| Yeah, I was listening to some of their Metallica covers and they're just amazing! Though I like their other stuff better. Prolly cuz I've never payed too much attention to Metallica.
And to be honest Ryan, I'd think Sierra would like them a lot and am not suprised she hunted down the CD's.  |

| Spy, I don't think I've ever talked about music with you without hearing Metallica brought up. :p
But Hobo, lots of these are kickass suggestions. As for the GNR and Velvet Revolver thing...Velvet Revolver isn't all that bad, but ehh. And I'm gonna keep bugging you to check out Queen until I hear from you just how kickass you think they are!!! 
And I may have missed it, but I don't think anyone has mentioned ELO (Electric Light Orchestra). They rock. Nuff said. |

| Due to the amount of sun shining over the arena, a glare caught on Alex's sword, shinning directly into Katana's eye. In reaction to the sudden shine in her eyes, she did not fully execute the blow. Instead, out of reflex, she pulled her arm back and over her eye as she stepped aside and then turned to face in Alex's direction.
She gasped when she saw what had happened to his sword. She didn't know what to make of it. Her right arm flinched toward her right hip, but she stopped herself, deciding that she would hold off on using her sword for a while still. Her black cloak concealed her sword, but she knew that if Alex saw her reaction just now, that he now knew her secret. Instead, she simply brushed the grass blades that found themselves on her brown skirt. When she was done, she simply looked at Alex. "Your turn, my friend." | Slightly alarmed but not showing it, Fallon looked up at the other newcommer. She smiled and walked over to both men, offering her hand to whoever took upon the shake first.
"The name's Blue." she repeated. She looked around to see if there were anyone else nearby. When she could see no one, she sighed. Blue had hoped that she would meet everyone all at once, that way she could get the introductions over with right off the bat and not have to speak much more after that. Before anyone had responded to her, a flicker caught her eye and her attention was diverted completely from the two strangers to an enormous skyscraper. |

| Name: Kira Mialyn
Occupation: A Bartender at Black Horse Pub Race: Her mother was an elf and her father was a human (Teehee, so LOTR Chaos Boy **giggles**) Kira glanced about the bar from behind the counter. This was her first day on the job and she was a bit uneasy. She sighed as she remembered the conversation she had with her father only days prior to this... He got caught up in one of the battles between the two kingdoms and was hurt badly. Kira had tried her damndest to convince the man to even allow her to go out and look for some work. Her entire life it was just the two of them. While he worked, she stayed home to take care of things. Each task was as important as the other and things were working quite well with just the two of them. However, with his injury, there was no one else but her to take care of things. Then, when this was the first place that accepted her. Being as they were in such dire need, she took it right away. When she went to her father with the news, he nearly died of heart attack. However, she managed to convince the man that she had finally turned 18 and was not a little girl anymore. Now, as stood there scanning the place with her hazel eyes, her own self confidence diminished quickly. Slowly, she took in a deep breath, moving a long strand of burgandy colored hair out of her pale face. Being a child of a human father and an elven mother, growing up she felt quite awkward with herself. Now, everything seemed to blend in smoothly together. The color of her hair and eyes were that of her fathers, and her ears even remained human-like. However, her father never forgot to remind her of how much she looked like her mother. She stood at a solid 5 feet tall, her skin complexion matched her mother's exactly, and the shape of her eyes and type of hair made her father swear that her mother had them cloned. I can do this. Kira thought to herself as she greeted a man who sat down in front of her by flashing a smile. "What can I get you, sir?" The man looked up at her with a puzzled expression on his face. He coughed. Kira smiled and ignored the look as she waited for him to make a decision. |

I've been hearing this all over the news for the past few days...it kinda sucks actually. I mean some could look at it and say "It's only two cents." But at the same time, it's the little things that are the killers. I mean think about it...$0.74 if you wanted 2 stamps...I need 2 stamps for each high school transfer I have sent out...and each transfer is 3 bucks...crap adds up.  |

Okay, I have three cats, two of them are okay, but my other one is really kickass, but she does some very odd yet interesting things. So, I was just wondering who else has pets here and would like to share some of the interesting stuff they do. 
My cat's name is Tabby and thinks she's a dog/squirrel. For one thing, the damned cat makes these insane jumps and leaps all over the house and most of the time she puffs out her tail when she does it. She's about 3, but the size of maybe a 6 month old kitten and a light gray and white. So when she's jumping around like that, all you see is this flash of gray with a really puffy tail jumping around. Kinda like a squirrel.
She's also pretty well trained and she learned fast. She sits, rolls over, fetches, speaks(meows), lays down, and even attacks...all on my command. I could go on and on about some of the crazy stuff she does. XD |

Kira turned to face him and smiled. "Well now sir, what sort of drink would you like?" She asked politely, in response to his question. |

At that request, Kira nodded to the boy before her and went to fetch his drink. When she returned, all that was in her hand was a glass of water. "It's the cheapest thing we've go-" Kira stopped dead in her sentence, paused, and sighed. She glanced about the bar and saw the boy leaning against a wall. She looked over at him, placed the glass down on the bar, put two fingers to her lips and whistled. Not too loudly, but just enough for to catch the boy's attention. She then directed her attention to the doorway to the newcommer. Kira walked over toward him and smiled. "What can I get you, sir?" |

| I don't think anyone could know the answer. As supportive as I am of science, I don't believe in some scientist telling me what I think and feel, so I really don't think there IS any facts on this subject. However, I don't think anyone's opinion could be wrong either. Like Cairoi said, emotions belong to the person feeling them.
Otherwise, I really have no opinion to offer here. Simply because I can honestly say that I don't think I've truly hated anyone. For simple reasons really. For one thing, I don't see hating someone as productive. I'm not saying that I'm always happy-go-lucky and people never piss me off, because that would be an outright lie. People piss me off...a lot. I just happen to see hate as something that will just build and build and cause more damage to yourself than anyone else really, and it just isn't worth it. **shrugs** So yeah, therefore, I don't think I can compare hate to love or indifference. |

| Well, I voted yes. Now, lemme attempt to explain this and make sense while doing it.
For one, I like labels as far as music from different cultures are concerned. It allows me to give credit to whatever culture that music came from and just helps with understanding what I'm listening to. Same with music we're familiar with in our own country, I guess. Like...music is music to me, yes, but...I'm a bit of an artistic person at heart and I like looking into things like music and art. Music is something that I truly love and I like so many different types that it would be difficult for me to try and keep up without categorizing them a bit. However, the thing concerned with labels that I totally disagree with, is when the labels on the music you listen to all of a sudden determine who YOU are. Grant it, music is a part of who I am, but I'm in control of that, not the labels on the music I listen to...if that makes any sense...but, that's a totally different topic of discussion I suppose. |

Well, as usual, it's my cat Tabby that I'm talking about. She's just really weird...But the other day, why she started doing this, I don't know, but I ha da song stuck in my head and was in the kitchen singing it while I did the dishes. Tabby walks in and every time I'd start singing, she attacked me. She never hurts me when I say she "attacks" me. She keeps her claws in and only bites over my jeans. Anyway, it was just odd cuz she never did that before. She used to jump in my lap and purr when I started singing, but this time...I was teasing her, I'd watch her walk out of the kitchen, through the dinning room and living room and would be about to go upstairs, I'd stay in the kitchen, start singing again, and she'd come running in and just kamikaze into my leg or something. Then she climbed up my jeans once, jumped up to my shoulder and thwaped me on the nose, then hopped down and walked outta the kitchen. O_o |

| Kira could hear the horses and before she could even react, the knights had already stormed in. Her hands flew to her mouth in horror as they gave everyone their sentence. Frantically, she looked about the pub. Kira hoped to be able to judge by people's reactions and see who was willing and able to fight, and who wasn't. The next thing she knew a table was kicked over and before she could take in a breath to gasp, that boy was no longer leaning against the wall but standing in front of her.
When he told her to take cover, she didn't protest. There was no time. Once again, her hazel eyes scanned the room quickly. Her eyes stopped, however, upon the man who was standing in the doorway just before the chaos that stormed into the bar. It was then that she noticed the walking stick in his posession. She tried to called out to him as she made her way toward him, but before Kira could utter a sound, her eyes widened in shock. She watched him for a second, enthralled in every one of his movements until she felt something grab hold of her hair. One of the knights grabbed hold of her long burgandy hair and tugged her closer to him, whiping her neck back in the process. Looking up, she could see his masked face. He seemed to be taking his time trying to kill her, so Kira took advantage of that. Rather than attack right away, she remained motionless, looking up at him with a fearful expression. She didn't move, waiting for the right moment to catch him off guard. When the knight began bringing his sword to her throat, that was when she made her move. Kira moved quickly and suddenly, in hopes of alarming the knight. She threw her arms up and grabbed hold of the arm in which the knight held the sword. Just as luck would have it, her sudden movement caused the knight to instinctively release hold of her hair and try and grab Kira's arms. It was at that moment that she put more pressure on his arm, bent over and thrusted her hip into the knight and fliped him over her. Her father had shown her a way to flip someone over you even if they're larger, provided she was able to balance herself well enough. Kira didn't wait there long enough for the knight to get back up however. Instead, she turned around and started running around the room, gathering those that weren't able to fight and leading them toward the back door where she hoped to try and get them to saftey. |

| As Alex jumped away from her, that was the first give away that something was comming. Those few seconds it took him to do so gave her plenty of time to prepare herself to move. As those orbs flew toward her, Katana flipped backwards to evade the attack. However, no matter how quickly she could move, a small portion of the time it took the orbs to sail toward her, was spent deciding to execute the move. She was able to move fast enough to avoid the blunt of the explosions, but didn't make it out of range completely.
The part that did hit Katana, knocked her about ten more feet away. When everything had calmed down, a good distance of grass was bent, showing just how far she slid across it. She hit the ground with a thud but after a second or two, slowly rose to her feet. Her entire body ached from the attack and a few cuts and bruises were already showing on her arms and legs. However, other than the few small cuts and bruises, Katana was able to maintain such a disposition that didn't allow Alex to see any other possible injuries she may have sustained. "I take it you're finished with the hand to hand combat?" Katana said with a chuckle. With that, she reached to the hilt of her sword and pulled it out from it's sheath. However, she made no move toward Alex. Instead she just stood there, maintaining a defensive position, gripping onto her sword as it began to glow a greenish color. |
