I'm liking it. Very glad that the joke forum is back.  I don't think I posted in it a lot before, but I did read the posts in it quite often and some of the jokes brightened up the day a little. |

| Not really a weekend thing, but I had three days off this week. I have off on Tuesdays anyways, and I spent it with my dad and a lawyer. :p Happy occasion though. This summer I'm getting sibling's rights over my baby sisters so I can see them again. Then I just hung out with my dad after the lawer left...and...**gasps** I actually had fun with him.
Yesterday the school was closed for some kind of school holiday thingie. I saw "Ghost Rider" **looks over at NUCKLEARKNIGHT** Wasn't it jawsome?!! I don't really read comics, so I don't have anything to compare those movies to, which I guess is a blessing, since it's so damned expensive to see movies. Wouldn't wanna waste it on something I didn't like.
As for today, I just randomly took off from school.
And childcare and Japanses...**huggles Kyoku** fun, eh? (Well, actually I like learning Japanese, and I like babysitting, even though I bitch about it occasionally.** |

| Teehee. I giggled at that one. It was pretty cute. Poodles really are pretty smart dogs though. My pop-pop had a poodle when I was little and some of the stuff she did. I heard some stories...she did the smartest things to keep me out of trouble when I was a baby. |

| Holly took one last glance out the window before turning back to the conversation. I could have sworn something moved... she thought to herself as she reluctantly turned around. She didn't move from her place, she wanted to keep look out by the window for a little longer...something wasn't sitting right with her.
"Listen here." She says, placing her hands on her hips. "We already know. It wasn't me. He wants the shard and I just happen to be in posession of it." She adds with a shrug. "He's arrogant. We need to play on that somehow. He could have very easily killed me yesterday and got the shard that way...or he could have snatched it from me just before he fought Henry. But he didn't. Why? Because he thinks he is going to win...no, in his mind, he knows that he is going to win." She added the extra emphasis on the word "knows" as she surveyed the men sitting around the table. "That's his weakness. We just need to make sure he keeps that mindset, no matter what kind of plan we have. He toys with us. That's about all he has done up until this point." She made a slight grimace, feeling stupid for actually trusting and defending him before turning back to face the window. |

Anyway...I guess they shouldn't ask anything of me, but...I can't help but be glad. This weekend has helped to soothe the nerves a bit and put things into perspective. I would have gotten myself involved anyway, so they just made it easier for me to do that, is all. This baby is coming into the world with two young parents who are scared and have no clue what the hell to do. That automatically establishes a commonality bewteen me and the baby. Not to mention this is all family, and if something happens to this baby, if this baby can't grow up having all he/she deserves, then I would end up feeling somewhat responsible. I know I'm not the one having the baby, but still...I have a lot of good things and that's because people like my aunt and older sisters stepped in to help take care of me. Kinda one of them "pay it forward" kinda deals I guess? I talked with the father...he's at least got a little bit going for him, so things aren't going to be AS messy as they were for me and my sister with the young useless parent thing. I don't really know what's going to happen. I'm so angry at her for not telling us...but I found out that the other abortions she had, her mother made her get them...and she honestly thought she was 5 months pregnant. She didn't want to do that again, and she was getting her period still the first few months of the pregnancy, so I don't blame her for not knowing herself at first. But still...I dunno...I see her in a whole different light though. |

| Bria watched as everything unfolded. She swallowed a few times, trying to get a hold of herself, but the shock of the situation didn't make it easy. She took a few deep breaths as Vincent zipped past her. Sharply, she turned to Alarath. "Avendia already struck a wound." She says, sounding out of breath, even though she hadn't done anything yet. "I know I am no match, and you have made it easy for me to assume that you aren't...but we've still got to help." She turns to face Gigante and pointed to the wound in the shoulder. She then tilted her head back so that Alarath could hear her. "We should aim for the hole...I'll try to make it bigger and you just try hurting him with your fire, please."
With that she dashed to the side and toward Gigante. She kept to the side so as not to get in the way of those that knew what they were doing, and waited to see if he would fall so that she could aim properly, all the while keeping water just below the palm of her hand. |

Holly screamed when she heard the explosion and then immediately covered her mouth with her hands. The moment Eric was launched back into the living room from the explosion, she ran over and dropped to her knees at his side. She was going to check how hurt he was when Jeremy too was shot.

She gasped and her hands flew to her mouth once again. Her shard wasn't activating itself. Maybe they really won't hurt us? she thought to herself as her thoughts went back to earlier that day. The people were so hostile...but it was because they were so scared...like we would hurt them... Holly took a deep breath and held it for a moment. With her shard not activating, she decided to take the leap of faith. "Sir..." She says softly, looking up at the man, but not moving from her spot. "We aren't going to hurt anyone..."

My weekend was bleh. Spent it with my dad's side of the family, and did nothing but fuss over my sister all weekend. It turned out to be okay though, I got to spend time with my pop-pop and we teased my little cousin about me being his "favorite" XD

I remember this thing being around, but I never tried it. Isn't it the same thing as talking on AIM or any other messenger though? Bria turned and nodded. She found Alarath's idea to be ingenious and decided to hold off a little bit with the water. She lifted it so that it now touched her hand and she could feel just how cold it was. A shiver ran right down her spine the moment it made contact with her skin. She needed to wait for Gigante's reaction before shooting the cold water to his face. The hotter his face got, the more the sudden cold from the water would hurt. She never had any real experience in something like this and cringed, hoping that if she could make sense of the elements, she and Alarath could successfully deter Gigante long enough for the others to act.

She was able to guess what Alarath was trying to do, so even if he did manage to really hurt him by destroying the mask, she was almost sure that would improve their situation. If not, they could still cause him enough pain to distract him.

Bria was just about so send the cold water to Gigante's face, but her plan was foiled. "Alarath!" She shouted, as Gigante aimed his gigantic hands at Alarath. It all happened too quickly and before she knew it, a new plan had been devised. She nodded as Ken took off to do his part and at his signal, she sent the water she had ready directly into his eyes. She kept doing so, lifting as much water from the ground as she can at a time, throwing it in Gigante's face as quickly as she could. |

Most recent one I have. Taken like...JUST before I cut my hair (which you won't be able to tell anyway, that pic isn't a full body pic, and even though I cut like 6 inches off, it's still kinda long now, so...merh.) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v237/KatanaAlasol/Me/Random15.jpg The only way I can get my hair to successfully look wavy rather than straight...when I get out of the shower, towel dry the crap outta it, and then don't brush it. :p Not wearing any make-up btw, 'cept for the eyeliner that didn't wash off in the shower. :p So...dun dun dun. Bria watched in awe as Avendia worked her magic. She was preoccupied with the plan from earlier to clearly witness the first time she healed someone. She took in a few deep breaths. She figured the events had shaken everyone pretty badly. It had yet to set in with her. She still remained calm, suprising even herself and fearing how it might feel if shock comes later.

She made her way over to Vincent and Avendia, kneeling down as well, close to Alexis. "I'll stick around her until she's back to one hundred percent." She says softly, glancing from Vincent to Avendia.
