet backwards. She managed to keep her footing and stood smiling.* "I suggest you move. And QUICK." *The grass in front of Evo suddenly became parched, the leaves that had fallen ftom the nearby trees turned crisp, then crubled into ash. The line of destruction rapidly moved towards Desroth. Looking at it, he could see it was approximatly 50 wide, and coming directly toward him. | *Evobalhene straightened herself and looked at Desroth with her head tilted to the side. The wall * kept rapidly approaching Desroth. Seeing him completely clueless, Evo quickly waved her hand, and just as the ground scorched no more than a foot from where Desroth stood, the attack stopped. Sighing and brushing a piece of stray hair out of her face, Evo placed her sword back in its sheath and looked at Desroth curiously.*
"It was air. 1,650 degrees of firey hot air. Summoned from hell itself. Normally, your attack would have worked on any other all of force, but you can't really cut air, now can you? If it would have hit you, it would have drained you off all your life liquids, scorching you and parching your body. You would have been nothing but ash. "And... since I don't want death, and you were so clueless, I called it off, as you can see. I'm not done playing with you yet." *Leaning forward, Evobalthene looked at the sword, a small smile forming on her lips.* "How did you know I'm a collector of swords? It's a fine sword. Shame about your friend, I wonder if he became a feast of mine..." *Evo trailed off, looking curiously at Desroth. She shakes her head and readies herself for another attack* "Your move." |

| Yes. my mum could never ground me, so instead, she would try to take away the computer. First she tried taking away the mouse, and I would just use the keyboard (desperate times call for desperate measures).
Then when she figured out I could use the computer without the mouse the next day, she just took the keyboard. So I got on AIM and copied and pasted EVERY SINGLE LETTER with my mouse to make a whole sentance to tell people to call me. Once she found that out, she took the mouse and the phone. That's when I pulled out the extra phone from my closet. AND that... ladies and gentlemen... is when my mother realized that she could not ground me. |

| Oooh... so it's more of like a party than a ceremony. I mean it is, but there's still some fun in it. I'd like to jump over a broom, lol, but I'm too... I dunno, reserved for that. I would, just not at my wedding.
