She was speaking to Adalmus, but her eyes were on the stranger for a moment and then an icy glare was shot in Saren's direction. It's insane. I remember when I first started at GameStop. Last March, the GTA IV was scheduled to come out around that time. Then it just kept getting pushed back. And it figures. I have to miss out on our midnight release because I have a final the next morning.  Midnight releases are awesome, by the way.
I'm not too thrilled about the GTA games. My own neighborhood inspired the games practically...so its nothing new to me.  Ask Xeios. They should definitely make a GTA:Kensington City Stories XDXD
But naturally, Ima cave and at least give the game a shot. It's a first on the next gen consoles, and I heard the online play is going to be kickass. |

| FUCK YOU COMMUNITY COLLEGE!!!!!!!
I don't fucking get it. So, my first semester, Fall 2006, I'm a fucking part-time student, because the asshole who registered me, KNOWING I was a first time student, cuz when it's your first time registering, you can't do it on your own anyway, you have to have them do it with you...put me in a fucking economics class that required a pre-requisite. Spring 2007 Semester. I go from getting A's in my three classes from the last semester, to a fucking 2.14 GPA. Got two B's and one A. I wasn't suprised. I started my first job, the school went on strike...everything was thrown off. What I don't understand is how I can fail my fucking Creative Writing class completely, because the dumb bitch of a professor accepted my portfolio earlier than the others because she wanted to get me some sort of scholarship with it...then forgets to submit it to the school with the rest of the class, and fucks me over by saying "Tough luck. You should have submitted me another one when the rest of the class did." Well I'm SORRY I trusted my teacher who said that I was done for the semeter now that she had everything. FUCK you, school who DOESN'T do my financial aid right and drops me from the fucking semester last Fall of 2007. (THAT'S a long story in itself that I'd rather not curse about at the moment.) And FUCK YOU teacher, who fucks me over AGAIN with that damned Creative Writing class. Fuck you Community College. I'm going to art school. |

Xeo, the "doomsday" comment Vulkar made is right...usually. Maybe its because I was here when MoD was freaking GINORMOUS, but have you guys ever noticed that Xeo has done the "doomsday" speech several times? And if you think about it, WHEN he makes it, he has legitimate points, and then has to make it again. Now, this is the final exam time of year, so yeah, I can most definitely see why this board isn't so active, now, but will this change come summertime? I really don't think so. I mean, I'm not doubting the board. I just wouldn't be suprised either way. I lurk here. Quite often actually. I've been deterred from posting. **shrugs** What I liked about MoD soooo much better than I like about the board now (funny, four years ago today MoD was hacked, on my 16th Birthday. Haha) was that everyone was friends. Dude. Sparda is the man. Not because of his SIM battling reputation, and crapola like that. I used to talk to him. A lot. He's a cool guy. I was like 15 and like worshiped the ground Elara, Rogue walked on. Leon and Benja (you guys gotta admit, its not the same without them either) are awesome. I became good friends with Kaijin and Evo. Xeo was like the untouchable master that I rarely had the opportunity to talk to. Teehee. There were a lot of other people I started getting close to as well, but they're like my age, so I'm pretty sure I know what happened there(the jist of it at least.) Anywho...I'm going to make this quick because I have an interview to go to in a half hour.... Everyone posted and everyone read one another's posts. Everyone responded to what others said. Sometimes, I feel like the thread killer. It's like when I post, the thread dies. And a crapload of times I would say something, and then someone else would, not long after, say the same thing I said as though my input wasn't even there. And I notice I'm not the only one it happens to. Grant it, I don't post a lot lately, but that was really the reason why. There's nothing new, and my input was ignored anyways. But again, mine wasn't the only one either... Before we start thinking we need more members, let's just focus on having fun with the ones we have again. |

Thanks everybody! I had a pretty good day. All my sisters and nieces and nephews came over the house. Ended up getting cake with coconut in it, and I'm allergic to coconut. Then I ended up babysitting. But I also got officially accepted into an art school today. Was told my porftolio was one of the best incoming freshman portfolio's they have ever seen, and I'm one of 10 in line for a scholarship.  Got some cash too, and I'm going on vacation tonorrow until Sunday with teh boyfriend.

Owies. Double majoring sucks. You'll pull through, but it sucks nonetheless. 
Speaking of getting into comics...Rogue, you'd LOVE the school that I just got into. Community college can kiss my ass, because it didn't work out for me (not saying that community colleges are bad...but...this one in particular has quite the bad reputation and lawsuits on their hands I quickly found out.) So, it's back to square one. I'll be admitted next fall as a freshman again, but it's an art school. 4 years for an Associates degree, but they have strong connections with ILM and Marvel. Several of their graduates work for one of them, and their graduates are winning all sorts of crapola at film festivals. So...I'm not going right into directing. I'm going to toy around with special effects and work up the ladder. I discovered that I can do anything with film and be happy. Everything else...while I LOVE school. Dude, if I had the money, I'd take every history course, as well as many other courses, that I could get into. But to focus on anything else as a possible career, I learned depresses me. So...I'm taking the leap, and going into film without a saftey net. But I'll be doing something I love, and my school will guarantee me an internship by the time I graduate. So it doesn't leave me without a start. (I could go on, this is just a summary, believe it or not.) |

| Perhaps it's because in several ways I'm like that too, this post put a smile on my face. It's liberating to just publicly put those kind of things out there, isn't it?
I've gotten over the whole people asking my opinion and getting slightly upset over my thoughts (that used to be a BIG issue for me) and now I'm just puzzled at why everyone thinks I'm so much wiser than they are and that they need to come to me about their problems. I am smart. And I probably do understand a lot more than people should for my age...but people constantly holding you to that will make one crack once in a while. And when I have cracked, it's like it's all forgotten now, and I'm again, no longer the human who makes mistakes, but the robot who understands everything. I don't understand everything. I just listen and pay attention. There's a difference.  |

| I know the newbie forum makes loads of spam...but it's a "good" kind of spam, for the most part. I think I was one of the people who supported getting rid of it, but I really haven't paid attention to welcoming new members since. Like Kaijin said...it really does feel nice. People showing interest in me when I first joined (5 years ago! Christ!) made me want to get involved and make friends.
This may bring up the issue of making "vacation"threads. Don't make one thread for everyone to post their vacations. I think it'd be pretty cool. Kinda a place for small talk...but small talk that doesn't really fit anywhere else BUT an individual's vacation thread. Example: "Virginia" *Insert member here* Not gonna be here for a few days. Going away to Virginia for 'til Sunday. *insert another member here* Have fun! *member* Yup. Back. *another member* Yay! Was it awesome?! *member* Yup. Bad example, I know...but if you think about it, it's small talk that really isn't going to fit anywhere else...Instant Messengers you say? That's cool...but again, one of the things that appealed to me so much was the blantent closeness people had over the entire FORUM. This type of thing may become spammy eventually...or it may not. And even if it does, it just may generate the passion of the board we all had before it goes to ruins. |

| Yay Comic-Con season. I can't wait for the pictures, Rogue.
My plans include...working. I'm hoping to get my promised 40 hours soon. If not, I'm getting a second job. Otherwise, my sister is moving in next door, so I'll be spending time with my nephew again. He and I were like uber close and kinda grew apart due to lack of living together. He's gotten so big and is really cool. I'm so proud of him.
I have until June to perfect my portfolio to the best of my ability to see what's going on with this art school. Then by June 9th, I'll know my fate for this September. Then I'll just spend the rest of the summer working, and doing whatever I can at the moment with my free time. |

| VG and Thex: I saw the Taco Bell thing you guys mentioned in Virginia today. I died happy.
Nagis: Yes, fattening foods. I eat fast food. I am 20 years old. I stand at about 5 feet tall (5'2 to be exact.) I weigh 105lbs. 115(tops) if I'm ragging it. I also chase after kids all day. Work in a busy ass retail store that brings 8 hour days without taking a seat. I swim in the summer. Once in a blue moon I'll go out for a run. I do LOTS of walking. Winter and summer. I LOVE center city. Oh, and I don't say to myself "Self. You ate fast food. You now have to exercise." Too little and too much of anything (for the most part) can be bad for you. People just need to instill decent habits in their lives. Not taking your comment as a personal attack, btw. Just using myself as an example, cuz technically I can't speak for anyone else and know I'd be 100% correct. Teehee.
Boss: Wii Fit...we need Xeios here to let us know how his store is doing, but my store...shit, we have enough Wii Fits on reserve to do a midnight launch, last I checked. Sounds silly, but it IS intriguing, I must say. Flop or not, it's going to sell. XD |
