Natalie signed as she followed John, not knowing what had happened when outside the room she had entered.

She didn't speak however. Nor could she look at John. She had no idea how to explain anything to him... Reaching into her pocket, Natalie discovered a napkin. She took it out and started tearing small pieces off of it. It was a bad habbit of hers whenever she was nervous or simply knew she had to say something, without knowing what to say. She took a deep breath and finally brought her eyes up to John's. "I...I came out of it." She says finally, her voice shaking a bit. "My mother and I...we...we were attacked by those shaddow beings before I got here." She paused. "And...well...I don't understand the rest, to tell you the truth. All I know is I arrived here alone." She turned her head back down to the floor. Her hair fell into her face, but she didn't even bother moving it. The pieces of napkin were now fluttering to the floor, but she made no attempt to stop. "I can't get her screams out of my head...I'm trying to be the happy one here. I mean, we're all in the same boat and...oh who am I kidding, John?" She looked up again, but only briefly. Tears were now rolling down her cheeks. "I came out of it without a scratch. Completely unharmed...I didn't see what happened....but I heard her. That woman was too stubborn to go down without a fight..." She stopped talking for a moment and wiped the tears from her eyes gently with her index finger. "I don't know if croma has anything to do with that...maybe I'm just lucky...and I'm not sure if croma has anything to do with the odd feeling I wake up with every morning." She laughed. "Hell, it could be guilt. I wake up guilty over the fact that I see another day and so many others don't..."

Oh, and I will also be posting another character, but I'll just put that one up in the thread...(I'm going to ask that you guys copy and paste your character information in your first post there too.) But anywho...my other charrie will be the head of the ministry or something like that. And on another note...I've been watching more of the show and it has A LOT of religious stuffers to it. So I'm going to change that around a bit just because not everyone is of the same religion here...and hell, I know people of the same religion don't always agree on things, so yeah...staying away from that stuff. I'll just keep it to more "supernatural" stuff, like ghosts, vampires, werewolves...that kind of stuff.

As John grabbed her hands, Natalie sharply lifted her head so that she could face him. She listened intently as he explained to her what had happened to him but when he hugged her, her reflex was to pull away. Her pride had caught up with her for some reason. It wasn't often she let people hug her. Hell, Natalie seldomly cried in front of people as well.

She relaxed and rested her head on his shoulder for a moment and returned the hug. "I know it will end up for the better." She whispered. "Thank you John." She then pulled herself away and placed both of her hands on his shoulders. "Tell no one about my little display just now...you hear me?" She said, looking him directly in the eyes. Reverting back to her usual self, Natalie took a few steps back and looked around the room. When she spotted what she was looking for, the trashcan in the far corner of the room, she walked over to it and dropped the remainder of the napkin she still clutched in her hand into it. So, just to hold on to the hope that more people will join, I'd still like for this to start off a bit slow. Like getting all of our charries to meet and whatnot, and introduce the charries personalities and such. I made one more charrie, the head of the ministry. I just finished watching the actual anime today (only 4 discs ) and I just fell in love with most of the charries. So I designed this guy a bit after both the boss dude on the show, AND after the dude (I forget his name too  ) who was the secretary for the ministry.
Name: Alexander Nequam Age: True age unknown; Appears to be in late 30's to early 40's Position: Head of the Ministry of Hades. He is the one who ultimately decides who is partnered with whom and decides who will be sent to handle each case. Appearance: Olive green eyes and black hair that's a but long in the front and hangs in his face. Alexander is a man of average build and stands at about 5"9. He wears a black business suit, just like many other ministry staff members. History: Hardly anything is known about this man as his past is shrouded in mystery. He was part of the ministry the longest, with the exception of Serin. No one is exactly sure how he even got the position he is in. As of most things that are unknown, rumors seem to fly around about the man. No one knows his true power and many even ponder at whether or not this is even his true form. Personality: Alexander is a very jovial, laid back type of person, with a sweet tooth like no other. On the outside, it appears that there isn't much this man takes seriously, as he's always making light of many situations. However, when backed into a corner or when one of the ministry members are in serious danger, his happy-go-lucky demeanor can quickly revert to that of utterly terrifying. He cares deeply for the other members and makes it a point to share a close friendship with them.

I am basing this RP off of this really kickass anime that I stumbled across. That link above is a link to some information on the anime for anyone interested. Feel free to PM me, should you have any ideas or questions on this, as I'm open to about anything for this. Anywho...in this story Hades is simply a place where people go when they die. It's not heaven or hell. Whatever happens when people go there isn't really relevant, unless someone wishes it to be. Story: There is a group called "The Ministry of Hades", which is an organization that handles supernatural cases in the natural world. They send out orperatives (in pairs) to work on these cases. Each pair must share a special and close bond. All characters that are part of the ministry are dead. However, they still seem human. They eat, sleep, bleed...still feel as though they were alive. Each character also has special abilities. Each one can transform into a ghost form (simply turning invisible, able to move through things, and go undetected by the human world). They also all have their own abilities, some may include some extreme form of martial arts, magic, summoning dieties, extra sensory abilities...(We all can sense things, but have our limits). Cases: In the beginning, each pair will be working on their own case. We all still may know one another, however, and interact with each other throughout the story. Eventually though, we will all be working together to stop the same evil force. (However, I'll be postponing assigning the cases until the members get a chance to join and introduce their characters) I'm not assigning any specific cases until I get those who have already signed up here, and hopefully some new participants and all of the pairs are made. (I've made pairs already with those that have already joined in my discussion thread) I want everyone to have a say in what goes on here, so you can PM me if you have any specific ideas with something you'd like to work on. Otherwise, I'll make something up for you to work with. These cases are just issues dealing with the supernatural world that have crossed over to the human world and pose a threat to the humans. So basically we're all like a sort of police force. In these cases, it could be anything. We could be dealing with a force that really is evil...but some of the cases will simply be something gone astray in the supernatural world. There is one evil force behind it all though. Whether your case deals with some kind of "badguy" or not though, it is all being manipulated by the main villan. Then eventually we all need to come together to stop this villan, blah blah blah...:p The reason for this, is that those of us who are the operatives, we're supposed to be elite and are the only thing standing in this "bad guy's" way. Characters: Each participant can be multiple characters (limit is two though, unless I don't feel we have enough people playing, then some may have more.) The catch is...only ONE of your characters (if any) can be an operative. The other character needs to be someone else, such as a member of the ministry(the head of the ministry, secretary...any other position that someone can come up with), a villan of some sort, of something involved in the cases. I already have the main villan sorted out (that player is still permitted to have another character, but not an operative). Remember, if you are part of the ministry, you are dead. Those part of the cases can be either or. You could be a human who was manipulated into being involved by something. **shrugs** and the main villan is also dead but "human-like" just like the rest of the ministry. When people start submitting characters, I would like the usual, age(nothing extremely young please...16 and up I would ask **Teehee, I know I usually don't like playing "adults" myself since I'm in no rush to grow up, so I'll allow other people who feel the same to be satisfied**), gender, name, appearance, and possibly some background on your life, how you died, how long you've been in the ministry(eg: one of the main charries in the anime is like 26, but has been dead for 70 years...you could also be new as well.) I already have the pairs set up for people so far: Sagin and Cairoi Jobes and Seticus Shuyin and Clockworkz Xeios and Katana The characters are NOT locked, and at this point, you do NOT have to post in the discussion thread in order to join. I just ask that you post the information that I asked for about your characters and introduce them in your first post. For those of you who have already posted in the discussion thread, I just ask that you copy and paste your information from there into here. Thank you.

Alexander smiled as the two men walked into his office, paying no mind to Jack's outbursts. He rose from his seat, and sauntered over to Sajin. He quickly snatched the cigar out of his hand. "Don't you know those things could kill ya?" He said, grinning slyly. He then walked back over to his desk, dropped the cigar into his own ash tray and put it out. Alexander sat back down in his seat and leaned forward at his desk. He folded his hands, rested his chin on them and looked at the two intently.

"Now then..." He stopped to think for a moment. A smile spread across his lips. "Leon, you may join in ths conversation as well." Alexander mused. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Name: Kira Mialyn Age: Appears to be 18 (Dead for 10 years) Appearance: Fair skin, hazel eyes, and waist-length, poker straight light brown hair. Being as neither of her parents were very tall, she too was smaller in stature, standing at about 5 feet tall. During her life, Kira's choice in clothing was simple yet elegant at times. On the night in which she was killed, she wore a pair of kneehigh black leather boots, along with a short black skirt that ended just an inch or two above her knees, and a white longsleeved blouse. History: A musical prodigy. Her mother always swore, that even as a toddler, the girl had an ear for music. As she got older, just before entering Kindergarten, her parents sent her to take voice lessons and a few months later, she discovered an interest in the violin. The summer before entering first grade, her mother had her in lessons for that as well. She was an only child born into a wealthy British family, living in London, England. Therefore, with no other children around, her parents had the time and money to use to dote upon her musical endeavors. Her childhood was a very pleasant one indeed. Unlike the sterio-typical wealthy families elsewhere, Kira's loved her very dearly and was a major part in her life, rather than hiring maids and nannies to take care of her constantly. They also taught her many valuable lessons. Not everything was handed to her upon a silver platter and they constantly explained to her that they had to work hard and earned everything that they had. Kira never had many friends growing up. Even when her parents sent her off to school, she could never fit in with her classmates. Due to this, she became so absorbed in her violin that it seemed to be the only thing she did. As she grew, she became a timid, shy, and introverted girl...with the exception of when she played her instrument.Then, she didn't care who was listening and how many people. Playing was her passion, and nothing could take that away from her. This, without her realizing it, earned herself quite a name by high school. She played at all of the concerts her school held and caught the eye of many people searching for talent to recruit to their causes. Just before she graduated, a man pulled Kira aside and offered herself a position that would change everything. She was invited to play at a concert, among the professionals. However, due to her childhood, the girl was as naive as she was skilled at her instrument. He gave her information to where the concert was being held. Kira was a little suspicious of it not being in London's main theater, but her excitement overpowered her initial gut feeling. The date was set for that Saturday night, only two days away. With her mother and father being on a short vacation over the week and not due to return until the following week, she had no one that would go with her. Finally, Saturday night came around. With the paper in one hand, and her instrument in the other, she got on the double decker bus and made her way to the concert. After a while, she noticed the neighborhood changing as the bus went further and further. She checked the directions again and knew she didn't pass the street that she was supposed to get off the bus at. The rundown buildings and intoxicated people walking the streets unnerved her to the point where she began feeling sick to her stomach. After a few more minutes had gone by, she finally saw her stop. As the bus stopped and she got off, something really didn't feel right. Part of her wanted to get on another bus to take her back home. Why she didn't do just that, she'll never know. Maybe it really was her time...looking at the paper in her hand, she walked down the block a bit and turned the corner. Just as she did, she saw the man who had spoke to her before, along with a few others. He wasn't dressed up like he was at her school concert, nor was he dressed appropriately for a concert. It was that moment that she finally got her wits about her. She dropped her instrument and the paper and turned to run. Unfortunately, she made it halfway down the block before one of the men caught up to her and was wrestling her toward the car. She let out a scream, but was quickly silenced as the car door slammed shut... The next thing she knew, Kira found herself in Hades and summoned for by the ministry. Most likely due to her musical talents in life, the ministey commended her on her extra sensory abilities, even for someone who is now dead. After putting much thought into it, Kira decided to take up on the ministry's offer and joined them. As far as her death is concerned, Kira can remember everything up until the point she entered the car... Kira's boots clicked softly against the hard surface of the floor as she walked down the hall. Even though she had already been deceased for ten years, she was still fairly new to the place. It took the ministry a while to even offer her a job here and Kira herself took some time in deciding. Pushing a long strand of hair out of her eyes, she peered up at the top of the doors to check the room numbers. "Hmmm...I should be getting close..." After a few more moments, she arrived at the room she was told to report to. She was growing weary of the building and was not paying attention. As she went to go knock on the door, she bumped into a man standing just outside of it. "Oh...Sorry about that..." She mumbled as she was taken back a step or two. When they all had prepared for bed, Natalie rushed back to her quarters to snag a blanket and slept in a corner in the garage. Rising to her feet, she brushed herself off and ran her fingers through her hair. "Alright, I'm ready." Was all she said as she made her way to the car and got in the front seat. Whether she was a morning person or not, depended. Natalie would be chipper when she woke up early on her own. Otherwise, it didn't matter how late or early, she was usualluy on the cranky side when woken by something else. "Where are the keys?"

BIC: Kira looked up at Leon and smiled. "Thank you sir." She replied as she brushed past him and entered the office. She looked about to see a few people already in there. "Welcome. Welcome!" the man behind the desk bellowed as she and Leon entered. She ducked out of the way just in time as a projectile flew over her head. Alexander dismissed the fact that Leon caught the paper ball he had thrown, rather than get hit with it. "As for your partner...open up the paper and read." He said. He gestured over toward the vacant seats. "Please, sit dow--Seren!" Alexander's sentence was cut off by yet another bellowed greeting. He was grinning from ear to ear when she entered and when she sat down, he was about to speak again when he was cut off by another ministry member bursting into the room. "Ah, Steven..." He paused. "As for your partner, we'll have one for you, so no worries about that." He said matter-of-factly. As Sajin made a comment about her age, all the could do in response was nod and shrug her shoulders as she made her way over to the empty chair. Then, a pretty woman with beautiful long hair soon followed into the office. Kira couldn't help but throw her hands to her mouth to stifle her laughter as Seren gave Sajin a hard time. Soon after, another man cane into the room. Kira's eyes scanned the room. There was the two men in there before her, the head of the ministry, the secretary, the man she bumped into at the door, and now this new person. As she continued to survey the room, Kira nearly jumped out of her skin. There in the corner, she spotted yet another person. Seeing him there suddenly gave her a bit of a startle. Alex turned toward Sajin and John, but Sajin had already gotten up and left. "No matter..." Alex said. "I'm sure you'll be filling him in. Now...about this job..." Alexander leaned forward in his desk. He leaned his elbows on the desk and folded his hands before resting his chin on them and looking intently at John.

Alexander was about to brief John on the mission when Sajin made his return. A sly smile spread across his lips. He knew it would drive John nuts if he was made to wait. "Good to see you were quick, Sajin...I was just about to explain your next mission."

"Why hello Akira!" Alexander exclaimed, suddenly distracted from explaining things to John and Sajin. He looked over at Steven and smiled. "And here he is. See? I told you not to worry!" Kira looked up as the boy walked into the office. She smiled and nodded her head toward him as a greeting. For a second, she was relieved that there was another "young one" there, as Sajin put it moments ago. Then, she realized how sad it was that such a young person was standing amongst them. As Steven greeted him, she did a double take. When he first walked in, she assumed that it was another girl. Now, she found herself taking a better look after Steven's greeting. 'That must be Steven's partner...' she thought to herself. 'So let's see...I'm guessing the tall one and that other man that was sitting with him are partners...' She glanced about the room, trying to deduct who her partner may be. 'Then there's the man standing in the corner...and Leon.' Kira had not yet spotted Jobes in the doorway and was unsure of whether the man hiding in the corner was going to need a partner. She looked up at Leon and suddenly remembered his comment about his last partner. '...and he may or may not be partnered with someone already...' Kira wondered who her partner would be, but didn't dare ask. She merely sat up straight in her seat, in the same posture she held when she was playing her violin. She folded her hands and placed them gingerly on her lap as she listened patiently to the conversation. Something caught Alexander's eye from the doorway. Kira gawked at John, her suprise written all over her face. 'Is he even supposed to know that much?' she pondered to herself. Slowly she moved a piece of hair from her eyes, listening to the conversations going on. She was growing weary and bored of just sitting there. She was still a bit new here and was being given her first partner and quite possibly sent on her first mission. At least that's what she assumed she was in that office today. She took notice to Alexander announcing that The man in the corner and the new guy, whom she had just took notice to his presence, were partners. She looked over at Leon. Remembering what he said about his last partner, she was skeptical of whether or not she would hope to be his partner.

Alexander smiled at John. He reclined back in his chair and clapped. He looked over at Seren and gently nudged her with his elbow. "You hear that?" He announced with a chuckle. "This boy is out for your job." He added with a wink. "That would be correct. Matsushiro is posing as a danger to the living. He obviously isn't offering that sort of thing without a price, I'm sure of it."
