| Before she could get an answer, she heard loud crashes from outside and the building shook slightly.
"Shit..." She mumbled. She turned to Brad. "I don't fully understand why...but I think I can trust you..." She grabbed her shard and took off her bracelet. She then closed the bracelet, knowing that it wouldn't fit Brad anyway. Frantically, she grabbed his hand and shoved her shard in it. She then closed his fingers around it. "It should protect both you and Henry. Get to the helicopter and come get us..." She then darted out from under the shield, and made a mad dash for the outside, yet again. How she didn't get shot, she didn't know. Perhaps some of the guards were too suprised, because there weren't many bullets fired in her direction. Once outside, she could the large crater-like dent in the ground that Seifer left behind. However, Seifer wasn't anywhere to be spotted...his coat was, but he wasn't the one wearing it. Holly took in a deep breath and charged at Josiah. Once close enough, she tackled him to the ground. "You son of a bitch!" She shouted. She grabbed hold of the collar of Seifer's coat and shoved Josiah to the ground. "No magic...no shards. Hand to hand combat, let's see how you fair...you claim to be strong...I don't believe it! All you do is betray people...and for what?!" Her eyes swelled up with tears, but they didn't fall. She continued to have a tight grip on the collar and she was breathing heavily. She didn't know what hit her. All she knew was that she was sick of sitting back. She glared down angrily at Josiah. She didn't know where her sudden burst of energy came from, but she hoped to buy Seifer some time to get back on his feet. |

| Holly was about to protest Seifer's statement when Josiah rose to his feet. She immediately grabbed hold of Seifer and pulled him close to her. She cringed and did her very best to keep her balance as the ground beneath them rose. Shouting at them was Josiah's one flaw in his attack...at least the one Holly picked up. That gave her the first clue that something else was coming. Still holding onto Seifer, she used her body weight to knock him off to the side and kicked off the pavement. As she hit the ground, the wind was knocked out of her. Rather than try to regain her breath right away, she rolled off to the side, dragging Seifer with her. Once they were far enough away from the falling rocks, Holly sat up on her knees, took in a deep breath and then let it out.
She looked over at Seifer, panting. "I'm sorry...I know I've more than likely caused you more pain...but, you're hurt too much to fight him right now. Mr. Desin should be here with a helicopter any second now...but...if something happens to you..." She looked down to the ground, her hands clenching her jeans tightly. "...it'll be all my fault." She took in another deep breath. "It'll be fine until Brad gets here...I can last a few seconds." By then, the rocks had finished falling and the ground had completely settled again. Slowly, she got to her feet and turned toward Josiah. "I give up!" She shouted to him, raising her hands in defeat. "I'll give it to you now...but you have to promise not to hurt anybody else!" (OOC: Sorry for taking over there Cairoi. I was sick of being helpless. XD and I suck at SIM, so my maneuvering here blows too.  Sorry.) |

| (OOC: Okay, so I talked to FX, and Cairoi, I think we would've gotten on the helicopter eventually anyways, so....might as well continue the story...)
When Brad finally came with the helicopter, Holly was thrilled. She didn't exactly have any back up plans for when Josiah found out that she was bluffing about her shard. She looked back at Seifer and gave him a small smile. "We can settle this later...please, just take time to get better, then you'll have your chance." Suddenly, the other helicopters caught Holly's attention. She watched in horror as Marinae soldiers dropped down from them... No sooner had she and Seifer entered the helicopter, did Jeremy show his face. When she saw him come close, she made her way to the front, where she assumed he would show up. She screamed as he made his enterance onto the helicopter and pointed his gun at Brad's head. "Stop it!" She exclaimed. "Put the gun down...he hasn't hurt anyone." Her face contorted into a glare, as she locked eyes with Jeremy. "What are the Marinae doing? If they hurt anyone, I swear, I'll..." She didn't know what to say. You'll what, Holly? she thought to herself. There was nothing that she really could do. "Now I KNOW Alden isn't concerned enough about anyone's saftey but his own, so I can't believe that this is completely some sort of rescue mission..." |

I don't really think a minimum wage increase is good...I am stating this blindly, so please correct me if I am wrong, but isn't this a result of inflation and stuff? Since everything is coming up in price, that $7.50 an hour will end up doing the same as the old minimum wages, wouldn't it? Kinda scary that we'd need $7.50 an hour just to live.... |

| Hmm...yeah...even in high school...if this shit was ever presented to anyone from my old high school...it just wouldn't be acceptable.
Though...I'll admit, I wrote an article like this back in my freshman year. Not this exactly, but on a topic dealing with gender roles. I purposely sounded like a shallow-minded...basically unintelligent...person. Why? To be noticed. Story behind it is that there was too much smoking going on in the bathrooms, and the teachers that were supposed to stop it, weren't...the one bathroom was soo bad. I personally got sent home from school cuz of asthma attacks I'd get just from going inside the bathrooms. Along with a few other people, I'd go down to the offices, but they'd just "yes" us to death and sent us on our way. So, I wrote something like that, and asked my English teacher read it and pass it around among the faculty, but I asked him to act as though I had seriously thought that was good and wanted to hand it in. He did, and as a result, I became a topic among the faculty, which in turn led to them finding time to talk to me, and once they got to know me a bit...to end this quickly, I was heard and the teachers did more to stop the smoking in the bathrooms. No, I wasn't a tattle tale, but I dun care if people smoke. I won't be disrespectful and criticize smokers like everyone else does, so respect me and don't smoke around me, s'how I see it. But anywho...my long story aside...if this girl is serious...**tries not to rant about it** It's not always all about working though...I have just finished up my first semester of college, about to start my second...I currently hold a 4.0 average. It's a really good feeling being able to say that about myself and it gives me more self confidence. Just that simple GPA does that for me, without going into what I've already accomplished in such little time as far as my career goes...which I won't be stopping until I have my masters degree. Sorry guys...I just harbor strong feelings for academics and if this girl is serious...**gets pissed off** |

| Holly clenched her fists angrily as she heard Brad make his announcement. She didn't protest it this time, however. She glanced over at Brad. "I don't condone it...but I guess its self defense this time..."
Holly gasped as she heard something else enter the helicopter, but to her suprise, it was Leon. She didn't say anything, nor did she know what came over her, but she made her way over to him and hugged him, practically diving on him. "You know, you could've stopped them from leaving the Marinae base." She says playfully as she tilts her head upward to look at him. She then glanced over at Seifer and saw him rubbing his chest. She could tell that he was in pain simply by the way he moved about the helicopter. "Sit." She says sternly, pointing to where he had just gotten up from. She pulled herself away from Leon and folded her arms across her chest. "And you were going to continue fighting. Have you gone insane?!" She exclaims, waving her arms about slightly. "We'll worry about Josiah once we're all rested." She says, shooting a sideways glance at Leon. She had not seen Josiah go off with Jack, so she didn't realize how urgent it may have been to find him as soon as possible. |

| Double post...
I just saw this movie tonight...and...well, it was A LOT better than I had expected. I REALLY liked it. It had romance in it and all, but I think it was more funny than a romance kinda thing. For once, the previews didn't just show all the good parts and leave out all the shitty parts.
There's this one little girl in it...I laughed my ass off, came home, pulled up some screen shots, snagged the few baby pictures that I have, and shoved them all in my mom's face. She refuses to aknowledge that we're British...like...VERY British(Prolly cuz she hates that side of the family though...long story). But the one little girl...didn't look like me per se, but we both had a lot of the same traits reflecting our nationality. :p |

| Holly looked strangely at Seifer for a moment before blinking it away. "How long do you reckon it will take us to get to your place?" She asks as she walks over and kneels beside him. "This is going to hurt...probably a lot." She says, looking over at him with a sly smile as she placed her hands over his ribcage. She didn't apply any pressure just yet. Rather, she ran her fingers gingerly over them to see if she could feel anything wrong. Then, she applied pressure ever so slightly.
"Few of them might be broken...they should probably be wrapped up now." She glanced around the chopper, looking around for something she could use to wrap them. |

Sorry. It had to be done. I'd say "Return of the Jedi" is my favorite, and all the others are kinda equal. I guess. When I was little, for some reason, "Empire" didn't appeal to me as much, but as I got older, I grew to like it more and more. "Clones"...Merh...but for some reason I'm like that...the middle story of a trillogy is kinda...ehh. Best part about "Clones" was of course, the battle with Yoda...but not just cuz it's Yoda, but because after all that flipping out, he picked up his cane again. XD "Phantom" I LOVE. People say it's too "kiddish", well...I was 11 when it came out, so...I was at that age. Even though I'm older now, when I watch "Phantom", I still feel like I did then, all excited, knowing I'm alive when a Star Wars film came out. XD And "A New Hope" **shrugs** I just like it. |

| Holly nodded a 'thank you' to Brad as he slid her the first aid kit. The box made a soft clicking sound as she opened it up. She took a step back as Seifer began to rise. Knowing that it would be easier for her to wrap his ribs up that way, she did not object. "Arms up." She stated as Seifer was introducing himself. She gently pushed his arms up and nudged him so that he was standing up straight. She began wrapping him up while he spoke. Something hit her hard, when he mentioned being Josiah's partner. What the hell? she thought to herself. So Josiah betrayed a lot more than I thought...
She was about to comment, but Jeremy had spoken up finally, followed by Leon. "I say..." She begins, giving one last tug at the bandage. "...that it is fine with me...with one exception." She steps back and looks at Seifer. "The 'guardian' crap ends now." She smiled. "Thank you for everything you've done, and I really appreciate it...however..." She then steps back so that she could get a good glance around everyone in the helicopter. "If we're going to do this, we might as well just look out for one another...equally." She pauses and glances over at Henry, who was still unconscious, and then over at Jeremy. "Mr. Desin, I'm sure the Marinae can accomodate you once we have gone from Seifer's place. I'm sorry you had to throw away so much..." |

| I haven't read the book yet either...and I really want to! I did, however, see the movie. I really liked it. I've already heard the stuff like, it doesn't go with the book and stuff...but most books into movies, don't anyway, so...
The movie was excellent though. Seemed like a younger LOTR....well, maybe...not really. Just the scenery reminds me of LOTR on many occasions. I was watching it and thought to myself "Does EVERYBODY film in New Zealand now?" That is, if they filmed scenes of Eragon there...I haven't looked too much into the making of it...yet.
All in all, I LOVED the movie. Avril Lavigne sings a very pretty song for the soundtrack as well. |

XD Yah, only two, but I babysat alot and stuff during the break too...and while they're all old enough ('cept Brielle) that I can just pop in a movie for the younger ones, and let the older ones go out with their friends so that I can do things I wanna do...its just too fun playing with the kids when I do have them. :p
As of now though...I am currently reading my Japanese textbook. Brushing up on last semester's stuff and getting a jump start on the chapter we're opening this semester with. |

**Several times** But yes, I do agree, the movie was spectacular. Six movies...usually I guess that can be overkill ('cept for Star Wars. XD) but I'm really glad they made this one. I feel that it gave the story of Philly's Italian Stallion a nice close. The ending to the fifth one just didn't do it for me. Neither did the entire movie, it was alright, but merh. I guess that's what made this movie so good. They intended on this movie just being the one to give the popular series an nice closure, didn't they? It just didn't feel like they made it with intentions of trying to bring it back and overkill it, ya know? |
