| At the sound of the beep, Holly quickly turned toward the door. After taking one good look at the man who entered the room, she froze. Moments passed as the two stared at one another, until finally, she spoke.
"Of all the goddamned bases you could have been stationed at..." She said. She didn't bother to mutter that statement. In fact, she made it clear as day with defiance all over her voice. Her hands were at her sides, balled into fists. She wasn't going to let on that she had considered trying to see if he was even at this base. |

| "Where's Alden?" Holly asked, completely brushing aside his statement. Besides, Leon was there and she was not going to loosen up in front of anyone. "I haven't the slightest idea as to what's going on here...I heard something about bombs...what do we need to do to get rid of them?"

| Holly spun around to face Leon so fast that she nearly lost her balance. Her eyes were wide and her mouth open in shock. "Leon...I am obviously not on good terms with this man." She says, gesturing behind her, toward her father. "But comments such as those..." Her voice trailed off and she turned to face her father again.
"If no one is going to take me to Alden, I'll find him myself." She says as she walks right past her father and out the door. |

| Holly's cheeks were red and she was a bit fatigued by the time she managed to get past all of the guards and get into their conference room. "Alden, what the hell is going on he--" She stopped dead in her tracks and locked her dark blue eyes on Brad. She took a deep breath to calm herself and brushed a hand through her waist-length black hair.
She glanced around at the empty chairs and chose one that was about an equal distance from both Alden and Brad. "You boys take forever and make discussing most of these issues much more complicated than they actually are..." She said as she slumped into the seat. She then looked over at Alden and smiled. "And it will take a lot more than him..." she says, tilting her head in Eric's direction. "...to get me out of here." |

| Holly pushed her bangs out of her eyes and leaned closer to the table. She placed her elbows on the table and laced her fingers together to rest her chin on them. She looked Brad directly in his eyes as she spoke.
"Why?" She asked. She paused as she kept her eyes locked on Brad to be sure that he would take her seriously. "The one responsible for the death of these millions...let's say, this situation for example, would be the one who detonated the bombs, would he not?" She raised an eyebrow as she made her statement, keeping her voice and composure cool and relaxed. "While I do not feel Alden is always right..." Her eyes darted in Alden's direction for a moment before returning to Brad's. "Using innocent lives as collatoral is just as wrong, Mr..." Her voice trailed off as she waited for Brad to give her his name. |

Holly chuckled. "Well you see, Mr. Desin, this is exactly why I am with none of these factions. You all seem to feel that having ultimate control will solve everything." She paused. "I always did feel that you men were that way, control freaks, and I have yet to be proven wrong." She then got to her feet and made her way over to Alden. She looked over at Eric and smiled, letting him know that she meant no harm. Gingerly, she reached for Alden's glass and took a sip of his drink. She was at ease with the men in the room as she sauntered over to her original position at the table. Only this time she did not sit in the chair. She stood, leaning her right hip on the table, crossing her legs at her ankles, and placing both hands at the very edge of the table. "No one should be killed." She says firmly, making eye contact with both men sitting around her. "I don't care what your intentions are. Loss of life at all is wrong...and all for the sake of what...control?" She looked back at Eric and tilted her head slightly. The man hardly ever spoke. He probably has the most sense out of all of us here...She thought to herself ruefully before turning her attention back on Alden and Brad. "People should not be forced to chose a side. It just isn't right. I, for instance, am not with any of your factions. If I was, it would be out of sheer force and even then, my heart would not truly be into it." She paused. "Any society would crumble is its members weren't into it. Therefore, by taking over the Marinae, Mr. Desin, you would only be forcing your views upon many people who do not share your thoughts and feelings." She sighed, flopping back down in her chair. This time she sat scrunched up, placing her boots at the edge of the table, elbows on her knees, and forehead cradled in her fingers. "We need to get Edgar in here. I witnessed what happened the last time negotiations were attempted, but this time will be different, I'm sure of it." She looked from Brad to Alden. "And I am offering to take full responsibility for the consequences of my misjudgement, should anything go wrong. I will not resist. However, I demand that I be present as well." She then found herself glancing back over at Eric, a smile spreading over her youthful face. "Afterall, someone needs to defend those who chose to be on their own, rather than part of the three major factions." |

| "Sent up in flames?!" Holly exclaimed as she locked an outraged gaze on Brad. Quickly and gracefully, she brushed past Brad and stood directly in front of him in the doorway. "You can't be serious...not here...not now." Her voice was was not calm again, but the urgency was still there. "Sir, with all due respect, you can't really go through with this...please, put some more thought into this..." Her arms were outstretched in a feeble attempt to prevent Brad from exiting the room. | Holly looked back and forth from Brad to Alden, still standing in the doorway in front of Brad. She did not say a word at first, but continued glaring at both men for a moment or two.
"You still don't get it, Mr. Desin. You're saying your only solutions are killing some people versus killing many people...why do your solutions have to involve killing people at all?" Her voice was calm, but with the attitude that came with it before. This time it was soft. "Now...I am not moving from this door until I am satisfied with the answers." She looked up at Brad as she waited for his response. |

| Teehee. Well, I see what you mean. It just so happens that when it comes to movies, I like most types out there, but as far as books are concerned, I LOVE reading...but I'm a bit more picky about the genre with books than I am with movies for some reason. So yeah...
I'd still like to see it though, and if I do, I'll let ya know if it's REALLY cheesy or not. Hopefully give ya a heads up in case you do end up watching it with friends.  |

| Holly jumped slightly as she felt Leon's hands on her waist. She huffed as he nudged her aside and took her place in the doorway. She shot him a sideways glance before repositioning herself so that she could look around at everyone in the room. She then decided to position herself between Brad and Leon. She knew Leon was fully capable of taking Brad out right there, and also knew that wouldn't solve anything, so she was attempting to prevent anything like that from happening.
She then turned her back to Brad and faced Leon. "I'm sure Mr. Desin will do the smart thing and not hurt anyone..." She says, speaking softly. She was still unsure of whether Leon was back to hus usual self or not. |

Holly turned sharply to Brad. "Alden hasn't spoken much because of his incompetence." She says, without even glancing in Alden's direction. Anything to get him fired up at this point... she thought to herself. "To be honest...I still don't like th idea of the Marinae having to join you, Mr. Desin. As I have already said, no one should be forced to side with anything..." She paused to let out a long, exasperated sigh. She shook her arm slightly so that her bracelet would slide down to her wrist. She pulled back her sleeve, and in from her bracelet dangled her shard. "These things...these are what caused all of this bullshit." Holly said angrily. She then rolled up her sleeve and tucked her shard back inside. "Rather than fuss over who is on whose side, we should be focusing on where the shards came from. We should either get rid of them all together, or learn about them so that we can use them properly." |

| K, so erm...I have a charrie in mind...I wanna dust good 'Ole Katana off for this one. Now, without tweaking her for this story, she is basically a half demon. In her human form, which she is most of the time, she is like every other human being. Human appearance and everything. She still has some traces of her demon self, such as agility, but it's nothing too noticable though, she would just be considered a little faster than most humans pretty much. Now, she also has a demon form which, though her appearance changes a bit, she's looks human, only she has cat ears and a tail, and her nails are a little longer and sharper (Like claws, only they're still pretty subtle)
With that said...is it okay if I use her for this RP? Or do I have to change her a tad for this story? |

| Holly turned around to see an oddly dressed man who appeared as though he would pass out at any moment. Her pale face scrunched up in a puzzled expression as she peered at him with her dark blue eyes. With a flick of her wrist, she knocked a long strand of black hair away from her eyes, letting it flutter behind her, to her waist with the rest of her hair. His voice tugged at her memory, but nothing else seemed to strike her as familiar. She opened her mouth to speak, but could find no words to describe the suprise and confusion she felt at the same time.
Keep yourself together Holly...she thought sternly to herself. ...you're trying to prove a point to two men who don't seem to care about what you have to say... She said nothing as she tried to distribute her attention to the entire room. There was Eric over in the corner, Alden, saying and doing nothing as usual, Brad, who was more than likely two seconds away from pushing past her and Leon and back to his base. Then, there was Leon, who was probably as confused and suprised as she was, only he'd be the one more likely to say something sarcastic about it. |
