Lesse...I know Xeios, Cairoi, and though he hasn't been here in ages, Jobes, as well as Truth, Evo(Haha! I met her) and Drizzt. Who I'd like to meet? Everyone.  I agree with Rogue...we should all meet at Xeo's place.

Bria let out a sigh of relief. She had not said a word since they had left the room. Even though she had agreed that this was one of the better routes to take, she still couldn't help but feel closed in. She assumed that she would feel this way, as the sound of Ken opening the sewer gate filled her with a slight hesitation.

Now she couldn't help but go rigid, forcing herself along the path with everyone else. The only thing she had to comfort her was the water surrounding them. Bria always found it soothing, but the longer they were down there, the more difficult she found it to breathe. She couldn't stand being in a place without windows or sunlight.

Again, Bria found herself reaching for the person in front of her, instinctively, and tugging him behind her. She knew the others ahead would do just fine in battle, but couldn't help but be a bit unsure of Alarath. It's not like she could do much more for herself, but a lesson bestowed upon her constantly rang in her ears, which was to help those around her.

I've heard of this. Is this the one where all the characters practically are combined into one story? Something about all the super heros' identities need to be registered with the government, some go along with it, but others are against it?? I might be talking about a completely different story though. |

I am currently writing in this journal we have to keep for Japanese class...the whole thing has to be in Japanese. Kinda difficult, but hey, he said he isn't taking off points when he corrects them, unless he sees the same mistake over and over and over again. (I dun blame him for that one. He just wants us to pay attention to his corrections is all) There's not much we CAN write though, because we've really only just started learning verbs. I feel like I'm in second grade again, writing sentences like "I went to the movies with my friend."

So, this will be my eleventh niece or nephew. This time the baby belongs to one of my younger sisters...But oh well. Long post ahead by the way...

I'm not too shocked really. It's weird how my family works. As far as sisters go, there's my three older ones, they're closer in age, and then there's a 10 year difference between me and the one that was just before me. Then there's me, and my two younger sisters, we're 18, 17, and 15, so we're close in age, and then there's the babies, they're only 4 and 5. So...we all kinda clutter ourselves into different groups for obvious reasons. Anywho, the 17 year old is the pregnant one. We're not suprised. We all knew she'd be the first out of us. What we ARE shocked about is the fact that we just found out on Wednesday and she was having contractions yesterday. They were prolly from stress more than anything though. But the doctors did say that she was about 8 months, as opposed to the 5 months that she said she thought she was. I haven't seen her since I found out, but I heard she's only barely showing. Prolly something hereditary or something. I remember when their mother was pregnant with my other sister, and she didn't really show, and the pictures tell me that she didn't show with my other sister, so...yeah. I'll have to get pictures though...I have one of her around Christmas time, THEN she shoulda been about 5 months and you can't tell. At all. She was wearing "big" clothes, but nothing big enough to hide it anyways, and she always wears bigger clothes in the winter anyways... Point is, she really didn't give us any way of knowing. I was with her a few times when she got sick, but she was also running a fever, so I just thought she was sick and treated her as such. Though then again, she was always able to give herself fevers by getting herself mentally worked up, so I imagine that's what she did. There's little things that we had no way of knowing then, but now that we think of it we're like "Damn, there was little signs of it." Like the whole period thing...some women CAN get their periods still in the very beginning...someone told me that, I dunno how true that is...but it's also something she and I have inherited from our father's side of the family. Irregular periods. Hell, my aunt is almost 40 and has rarely been regular and her whole time having it, she would skip a month or so once in a while. I know I still do. So when she didn't get it, we didn't think anything of it either. Hell, if we did, then they should've thought we BOTH were pregnant, cuz I was skipping around then too. I know, more information than you guys prolly wanna know. :p But I've just been running through all of the details in my head since I found out. She said she wants me in there with her when she has the baby, and the doctor is going to let me, so...I have a feeling this is going to be "our" baby, since the father is in denial (I'm going to take care of him when I get down there.) and he's such a loser he wouldn't be able to do much even if he DID accept it. Didn't go to school today, because I was talking on the phone with her, and her mother, and our dad all morning. She might come and live with me for a few months, or I'll just have to get my ass in gear and actually get my liscence and go down to her house when I'm not at school or working(Was supposed to have a job interview this week...bastards) Well...the whole family is going to chip in, but she's really been clinging to me. I think she's been contemplating telling us for a few weeks. We don't live together, and with me in college, the two of them in high school, the academic work is much more of a burden(grade school allowed sooo much more free time, and it wasn't too bad when just one of the three of us was in high school). So we haven't seen each other as much this winter than usual, but we call each other once a week at least, always E-mail each other, saw each other on weekends...but these past few weeks, she has been calling me like 20 times a day, and asking me to go down to see them a lot more than usual (and this is the one that I didn't get along with too well!) So I don't know how we're going to work this, but she's going to need help with the baby. I've been put in charge of throwing a baby shower for her. We don't know the gender...the kid wouldn't turn around in the ultrasound! But she hasn't seen it anyways. She refuses to do anything without me and I haven't been able to make the hour and a half trek to where she lives. (Well, I'm going down tonight and staying the weekend.) So...I don't know. Talking to her was awful. I think she was in denial the whole time...She was like a zombie though...and everyone else told me that she isn't saying much to anyone except for asking when I was going to be there. I have no idea why she wants me involved so much. Of course I'd make myself involved if she didn't. I'm not missing out on a niece/nephew, but she doesn't want to do ANYthing without me. I don't know why. She and I were always at each other's throats...secretly we were close I guess. As evil as she was to me (and I mean evil...) she never let anyone else walk in and act that way toward me...unless she was behind it of course. Haha. I dunno.  Just rambling here I guess. This has really only been going on for the past few days, but I'm getting phone calls every half hour at the most, especially today, and I dunno. I'll do anything for my sister, she can ask for anything...it's just pissing me off that the rest of the family is putting more responsibility on me too. Like my dad and her mom. It's like I'll do everything I can, but they haven't even said a word to me about what they're doing about it. Just "She wants you for this...she wants you for that..." Ugh, I dunno.
Nothing I've said prolly has made sense, since I'm just rambling...maybe I can clear it up later.

As far as a test goes...I am against the idea. As usual, what I am about to say is based off of an opinion. Books are all fine and good to learn from, but what I see and hear that is actually going on is important too, because books can tell us how things were, and how they should be, but people are the ones carrying out what is happening. So most of this is based off of what I have heard from people that I believe to be fairly intelligent...

Mandating a test would actually be a good idea...IF...yes, IF, there weren't corrupt people out there to ruin the system. From the little I know, I don't trust that there are that many good people out there in politics, and even if they have nothing to do with the grading system...they have money. I really don't think I need to explain that any further. But the fact is, there will be someone out there to ruin it and make it unfair. Also, I'm sick of hearing that people should do this...and people should do that. Yes, people ought to know what they're doing...but we aren't born with that sort of knowledge. We have to learn from somewhere. If we were born with it, I don't think I would be as unsure of myself when it comes to this stuff as I am. :p See? I'm trying to learn. But without the proper tools out there to learn, how can we? I believe it was already mentioned here, and it was a very good point. The government should somehow offer a way for people to learn. As compared to some other countries, our students aren't as oriented as they could be, so I don't think adding an extra class in high schools would kill us. I mean God forbid this president should put as much toward education as he's always saying he is.
For those outside of high schools...hell...free seminars or something. I dunno...Again, as I have said, most of this isn't really based on actual facts. A lot of what I say is simply how I feel anyway, so I am not saying I am right and what I've said is absolute. I do, however, want to learn, so for those correcting me, please back it up with facts.
