| Sabrina lagged behind the others by a few trots, taking in all that she had heard, in the stable, the announcements she heard outside, and now these conversations. Even while they were heading into battle, she held a relaxed demeanor. She patter her horse on his mane. He had been given to her by her father many years ago and had never failed her yet. They seemed to have formed some sort of bond even...
She couldn't help but keep taking off her gloves, and with one of her nails, making little cuts on her other hand. It was a habit of her's when she was nervous on the inside, but couldn't express it. She watched as once the blood would begin to dot along the scrape, it would fade away to nothing. It was a familiar sight to her, but still caused her great disturbance. Looking up, she realized that she may soon be falling behind far enough for the others to notice. Picking up speed, she neared Jiang and Guy, catching on to a bit of their conversation. Jiang's comments caught her attention. Just how strong could their magic be...? She thought to herself, as she scrapped herself one last time, and glanced down to see the blood fade. Codename: Blue Age: 21 Gender: Female Weapons: Zero Point Energy Pistol. .55 Calibers. Description: Kara is a very swift and agile woman, which has been useful to her many times. She is nearly the spitting image of her father, Brian Winchester, who has just recently retired as a mercenary. Her skin tone could be considered average, not pale, but not exactly tan either. Brown freckles dot the bridge of her nose and across her cheeks, underneath her eyes, just as her father's did when he was much younger. Her eyes are as dark of a shade of brown as they can get, while her wavy, chestnut brown hair falls about her shoulders. As far as personality goes, Kara is 100% woman. She is only confrontational when she has to be. Otherwise, she prefers to use her wit and intelligence to weave her way through situations. However, she is not afraid to get her hands dirty when necessicary. History: Kara's father, Brian Winchester, and her older brother Patrick, who would have been nearly thirty by now, have been a part of the mercenaries nearly her entire life. Patrick, however, went missing mysteriously, only to show up dead months later, just shortly before their father's retirement. No one has been able to figure out wether or not it was duty related... It was Kara's intelligence that ruined the secret. She always had a knack for books and computers and was even able to skip a few grades, thus, graduating from a university by the age of 20. At a very young age, she could figure almost everything about every electronic device placed before her. Therefore, it wasn't long before she knew the computer inside and out. It was then, that she accidentally divulged into her father and brother's secret, making her life never the same again. It was too dangerous for Kara to know the information, so Brian had no choice but to train her a bit, especially in hand to hand combat. As she got older and began to power through high school, it was then that the mercenaries displayed a wholesome interest in her. Kara kept turning them down however, until the incident of her brother's disappearance and death. Then, despite her father's wishes, Kara accepted the invitation with open arms, in order to continue her brother's work and has been part of the team for a few months now. The outfit's good...the pose is good...but there's something about the way the head is positioned that bothers me a bit...that could be fixed by working on the neck a little more, like True pointed out, and may lead to you adjusting the shoulders a bit...**shrugs** I dunno...I suck ass at giving critiques...and how I would suggest you go about adjusting things...I haven't the slightest. I'm kinda a trial and error artist myself, so...

Anywho...my graduation is tomorrow morning actually. **shrugs** Otherwise, I've already mentioned what I'll be doing this summer. 2 part-time jobs...that way I can get more hours and pay and stuff. One will be temporary. The other, I got a call from Borders...over the summer I'll be at the one up in the mall, and come fall I'll be in the one downtown cuz it's closer to school. Other than that...not exactly sure. I've just been kinda 'there' lately.

I've never had wisdom teeth removed, but going to the dentist used to be freaky experiences for me. Nothing like having someone use all sorts of drills on you when out of the corner of your eye, you can see a pint of blood hanging off to the side in case I lost too much blood. (I've actually needed it, but only like 3 times and those were when I was really little)

I could go on and on about many things, but meh. No one pays any attention to me anyways. XD
One thing I was okay with though, was the gore. There wasn't too much (Scary movies lately seem to play off on the gore much more than they should. Our own imagination is what scares us the most, but when we see everything right there, we can't imagine things.) But there was enough to scare ya a bit. That was about the only thing I liked about the movie. Now, this is purely personal opinion here though, and I can't use this opinion to really put the movie down, but I don't like the kid they got to play Damien. I didn't find him to be creepy at all. Personally, I thought he was the prettiest little boy I've ever seen. He had absolutely gorgeous eyes! I mean I know the whole creepy part about it was that he was supposed to look like this innocent little boy and all..but I dunno...he was too pretty.  (restricted) |

I wanna be a director...possibly a producer too, but they handle more of the business aspects of the film. I want to make a film. I want to create those kickass things that has the power to stimulate the imagination. I know I know, people say books stimulate the imagination far more than a movie. It gives you a change to envision your own thing even with their descriptions....but films are still...kickass. I didn't "Decide"(I am well aware that there is a possibility of change) to become a director until about the 5th grade though. Before then I always knew I wanted to work with movies though. Stunt double(Yes I seriously thought about it), director, actress, director, special effects artist, director, editor, director...Directing crossed my mind more than anything else has.  So yeah...then I realized, cuz you know, when you're little, you're just like "Cool!" when you're beginning to get into something, but more learning opportunities came about come 3rd-5th grade and then I realized that in directing, you don't just sit there in a chair and say "Action!" or "Cut!" You work with the people. You oversee all aspects of the film. You work alongside the actors, special effects artists, editors, set designers, composer...all sorts of things. Even though there are people who specialize in specific things, you have your hand in a little bit of everything as a director.
This is something that I happen to be passionate about a bit...it may change a little, it may change a lot, but this is what I think and feel now. I don't want to become famous though. Never did. Well...not once I realized that someday, way down the line, I want a family and stuff, and I want to raise my kids, together with my husband, not have some nanny or whatever do it. **shrugs** (Last edited by Katana on 06-15-06 08:16 PM)

I don't care too much for flying to be honest. I can take a lot, but being nautious is one thing I guess I'm a bit of a sissy about. Okay...maybe more than a bit. XD I seriously can't take being nautious though...it really kicks my ass...but that and being bored are the only things that I didn't like about flying. I like looking out the window, I like the traveling aspect of it, I like seeing the other airports and whatnot...though so far Philadelphia's airport is the largest I've been in. It's one of the largest in the country actually...not THE largest though....so those are places I'd definitely like to travel to...even if it's just to marvel at the airports. XD

As for the ear popping stuff...I usually have problems with my ears too...they never popped once while I was on a plane. I even tried making them pop...nothing. Yet when I drive through mountains, my ears pop like crazy...**shrugs** | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
