| Sooooo siiiiiiihihihihiiiiick.
And busy at the same time. I managed to get my hours down from a much needed 40, to 34 hours this week at work, so I could have extra time for rest. Basically instead of going right from school to work, I'm making time to run home and snag a 2 hour nap. Which is the closest to not being busy I am. Which means I'm working 5-11 Mon, Wednes, and Friday, and 9-5 Tuesday and Thursday. Plus school. Plus the homework. It's been worse, but I'm soooo siiiicccckkkkk...**whines** I'm literally using my little burst of energy here so I can get it out of my system, without doing something else that may need clean-up. At least I can just walk away from the computer when I'm ready and pass out on the couch. XD |

Yah. I died, actually. Almost. Step-dad has cancer. Near the last stage. Preparing to bury the second dad I've had in my life. Probably sounds dark, but the brightside is I was lucky enough to have someone else when the first died when I was 11.  YAY!!!
Enough mood killer. I don't "prefer" any result. I just made the guidelines. This part of experimentation is just to set guidelines and see what happens. Sometime next week I'll post the full extent to what we've had here.

| Haven't forgotten about this, guys. I'm actually reviewing as many little details as I can. I really like what I've found. When I point out the other things I was hoping to see, everyone is probably going to go "Ah. I kinda figured that." but it was still better to have that kind of reaction at the end, than outright saying it in the beginning. I'll explain soon. (I actually have off from school and work tomorrow. And this IS an actual assignment, so I'll have it done tomorrow sometime. ) |

| Foodstamps really isn't something to be ashamed of. I get them 4-6 months out of the year. I'm the only one in my family with a job. My pop works about 6 months out of the year in a seasonal job. So that's when I report that and stop collecting, because he actually makes pretty damn good money those few months. And everyone else is old, disabled, or my sisters just don't fucking work, and no one seems to wanna make them. So make sure you look into things like that. At your age, being on your own, it shouldn't be too difficult to get them.
As far as utilities go, if anyone has heard of deregulation, I actually work for an electric company, and I can save anyone from PA (4 other states too) 20%. If you're interested Phoenix, or even you Elara, let me know, cuz I really don't want to go all advertiz-ey, but my bill is significantly cheaper. It's how we survived last winter. Otherwise, get excited too! I hope the move is going smoothly, and do report back on how it went. |

And I'm going to say something that I never thought I would say: I'm more excited for the other teams than I am for the Flyers at the moment. Because of this, I can no longer say "Mike Richards" without bowing my head in sorrow and adding "may he rest in peace." That's seriously how I feel! You guys are dicks. | You know...I should probably pick up Demon's Souls again. I played it a little bit, and almost threw my contoler at the TV. I never try to harm my TV. So, it was bad.
BUT, GameStop is actually giving cool shit for reserves for certain games now. So, I went and reserved Dark Souls for PS3. I don't have a 360 yet. Waiting on that Star Wars one. Which sucks, cuz I want Battlefield 3 and CoD on the 360 instead, so I'd have to wait for those. Bastards. I think I'm finally ready to go back to Demon's Souls, and I'm hoping Dark Souls will be doable at some point in my life. |

Of all the complaints I can muster about my family and upbringing, I will ALWAYS stand by their genuine nature of acceptance. Racism and religious intolerance were among the many shockers to me when I hit high school.

| You guys helped me earn my first A of the semester.
I won't bore you with the actual 15 page research paper I composed regarding this subject, but I can say this, you guys helped soooo much. Seriously. I appreciate it. So, the part that I was keeping to myself until after the experiment. The reason why I was so particular about only counting those accounted for before we began was this: Anyone outside of that group was considered what our efforts spread to. The segment of the experiment that you all helped me conduct, failed in the technical sense, but passed the part I actually hoped it would. Passed with flying colors, actually. We had certain people, myself included, who pledged their 10 a day, and didn't make it. And not everyone who "signed up" per se, went ahead to account for those who did NOT make their pledged quota. Honestly...I expected that to happen, and if it didn't, the likelihood of some sort of miscalculation would have been pretty high. So, this "failure" is a good thing. It's actually what I wanted. What I was hoping to see here, more so than in any other aspect of the entire experiment, was the activity to spread. I wanted to see what would happen, within the parameters of the experiment, when a small few got excited and showed their excitement....and obviously it spread like wildfire. Early fall is typically a VERY busy time, lots of changes, school starting, jobs either getting busier due to the upcoming holidays, or slowing down due to any summer rush subsiding... I was able to find out a lot, generally, and I am liking what I'm seeing when I compare what I learned here with the other outlets of experimentation. Little caught up with other assignments, and other issues at the moment, but as soon as I can, I'll see about getting the completed work here so you all can see the bigger picture and how you related to it.
But in short, I wanted to see that people could have fun with what they do, that it WAS possible to get out of the mundane "I have to get up and *insert task here* today. Fml." And that "fun" was a factor in garnering general efficiency, and a strong one at that. And the results here regarding that are a bit stronger than other places. Here, the only "reward" honestly, was bragging rights. In other aspects, where actual monetary reward was given, however small, when the task wasn't as "fun" the end result still wasn't as great in comparison.

My gram is working on 10% of her heart, and could just "go" any second. My step-dad is in the latent stages of liver cancer, and the hilarious part about that is, it's the second father I've buried to the same sort of ailment. My older sisters are already trying to hose my mom on stupid shit. I have a headache because...well, I'm just not getting the right amount of oxygen to my brain. I'm in a little bit of heart failure...my lips are bluish, and I'm bloated...ankles and tummy. I keep getting these little palpitation thingies, and they're annoying as fuck, but I got one at work, passed out, and NOW I can't go back to work until I get this straightened out. So, being as I have no health insurance, I had to go to the ER, get these tests that I can't afford, and if they find something, I'll hopefully get some coverage...but until then, I can't go back to work. **sigh** /emo |
