| A friend of mine has On Demand and we've checked out the anime on it. It's alright. Though I did fall in love with a series "Descendants of Darkness". I've only seen 3 episodes of it so far though. I keep hearing that it leaves out sooooo much and that the manga is WAY better, but whatever, the anime is still okay.
I also watched "The Getbackers" on On Demand. I really like that one too, considering I've only seen very few episodes of that as well. Like Sion, dubs never bother me. Sure, I can see differences, like when I watch the dubbed version of Sailor Moon and the Japanese version of it. There's a BIG difference. Teehee. But I still won't deny the fact that I love the series, dubbed or not. Though I guess I feel the same about Naruto as you guys. I've only seen the dubbed version of Naruto, and quite frankly, I think the show sucks. I'd still give it a chance if I got the opportunity to see the Japanese version or read the manga or something, but from what was available to me of the show...yeah...sucks. |

| Natalie, who was already waiting for John to answer a question she had asked, glared at him.
"What the hell is the matter with you?!" She exclaimed. She knelt down beside him, fuming a bit at his outburst, but held her tongue. She waited before she said anything and took in a deep breath. After holding it for a few seconds she allowed it to escape. "What exactly do you want done here? Two of us had already gone out and done something." She said softly, making reference to Wiley, who had already entered the garage. "Now if you would like, I'll check out the oil on this baby and make sure we have enough to take with us. If we don't, then I'll go and fetch some. Otherwise, I know jack shit about cars other than how to drive 'em." |

| Yeah, I've seen threads about school a lot, such as what kind of classes do people take, schedules, or something like that.
Well, I just wanna know, what is your school/work like? Is it a place you like to be? Is it a large building? Small? **shrugs** Little details like that. I personally like my school, except for last week, when I was on crutches. It just seems sooooo much bigger when you have to cart your butt around like that. :p It's a pretty big building though, with three floors. It's rectangular shaped, with the front and back hallways being the longer ones and the side halls being about half the other two(?) The third floor is a bit different though. The first two connect all the way around, but the third floor is separated. I know I'm mostlikely not making sense here, so I'll just try and find a picture of it another time. Or maybe Xeios will post one. 
As far as the faculty is concerned...I have only had one teacher that I couldn't stand. The others I really liked. There are also a lot of people that even though I haven't had them as teachers(Some of them are staff, so they aren't teachers anyway), but I still love them anyway. Though I bitch about school just like any other kid, I actually like my school a lot too. So yeah...more I could say, I just won't right now. :p |

Natalie didn't even bother waiting for John to reply. She got up and followed Leon to give him a hand. If John would take up on her offer, she knew he would say something, so until then, she decided to do something else. When she saw the metal bending in Leon's hands like that, Natalie stopped dead in her tracks and gasped. "How the hell....?" Her voice drifted off in mid question as she looked up at Leon in shock. |

Natalie could hear John talking to her, but it took a little while for the words to come together. She just couldn't take her eyes off of that piece of metal in Leon's hand. A few minutes had gone by before she was actually able to pull herself out of her stupor. She turned around and made her way back toward John.

First the little fox...and now metal bending in the boy's hand... She thought to herself as she drug herself over toward the truck. "I'm still having difficulties processing all of this..." She told John, with a sigh. "But after what I saw with those vile shadow creatures, I sure as hell believe it...may not understand exactly, but heh..." Her voice trailed off once again, but she quickly pulled herself back together. "So the oil's fine for now...and you said you have oil to fill it with when it gets low...but do you have the supplies needed to change the oil, in case it needs to be done?" She paused. "The only reason why I'm so fixed on the oil is, if something goes wrong with that, then there goes our engine. Oil is the simplest thing to take care of, but causes the most problems if it isn't taken care of."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Name: Kira Mialyn Age: Appears to be 18 (Dead for 10 years) Appearance: Fair skin, hazel eyes, and waist-length, poker straight light brown hair. Being as neither of her parents were very tall, she too was smaller in stature, standing at about 5 feet tall. During her life, Kira's choice in clothing was simple yet elegant at times. On the night in which she was killed, she wore a pair of kneehigh black leather boots, along with a short black skirt that ended just an inch or two above her knees, and a white longsleeved blouse. History: A musical prodigy. Her mother always swore, that even as a toddler, the girl had an ear for music. As she got older, just before entering Kindergarten, her parents sent her to take voice lessons and a few months later, she discovered an interest in the violin. The summer before entering first grade, her mother had her in lessons for that as well. She was an only child born into a wealthy British family, living in London, England. Therefore, with no other children around, her parents had the time and money to use to dote upon her musical endeavors. Her childhood was a very pleasant one indeed. Unlike the sterio-typical wealthy families elsewhere, Kira's loved her very dearly and was a major part in her life, rather than hiring maids and nannies to take care of her constantly. They also taught her many valuable lessons. Not everything was handed to her upon a silver platter and they constantly explained to her that they had to work hard and earned everything that they had. Kira never had many friends growing up. Even when her parents sent her off to school, she could never fit in with her classmates. Due to this, she became so absorbed in her violin that it seemed to be the only thing she did. As she grew, she became a timid, shy, and introverted girl...with the exception of when she played her instrument.Then, she didn't care who was listening and how many people. Playing was her passion, and nothing could take that away from her. This, without her realizing it, earned herself quite a name by high school. She played at all of the concerts her school held and caught the eye of many people searching for talent to recruit to their causes. Just before she graduated, a man pulled Kira aside and offered herself a position that would change everything. She was invited to play at a concert, among the professionals. However, due to her childhood, the girl was as naive as she was skilled at her instrument. He gave her information to where the concert was being held. Kira was a little suspicious of it not being in London's main theater, but her excitement overpowered her initial gut feeling. The date was set for that Saturday night, only two days away. With her mother and father being on a short vacation over the week and not due to return until the following week, she had no one that would go with her. Finally, Saturday night came around. With the paper in one hand, and her instrument in the other, she got on the double decker bus and made her way to the concert. After a while, she noticed the neighborhood changing as the bus went further and further. She checked the directions again and knew she didn't pass the street that she was supposed to get off the bus at. The rundown buildings and intoxicated people walking the streets unnerved her to the point where she began feeling sick to her stomach. After a few more minutes had gone by, she finally saw her stop. As the bus stopped and she got off, something really didn't feel right. Part of her wanted to get on another bus to take her back home. Why she didn't do just that, she'll never know. Maybe it really was her time...looking at the paper in her hand, she walked down the block a bit and turned the corner. Just as she did, she saw the man who had spoke to her before, along with a few others. He wasn't dressed up like he was at her school concert, nor was he dressed appropriately for a concert. It was that moment that she finally got her wits about her. She dropped her instrument and the paper and turned to run. Unfortunately, she made it halfway down the block before one of the men caught up to her and was wrestling her toward the car. She let out a scream, but was quickly silenced as the car door slammed shut... The next thing she knew, Kira found herself in Hades and summoned for by the ministry. Most likely due to her musical talents in life, the ministey commended her on her extra sensory abilities, even for someone who is now dead. After putting much thought into it, Kira decided to take up on the ministry's offer and joined them. As far as her death is concerned, Kira can remember everything up until the point she entered the car...

Jake had burst into the garage pracitcally in hysterics just as she was about to introduce herself to Kaylee. She wasn't sure what to do. There were already two people there by his side. From the little she knew about him from before, he seemed to be an individual with a lot of pride, she was afraid that if she too went over, she may just make things worse. |

Natalie kept her attention on Jake the entire time, but couldn't help but keep her eyes low to the ground and flinching every time he punched the wall. Deserting her previous thoughts, she made her way over to Jake.

She stopped and knelt down beside him. As he was petting Kirabo, she took hold of his metal hand, placing one hand underneath his, and movind a strand of her hair out of her eyes with her other before placing it on top. "It's going to be alright." She said, looking him directly in the eyes. "I don't know how to support that statement, but I just know it's true." She offered him a smile. It was a bit weak, but a smile nonetheless. She then released his hand and before standing up again, she reached over and patted Kirabo on the head. "John..." She paused. "Or Jack is it now?" She added with a smile. "...I'd like to stay here while you train him, if that's alright. I believe in this chroma stuff, but I still don't quite understand it, and I would really like to..." Her voice drifted off. She knew what his answer would be, but decided to ask him anyway.

Natalie had already moved away before she could notice Jake blush. Her attention was directed back to John. She merely shruged. She was a bit taken aback that he said the could stay though. When he mentioned it before, it sounded like it was important for no one else to be around.

"No one said I had chroma like you guys." She stopped and stuck her tongue out at John. "I'm just along for the ride now. I still would like to understand how it works however...so..." She paused. "Thank you!" She exclaimed happily, for lack of something better to say. She glanced at the door where Leon made his exit. She chose not to say anything about his sudden outburst though. He'll come back when he feels better she assured herself.

So with the pairs so far... Sagin and Cairoi and I've decided to pair Jobes and Seticus. I know we haven't heard from Jobes in a while, but I see him in school, so I can intimidate him into popping up here to let us know he's still alive.

Stop trying to get further than "second base". (I'm not criticizing you for the way you're putting that or anything. I'm sure it was to avoid saying something graphic.) But seriously, she'll let you know when she's ready. And that could be why she's acting a bit indifferent toward you too. But my concern is the whole her freaking out over you two doing stuffers. Like, she could be afraid to for numerous reasons...you never know, she could be really insecure, more than she lets on if she doesn't really show it in front of you. So trying to convince her to do those kind of things could REALLY upset her, ya know? **shrugs** I'm sure your intentions aren't bad. Otherwise you wouldn't say you loved her, even if it was only a case of thinking you are...Hope I made sense here...and I hope things work out for the better!
And besides, these "great friends"...if they are your real friends, you'll stay friends with them.

She paused and then spoke to John, but was sure that every else in the room could hear too. "I know you're anxious to leave as soon as possible, but if no one feels they are up to par just yet, don't you think it would be wise to take the time so we could make sure we're okay out there? We need to be able to know we can handle what's out there...not go into this hoping we can."

Natalie looked from John to Leon, shooting glares at the both of them, for the moment, ignoring Jake's display of croma.

"That's enough John." She said, her tone low yet stern. She then placed a hand on John's shoulder to prevent him from doing anything as Leon responded to him. However, her eyes remained on Leon. "You'd better not even think about taking up on his silly little challenge." She says in response to his last comment. She stepped foreward and stood at a distance from them both, yet between them. She looked to the ground and shook her head. "If you would like to continue this battle you two have going on who's is bigger, then I suggest you either take care of this later when we're all done with this..." Natalie paused and looked from one to the other, locking eyes with each one as she did so. "...or when we're dead. Then I'm sure you will have all of eternity to work this out." Even though it seemed like they would leave each other alone for the moment, due to Leon's recent actions, she wanted to make it clear that she wished it would end permanetly. Natalie didn't even realize at first that she was giving a lecture on how to act to two men. She had spent too much time taking care of her family before this disaster and instinct just came in. She felt as though she were separating her mother and father from their childish bickering once again. Then suddenly, it hit her. Mom....Dad.... she thought to herself. Then, at the thought of her father, tears of anger began building up in her eyes. That bastard...he said that he'd bring the kids here... She didn't need to wipe her eyes to hide her sudden surge of emotion. She merely blinked a few times and the tears had dried before they even rolled down her cheeks. She looked at John, afraid that he may wish to say something else to start things up again. "Alright?"
