"Perhaps." She said with a sigh, hoping off the bike. She glanced around nonchalantly. "No one means us harm, I'm sure. So, don't worry about it I guess." She adds with a shrug. Azura's conscience was clear, and she knew how to handle herself in combat when the need aroze. Therefore, she hardly worried about her surroundings. It was almost as though she were in a constant state of contentment. ________________________________________________ Alice nods, gently pushing the door open so as not to wake the boy. Holding it for Melina, she allows her to pass before gently closing it again. "Couldn't agree more." Alice says with a grin as she and Mel enter the conference room. Pulling up a chair beside Bookworm, Alice takes a seat. "Now what am I agreeing with you about?" She asks with a smile. |

| Alice tilted her head as she watched Melina walk out of the room.
"Why do I have the feeling she was insulted?" Suddenly, the scene of Melina and her brother popped up in Alice's mind. "Wait..." She was almost one hundred percent sure her idea would not suffice, but Alice had to try anyway. "Do you need me specifically to stay? Or just my pair of hands for help?" She paused. "If possible, couldn't I switch with Melina?" |

| Alice simply nodded. Slowly, she rose to her feet, gently nudging a strand of red hair out of her green eyes. Her eyes scanned the room once, surveying it's contents and the people in it as though she were contemplating something.
"I'll keep my scheduel clear for you, Bookworm." She says with a goofy grin as she heads out of the room, both knowing full well that anything important in Alice's day is authorized by Fernina first. ____________________________________________________________________ Blue chuckled from under Hiru's wing. Gently, she reached up to the back of his neck and pulled Hiru closer. With her lips softly brushing the side of his cheek, she says "Then take me somewhere you can fill me in on everything. | Blue shoved Hiru away from her and stepped from out of his shadow, eyeing Feather strangely. She chuckled.
"Put the sword away. There's nothing to fear here." She says in a sort of laid back, singsong voice, reaching out to nudge Hiru upside the head as though to prove her point. Out of the corner of her eye, she glared at Hiru, warning him not to take the challenge. __________________________________________________________ Alice's eyes widened in awe as Fernina showed her the photos of the brain scans. "This mind bender can't be like Micha." she says finally, after a few moments of silently taking in the information. "The havoc that was caused..." Her voice trailed. "I think this bender knew what they were doing." She paused and looked up at Fernina. "As a kid I didn't understand what was going on. Hell, I didn't understand until very recently, and even now I'm still a confused wreck at times...but...there does come a point when you realize what's going on. You just know something's...different. And then...I don't know." Alice sighed. "Micha's powerful, I'll give him that. But...Melina is his sister. Even if siblings fight, they always love each other. I could understand if he didn't know what he was doing. His bending seems to come from being a scared child and wanting someone he loves close. Even I've been there...but...you can't do something like...like THAT...without intent. Without..." She grinned sheepishly. "Maybe I'll just withhold my opinions until I understand things more." She adds with a shrug. |

| Bria looked over at Adalmus and shrugged.
"Fucking retard..." she mumbled under her breath, rolling her eyes in Saren's direction. However, at Saren's urgency, Bria tensed up, ready to go, even though she made no move for weapons as he ordered. Bria had what she would need on her at all times, and if not, using anything around her was never an issue. Carrying anything else on her would only drag her down and take away her graceful edge. _____________________________________________________________ Kiana's mother suddenly tensed up. Kiana couldn't help but notice her mother's nervous glances toward the doorway, as though she were waiting for something. "I thought you said he was busy." Kiana says softly. "His door was closed." "It's not that..." Her mother's voice trailed off. After a few more moments of trying to finish her meal peacefully, Kiana couldn't help but notice her mother's constant glances out the window. clink The sound of the metal fork crashing onto the glass plate startled Kiana enough to make her jump. Now, peering across the table to her mother, she was certain something was wrong. After dropping the fork, her mother swiftly rose to her feet and was at Kiana's end of the table in what seemed like a flash. "We need to go." "But-" Kiana protested, but to no avail. Her mother was already lifting her out of her chair and dragging her through the halls. "What's going on?!" Kiana exclaimed, trying to make sense of what was happening. "Shhh!" Her mother commanded as they continued through the halls, making sudden twists and turns throughout the manner. "You just need to do as I say." Her mother said, keeping Kiana close to her. |

| Alice looked in Mikhail's direction and nodded, acknowledging his presence. For now, however, she was too engrossed in Fernina's explanations to take much note to anything else.
"Stage....4?" She asks, taking in a deep breath. Her brow furrowed as she held her breath for a moment. "Just how bad does it get?" she asked, exhaling slowly. _________________________________________________________ Blue rolled her eyes as Hiru made his escape. The only thing he'd better be running from is me... Azura thought ruefully to herself, amused over the thought of stopping this potential battle. She then turned her attention directly onto Feather and simply shrugged. "Men..." She murmured playfully, rolling her eyes in exasperation. Then, suddenly, Azura's disposition changed from a casual nature to that of concern. "Why were you trailing me, Feather?" She asked. "Has something happened?" Azura was almost certain there was, or that there would be something happening. That was partially her reason for seeking out her demonic comrade. |

| Name: Nina Chiodetti
Age: 15 Appearance: Waist length, thick black hair with green eyes and an olive complexion. She stands at about five feet even, and while carrying herself on a thin body frame, Nina maintains a healthy toned appearance as a result of her active lifestyle. Allegiance: N/A (Stigma...but with no allegiance for now.) Background: Nina is in nearly every facet a typical teenage girl. Fitting in and keeping up with the trends are her hobbies, along with going for a run every morning before the sun comes up. These superficial activities are simply a cover for Nina. Beneath the make up and common clothes is a disturbed and lonely teenage girl. There are things going on with her body that aren't quite normal, even for a teenager, that Nina can't put her finger on. These differences are the cause of Nina's internal withdraw from others, which she masks by blending in with everyone else her age. Weaponry: None. Species: Homoblatta (Hopefully that's right...yay bats!) Stage I: Nina can literally hear a pin drop. The distance in which she can hear the pin drop depends on how far she concentrates herself. Her vision isn't the best by human standards, and she does indeed wear contact lenses to see as well as the normal human being, but when she closes her eyes, she can use the sounds she hears to see things. She can also "glide"-That is, she can jump further than most, and when jumping down from an elevated spot, she can, to an extent, control her landing (Ie: rather than go straight down, she can land at an angle and do so very smoothly.) Stage II: Not yet achieved. Stage III: Not achieved. Making another charrie. This one is to hold Cairoi over for now. :p I'll post the other sometime tomorrow. If you wish to start however, by all means, do so. I don't have to introduce BOTH charries at the same time. |

| Alice's eyes immediately dropped to the floor as Mikhail made his statement. However, for Alice, eyes to the floor did not mean submission; it meant she was contemplating. She knew the situation all too well. At least a sort of version of it.
"As far as I can tell, mind benders can't bend each other, correct?" Finally, she looked up. "This boy still needs to be taken care of. If you're going to assign him a death sentence, then it can at least be more comfortable." She looked over at Bookworm. "I can understand why Melina would have to be separated from her brother. It's for her own sake, even though I'm sure she won't go down without a fight. But...if he is going to die...he isn't going to die alone. Someone needs to be at his side." By the end of her speech, Alice's voice quavered. Death didn't scare her one bit. The notion of dying alone terrified her. If there was one thing she wished to save the world from, that was it. |

"So...what happens now? Like...right this second now?" Suddenly, she was impatient. There were still things about the present situation she did not understand, and many she did not agree with. However, she knew not one person could answer most of her concerns, so Alice depended on her journal for thoughts and opinions such as those. |

| Blue gazed off into the darkness, finally alone. She walked over to Hiru's bike and snagged the keys. However, she didn't take off anywhere. She simply made her way over to the edge of the garage. Leaning over the guardrail, she sighed, resting her chin in one hand, swinging the keys around on the other.
Feather's intrusion, and two worded "conversation" with her through Blue through a loop. Then the sudden appearence of the cat demon. "Pfft. They can wait for another Chosen. I can't see why they rush these things when there's obviously something wrong with the way we're going all about this!" She exclaimed in an exasperated groan. She was speaking to no one in particular, and that was perfectly alright with blue. She enjoyed her solitude from time to time. |

| There had been something stirring for quite a while now. Nina, however, had but no choice to continue to run her family's errands. This particular day did not begin any differently.
The sound of her mother's voice woke her early. As usual, she showered, and braided her long hair and allowed it to hang down her back. With the exception of mascara, Nina wore little make-up, however. For starters, her olive complexion matched her green eyes so well, there was no need to cover it up. She ripped open her dresser and snatched up a pair of light blue, form-fitting jeans. Next, she rumbled through another drawer for a short sleeved, low-cut black T-shirt. "I know! I'm going!" Nina shouted down to her mother, as she reached into her closet for a pair of black, ankle high boots with a two inch heel, making her stand at a high of five foot two. Dashing down the stairs, she snatched up her kahki colored satchel and picked up the money off the living room table. As she threw open her front door, Nina eagerly made her way into center city. Waking up was hard for her that morning, but once she got out of bed, something in her heart wasn't right. It wasn't unusual for Nina to feel like her body wasn't as a normal body should be, but today she was extraordinarily uncomfortable in her own skin. She could hear the destruction before she made it downtown. The sounds warned Nina of the danger, but still she continued on, as though entranced. Gasping as she caught glimpse of the carnage around the city, Nina continued to duck and cover about the streets, compelled to continue on, forgetting about the original reason of her presence. Suddenly, Nina was taken aback by a distinct cry for help. Finally, she was torn from her trance. As she looked about her, there were monstorous beings flooding the streets, along with humans. Many were caught in fierce battle, while others were clearly outmatched. Focusing her attention on the cry for help, the sound seeming closer now, Nina made her way toward it, walking closely to those craving destruction. She said not a word. She did not question why such a large group was heading toward one particular area. She had to blend in so she could scope the situation, and to her suprise, she did so very well. |

| (OOC: Just fyi...I'm going to assume that True's first post, the "sending the whip down at the man" meant that she was cracking the whip at someone, and not just dropping a whip to him, for him to use, or something like that...minor detail, I know, but kinda important for a character with supersonic hearing to react to.)

At work...while I will admit to using the computer to look up quantity from time to time...I also work in an extremely busy store. But most of my co-workers, when we aren't crowded at all, want me to type in my password thingie so they can look up quantity. Funny thing is, especially for them, it takes them longer to go through all that than it does to open a drawer that's alphabatized, mind you, and see for themselves if we have a game. **shrugs** Same thing with customers. And I'm not talking the ones that are just plain lazy and won't look for a damned thing themselves...it's the ones who I see looking around, and they eventually give up and ask one of us for help. I keep my store immaculate most of the time, despite how busy we are, so there's no reason why they can't find things because they're out of order...they just...don't know how to... |
