Anywho...E3...I think I'd die happy if I had a chance to go there...as for anime conventions...there's the Otakon(sp?) in Baltimore every year....and we're having an anime convention here in Philadelphia in October. I can actually go...and of course I'll be there all dressed up. Teehee.

**huggles** I feel your pain.  Just yesterday I took a fall...Xeios could tell you about that one...he was part of what tripped me. (Though all jokes aside, it wasn't his fault at all.) It's not that bad but a cool looking scab on my knee now. My other knee is scratched up a little, and the elbow even less. I didn't stop bleeding for a while though (anemia sucks) and when my mom saw it she socked me in the arm really hard and called me an asshole...but that's about it really.
Gah...and cleaning the bathroom... Icing to top the cake with, eh? |

Xei, if you even think about putting a swear word in your custom title, I'll be the one issuing the strike, and I'll have custom title privileges revoked for you. I know you meant this as a joke, but in all honesty, it really isn't the time for kidding around about this stuff. There's been a lot of flamming and as long as I've been here, if none of you know my opinion on flamming by now and how I will react to it... **sigh** We're still trying to solve these problems and get the board back on track, and if people are making jokes about it now, then that's almost like mocking our efforts to turn this place around again. Then things will never be "fixed". I mean c'mon people...what happened here anyway? Staff is upset over these events, we're the ones it's effecting the most...and we're the ones that are wracking out brains trying to come up with cool things for this board now. I mean hell, a lot of people here like art...Aden and I were trying to devise all sorts of art contests and stuff for you guys....rather than complain about things being boring around here, why don't you guys PM us with ideas? **shrugs** We're always more than open to them you guys. I don't have any qualms with anyone here. I like everyone on this board, and if any of you guys have a reason to dislike me, PM me, in a nice, respectful manner, and we'll talk it over and get over whatever the issue is, and if anyone else has issues with one another, do the same among yourselves, and other staff members if you're having issues with them, and if there's a problem, if the other person responds not so kindly...don't respond to them, PM me, or someone else, let us know what's going on, and we'll all take it from there. Then problem solved. Easier said than done, but we're willing to with with you guys here! There's been a lot of issues going on here as of late and I'm just as sick of them and upset by them as everyone else is. Everytime I log on here, there's something going on, or something that's happened...and it really makes me not wanna post here or try and come up with ideas for the board...but I like this board, it's very theraputic, just being able to come here and do fun things like art, talk about certain things. When no one else really listens to you in the house about what you wanna do with your life, it's nice to see a thread here saying "What do you wanna be when you grow up", therefore, I am not giving up on this board, people. There's problems, but I log on and never get PMs...Give other staff members a bit of a break, we're all willing to help you guys. You're all more than welcome to PM me or IM me, or whatever. Sorry for the rant you guys, I kinda let loose a bit more than I usually do. But re-read the above post. I've never seen him so upset...he's worked hard on this board. Do you guys know how discouraging this is? Especially for Xeo. It just really upset me to read that post and should have the same effect on you guys. I'd like this thread closed please...I don't want this thread turning into a flame war and people pointing fingers or anything. I want it to stop. It's making the board look so negative and this really shouldn't be a negative place. If anyone has a problem with me or anything I've said, PM me and we'll discuss it there or on AIM or something. |

I mean, yeah, I hate they way they butcher the stuff too...but...I totally agree with Avatar here....I only care because I'm already into it. When I was a kid...hell, Sailor Moon was on WB when I was in like kindergarten...and I didn't give a shit that they didn't have the original opening/endings, I just liked the show...same thing with Pokemon when I was into it... However, Adult Swim butchering things....I would have to be a bit more critical on that I would have to say, than with WB, or Toonami or something. **shrugs** (restricted) |

You just keep getting better and better with these characters. Francine is good when I take it as it is. Really good in fact. But if I were to compare it to the others you just posted, then yeah, I could see what you mean. **shrugs** It's still good though. |

Is there something that all of these anime have in common? Like creator or something? **shrugs** I don't think I've ever seen a thread made for the sole purpose of rattling off names of anime and asking who's heard of 'em...I could be wrong though...**shrugs**
Anywho...out of those, the only ones I've heard of are Bleach and DNAngel...care to expand any upon these titles?

I think...the worst that I can remember at least...was either hurricane Dennis or Flloyd, back when I was in 4th grade? **shrugs** I dunno. Somewhere around there. But anywho....all that was, was a lot of thunder, lightening, rain, wind. A few trees in Northeast Philly were struck down and blown away here and there, but that was about it as far as the devastation is concerned. **shrugs** Storms scare the hell outta me though, and as far as the thunder and lightening storms, Xeios and Caiori could tell you, we get 'em BAD during the summer cuz of humidity and stuff like that. Do I agree that hurricanes are a result of us destroying our planet? I agree that it's a factor, a factor that may continue to grow, but still...hurricanes are natural occurences too, ya know? So no, I don't think that if our environment was "perfect" we wouldn't have them...just maybe not AS much and AS bad...Dun attack me here on this opinion, but please do inform me if I have missed something. This is simply something I've thought up based off of random facts I've picked up.

As for myself...I'm a morning person if I wake up on my own. I dunno. It dun matter how much (or how little for the matter) sleep I've gotten...I could fall asleep at 4 or something, only to wake up 2 hours later, and if it's on my own, I'm happy as all hell, especially if its early enough to catch the sunrise (Leave me alone, sometimes I can be a sap.... )
So yeah...I suppose that's the artsy side of me. Watching the sun comming up when I get up, my first thoughts are usually ideas of things to write, draw, or some kind of music to write. **shrugs** It usually takes the edge off of the day. Then, when something else actually wakes me up, I'm a miserable bitch when I wake up. I'm usually crabby for a good 10 minutes or so, and in those cases, my first thoughts are what I've got to do that day and stuff. I'm both laid back and uptight, if that makes any sense. When something's gotta be done, I'm uptight about them and they've gotta be done on time and right...and then other times, in keeping up with my responsibilities, it warrants me a bit more free time than I would have had if I screwed around, and when it comes to free time, then yeah... What about you guys?

Right after my home team lost, the Flyers, I was rooting for the Hurricanes. They've got most of our old Flyers players...yeah, the players that were really good and that I saw no reason at all for them to go.
But...Would this be general, or entertainment? Hmm.....
