I save it for when I'm playing Fallout 3, and then wake up the next morning, either go into work, or call into work and tell my co-workers I totally don't remember doing the shit that I did in the game, and ask them how to navigate my way out of my predicament.  |

Hands could ALWAYS use some work, I don't care who you are....BUT...I recall in one of your other threads, you mentioning something about how difficult they are. | Haha....it's okay...my bofriend has replaced me with his mancrush on Commander Shephard...I know how addicting that game can be.
Thank goodness for Mass Effect though...it's the perfect thing to throw in the boyfriend's face when he complains about the amount of time I put into a game. Although I dunno why he complains...I was the one who asked him out...WHILE actually on the job, and...I know I've mentioned it before...but I work at GameStop....HOW can he be surprised that I play games?! | Well, my city was slammed with several nasty snow storms, I just found out I have tonsilitis, and have NO health insurance, my knee is busted up something fierce, and I've been all around feeling like shit. XD
Needless to say, I have not seen anyone in several days, due to the way I've felt, and today was no different. Which...is surprisingly nice.
Although my boyfriend sent me a butt ton of flowers which I got yesterday. But, that's because he's in the "Ima kiss my girlfriend's ass because I made her mad enough to sock me in the face." mode. XD |

| Don't think I've posted anything here in a while...
So, my best friend is taking a photography class, and is also starting to use her own photography for other projects, hence why some of these have either been obviously played with...or in case you're wondering why I'm standing in a bathroom in a black dress with Crest on a platter. The bathroom produced the best pictures, and the final project was only the toothpaste and the person holding it.
So yeah...highly doubt I've changed much since I was 15. |

S'been a while...so I present to you another novel by your's truly. :p Right, so, I ended up quitting that second job. For starters, the manager at Bath and Bodyworks did NOT keep ANY of her promises when she hired me. For starters, she told me that a "call-in" system was part of how they did things. Meaning you were "possibly" scheduled to come in for a certain time on certain days, and it was YOUR responsibliity to call an hour beforehand to see if you were needed. When she told me that at the interview, I actually told her that I wouldn't wor out there. That I needed to be scheduled or not. That my boss at GameStop was already allowing me flexibility to have her schedule me first, but that I couldn't blow off my other job for a shift that I MIGHT have. So, she made a call to her boss, explained the situation, and they said they would exempt me from that. All fine and good. I know it's an exception being made for me and all, but don't hire me on the basis, and then take it away from me when I start working. Oiy! But that's okay. I got all promoted and more money at GameStop. Work has been HELLA busy. Soooo many badass games came out. I seriously wish I was in 6th grade again. I'd have magically gotten the flu and stayed home from school all week to play said games. Haha.
But now we're in a wee bit of a lull. But it's cool, from now until September, I'm quaranteed 35 hours. Practially 40, cuz my boss knows I won't leave if I was in the middle of helping a customer or something. Come September, I'm going back to art school. So, it'll just be school full-time and working as much as possible. This year is going to be all about saving money. As much as humanly possible. Then, the following year, I'm going to stop working, except for breaks from school summer, and really important days, and keep going to art school full-time, but take three classes a semester at the local community college. I know I can do it, academics are easy. It's art that's hard. Haha. But my art school is paying, but only if I meet the minimum amount of credits and grades they want me to have each semester. In other words, by the August after I graduate art school, I'll have an AA in Business, Communications, and the academics from those degrees will turn the AA from the art school into a BA. I'm very excited, and though I've said this before, I think I may have finally found my way around this trying to go to school but not having the means to do so thing. Oh! And I also am keeping my hand in film a bit. I really wanna do editing on the side, and when I can afford a good camera, my own filming as well. Though they don't teach it as a class directly, the art school will provide me with the knowledge of how to create my own animation a bit. So, yeah...
Oh, and btw, Rogue...that was your voice reporting as well? Pretty badass. Did you do everything? Or did you have someone else film and edit the piece? Either way, pretty damn cool. |

You're still a soldier, and you're still a fighter for everything I am lucky enough to love. Sorry, not so good at advice...but it bothers me that soldiers get the shit that I see them get. And, it's hard what you're going through. I can't even pretend to understand...so, at the very least...I hope you understand how much you're loved and respected for the things that you, and everyone out there with you, do. |

| Several issues that I have mentioned, and been mentioning, for a while now.
1) sugar problems...yet they can't for the life of me diagnose me as a diabetic and actually do something that'll help me manage my sugar. 2) miscarriages. I have something called PCOS. It's some kinda girly problem, I'm not going to get into much detail here, I just implore anyone who is curious about the issue NOT to use webmd to find out about it. Ugh...I HATE that website. In any case...it's a hormonal thing that can effect a woman in many different ways. One of the effects it has caused me is it's messed up the way my body handles insulin. So, I am not a diabetic. Never was...although PCOS increases the risk for diabetes, and the disease already runs in my family. It also answers the random bouts with depression...and perhaps what I thought might have been bi-polarism on my part. Some women who have this will miss their periods completely once in a while...others who miss it, most are irregular, btw, but most who "miss" it, still technically bleed. But it's not because they're menstrating. Half of the time, some women, myself being one of them, don't even produce an egg. We bleed because these tiny little cysts burst. Very...VERY painful, I must say. But in any case, they say this contributes to depression, or extreme mood swings in general... But c'mon! Shouldn't that be a given that if something isn't right with one's body, that they'll be pretty damn moody about it? Seriously. :p But, most women with this syndrome can't have kids, or it's very difficult for them. There are fertility drugs that may work...but when you're not producing eggs to begin with...what good will most fertility procedures do? **shrugs** I actually don't want kids, and don't think I'll want them ever. Was I going to step up to the plate both times I actually became pregnant? Yes. Was I going to fall in love with my baby and do everything in my power to make things right? Yes. But did I want that to happen? Hellz no. I'm not even in a relationship anymore, for once again, being pressured into the idea of marriage without really wanting to get married. I don't even think I ever want to get married. Haha. So, with that said, this doesn't seem to bother me emotionally so far. I just think it's neat that I don't have to try anti-depressants anymore. They never worked...but, I suppose that's why...I'm on birth control, I actually start it soon, and in all honesty, I'm excited and hopeful that this will work. This one tiny pill once a day will tackle the very issue that fucks with how I think and feel, will "regulate" me...and the months I don't do the whole egg thing, I won't be bothered by the pain that occurs, AND, will make the problems with my sugar go away. I mean, there's no guarantee...but there's never a guarantee...this is just the most promising solution I've faced in years. If this doesn't work, the fact that there are still options, and there is a better handle on what's wrong with me makes me feel a thousand times better. |
