It's alright. Sometimes you just gotta let it out. Besides, I share some of the frustrations as you do...I think everyone does. But...I will admit, that when I'm on my game, I am a cocky little sonuvabitch.

I'm told by various friends and family that when people around me are acting like they're better than I am, if it's something that I am actually good at, I just get this grin. I don't say anything. I just get this arrogant little grin and proceed on with the talent that's the topic at that particular time. If the other person truly is as good as they think they are, and really is better, then well...fair is fair. They are better. But most of the time that isn't the case. **smirks** So I just go ahead and do it. I dun say anything, I just show them just what I can do when backed into that corner when someone is trying to make me feel inferior. [/boasting]

To most people it just looks like I'm simply going on with what's going on at the moment. But I know inside, that odds are, I'm just doing it to prove myself and that people who talk of how good they are at something rather than just do what they can do aren't all that hot anyways. So yeah...I am like those people who act like they're better than people in a way. **shrugs**

One pet peeve of mine, is when people just talk. Everyone can do that. Don't tell me what you can do. Show me what you can do. (Exceptions are made to that petpeeve, :p Ie: when it's conversation, trying to get to know people better, stuff like that.)

Polls....Meh. If I gave a rat's ass about them, you guys would be the first to get one. I don't really care either way. I usually don't end up voting in them anyways. I just respond to the topic with my own response. Not everything is black and white, ya know? There are grey areas to lots of things, so...polls kinda limit responses sometimes.

Dunno if that's really the right title...**shrugs** Part of this song was in a stunt video my friends had made, but then I heard more of it when I watched "Shaun of the Dead" (Fusking hilarious movie by the way) So yeah...Gotta love Queen.

The only computer that's technically mine is my laptop. That I can only use here at my gram's because it isn't wireless and I can only hook it up here... I usually use that downstairs in my livingroom. I dun mind though, they respect my privacy enough not to look over my shoulder as I type and stuff.


Then the one at my mom's is in the dinningroom, my two sisters have their's in their livingroom too...**shrugs** Not much privacy but oh well.

Short physical description: Skin tone could be considered average, not pale, but not exactly tan either. Brown freckles dot the bridge of her nose and across her cheeks, underneath her eyes. Her eyes are as dark of a shade of brown as they can get, while her wavy, chestnut brown hair falls about her shoulders. Kara is a rather shy and reserved girl and not very confrontational. However, she is not afraid to get her hands dirty when necessicary. (Never could keep these things short)
Weapons and armour: No armor, but she has a single handgun.
Special skills: Good with computers and is a biology major as well. She knows quite a bit of First Aid, and is usually kept around as a medic. She also has wonderful aim. Hasn't missed her mark since she learned how to use a gun.
Group: Mercenary (Unless someone can tell me that the I.G.P.D is...)

Kara stood beside the general as he spoke, her First Aid kit at her feet. However, her mind was not all there. Her brown eyes scanned the sky outside the helicoptor. It was so beautiful...yet the beauty of it seemed to be sucked away by the tension that was present inside the helicoptor. She took in a deep breath, just as the general was finishing his speech.

How the hell did I end up here? She thought to herself. I should still be in a classroom...they all know this...they sure as hell don't accept me here... She looked over the crowd, eyeing them carefully. Every face that stared back at her were the faces of older, experienced soldiers. How she managed to get herself there, she wasn't sure. Did it have anything to do with her father? She wondered about that constantly, since the day soldiers came into her biology lecture and took her away to the general. As the general's speech came to an end, Kara let out her breath very slowly.

Kara tilted her head over to Andrea. She couldn't help but flash the woman a smile. "Mind reader, huh?" She replies with a bit of playful sarcasm. With a quick glance, she looks back at the soldiers sitting around them, and then backat Andrea. She looked over this woman carefully.

"Are you sure it's just me?" She adds with a wink.

With a giggle, She gave Andrea a nod. "Alex Daniels?" She askes, briefly tossing her head in his direction. "The general told me to keep an eye on him..." She adds, nudging her first aid kit lightly with her black boot. "...and a few others as well. Certain valuable soldiers." She smiled as she made her last comment. She knew this must be the other one, being as this is the only other woman Kara has seen since she's left school.

Andrea's last question took her aback. She wasn't exactly sure on how to answer. She hasn't seen her father in years...so she couldn't even be sure enough that he was the one behind her summoning.

'I'm not too sure to be honest..." Kara replies, gingerly moving a strand of her hair out of her eyes. "When I got here, the general over there explained to me that there were a few soldiers that he wished were kept alive...I am not trained in any special combat...so I can't see how I could really be of much help. More of a burden if you think about it..."

RP/Story Featured in: Descendants of Darkness

Appearance: Fair skin, hazel eyes, and waist-length, poker straight light brown hair. Being as neither of her parents were very tall, she too was smaller in stature, standing at about 5 feet tall.

Personality: Kira is very quiet and reserved. She was raised in an area where her nearest neighbors were at least a few miles away. Once she started school, her insecurities increased. Up until she started school and outside of school, she never dealt with much people. Then for a few hours everyday, she would be thrust in an area surrounded with people. However, since she was a smal child, she had always lover her violin. Over the years, her mastery of the instrument increased. When she played, it was as though all of her usual reservations dissappeared. She could play in front of hundreds of people and it wouldn't bother her.
