| Hmmmm....Before I really assert an opinion, I guess I need to look up the effects there are to those who are not breast-fed.
I was never breast-fed. My sisters told me that they never breast-fed either. My younger sisters were never breast-fed. My aunt (my dad's sister) breast-fed her children though. I have some cousins that breast-feed their kids too. Funny thing is, my mother was really young when she had me. My sisters were young when they had their kids, and my sisters' mothers were very young when they were born as well. The aunt and cousins mentioned were all a little older when they started having children, about mid-twenties and up. Possibly that factors in which mothers decide to breast-feed too? It's an interesting topic really, when you think about it. We live in an age where there are all sorts of baby formulas out there that are healthy for babies. Whether they are healthier or just as healthy is arguable. But, there was a time when breast-feeding was the only thing for infants. In 18th-19th century America, know why taverns and alcohol was so big? One of the reasons at least was because water wasn't so sanitary. It was healthier to drink alcohol. Now, with water being out of the question, and mothers being bound to their homes, I'm sure breast-feeding was more of a necessity back then. I know that's not really touching on the whole "breast-feeding beyond infancy" thing...but I think people need to understand breast-feeding. For now, my uneducated response to this specific topic and the video is..."Ewwww...."  |

House: Jhereg Age: 873 Height: 6'9 Appearance: Bria has thick straight black hair that falls down to the bottom of her shoulder blades. Rarely is it seen left down, however, since she keeps it tied back in a tight braid. She dresses entirely in black, clothing that tightly hugs her slim, curvy body frame. Her stilleto-heeled boots are also black. The only spec of gray she flashes is the color of one of her blades, the last shine to catch her opponent's attention. Weapon: Knives, Daggers...any type of small sword. Anything with an edge. Not much is known about Bria and her past. She manages to captivate foes with her wit and sarcasm, and gets the job done. She can not be classified as a loner, nor a team player. She not only gets her job done, but she gets it done well, whether it was a solo trip or a group brigade. You've beaten it already?!  I really need to go back to my ways of locking myself in my room for days on end, only coming out to replenish my inventory or Mountain Dew and cherry taffies. Those were the days.
I've been messing around on it once and a while. Haven't played it on my PS3 yet, so, since my boyfriend and I just play it together on his 360, I'm not too far. Only up to Mission 6. But the game is pretty breath-taking. I can't help but think of Sparda though. I remember him creaming his pants over the video for the upcoming DMC 3. Teehee. But yeah, next time I have a few days off from work, I'm just gonna blast my way through it. I've been playing on Demon Hunter Mode, or whatever it's called, and I must say, either I'm getting better at video games, or it's just not that hard of a mode...you guys tell me.  |

| I still have the soda bottles that advertised Star Wars Episode I (I was 11 that summer, mind you...I'm about to be 20) as well as other things that came out around that time. I have the very last penny my great-grandmother had given me (that was her thing, a penny on heads was good luck, so she would always tape one to our cards) and that was also nearly 10 years ago...I have a lot of stuff that has that kind of value to it. Otherwise, most of the other junk I have are things that I've just been too lazy to sift through. Should I do that, I would have no problem parting with what should be parted with. **shrugs**
So...I guess I am...out of laziness moreso than anything else. Memories don't go away just because you don't have a certain object anymore. So, I don't have to keep EVERYTHING. Just what means the most to me. |

Kiana smiled up at the maid from her heavily cushoned wooden chair. The older Dragaeran woman returned the smile as she patted the tiara into place. She then took several paces back before nodding to Kiana, signaling it was alright for her to stand. As Kiana rose to her feet, her black hair dropped down behind her. She grinned sheepishly as the extra weight kept itself from being forgotten. The gold tiara simply held pieces of her hair back, to keep it from falling into her pale round face. The sparkle of the red rubies in the tiara complimented the green in Kiana's eyes as she took a few steps forward, smothing out the long gown. The gown was a deep red with a sleeveless and corsset-like at the top. The bottom half flared out a little bit and fell directly to the floor. About her waist was a lace sash, a lighter shade of red than the rest of the dress that tied into a bow in the back. Just then, there was a knock on the door. Kiana knew that was her que. "Coming Mama." she said as she made her way over to her bedroom door. |

| A sly smile crept across Bria's red lips, but she did not turn to look at Saren.
"Because I'm hungry." Was her reply. "And Axes is hungry too. Arn'chya, buddy?" Despite the heals she wore, Bria moved with as much silence as she did grace. As per usual, she dressed entirely in black and was most certainly not so selfish as to keep her figure to herself. "Besides, Axes is here for my protection." | "I need all the protection from you I can get." Bria calmly stated. In her grasp was the woman who screamed just before they were attacked, and against the woman's throat was the cold edge of Bria's dagger. Bria kicked through some debris that remained around the door so she and her captive could enter the resturant.
"The bitch disappeared..." Bria mused as she kept a firm grasp on the other woman. The moment Saren had dove toward her, Bria lept out of the line of fire, and rushed directly toward the direction in which the blast came. "But you're going to tell us what exactly you saw before the woman attacked us..." She muttered into her captive's ear, pressing the dagger gently into the woman's skin. |

| "Could have been a warning." Bria announced, letting the woman go. She watched as her little "mouse" scurried off as fast as she could, making a mental note of what the woman looked like, the scent of her perfume now engraved in memory.
"Who did you piss off this time, Saren?" ---------------------------------------------- When Kiana opened her door, she was greeted with two possibilities; her mother, or a mirror. Since a mirror wouldn't depict herself as taller, Kiana knew she was never greeted by a mirror. "You're late for dinner." Her mother announced. The woman's words were straight to the point, as usual. If not for the warm smile that accompanied her mother's words, Kiana could swear the woman was always displeased. |

"Ah, so you missed it then, Adalmus?" She says, patting him on the back jovially. "Saren's 'bitch' was a woman from the crowd that tried blowing us up." She reached over and flicked Saren in the shoulder. "Being in your company will destroy me yet. If Axes is on to something, we all could have been blown to bits because of you." She says, sticking out her tongue. ----------------------------------------------------- "Is Papa working again?" Kiana asked as she and her mother passed the door to her father's private study. As usual, the door remained tightly shut. Kiana's mother sighed. "I'm afraid he won't be joining us tonight either, Kiana." was the woman's only response. Her glance, however, lingered upon the door as though she expected him to emerge. |

With that, Bria turned and headed into the direction of their table, her hips swaying side to side as she moved. "They've got the mess, I'll take a drink." | Right...so anyone else here bugging out about what they're going to do with their lives?
I think I'm on the verge of a nervous breakdown...but...at the same time I'm excited to learn more about my opportunities. **shrugs** Any ideas on what you guys even want to get into? Any advice? As for myself...I kinda have a direction...but I'm so lost. **sigh** After this semester, I'm about to change my major for...the second time...I started off as a Communications/Film major. Then changed it to Business, only because Film was too unstable and I wanted a background in Business if I was going to dabble in the film industry. MANY people have raw talent, so I can't rely on the possibility of just being good at something to get me by. I need to outsmart my competition, ya know? Being familiar with an aspect of something that not many people even realize is a part of what they're getting into creates that edge....so...even though I changed my major, it was really just a different means to accomplish the same goal. HOWEVER...I have tossed that goal of becoming the next Steven Spielberg aside. Going to mess around in Criminology (Where's Zabuza when I need him? Heh.) **shrugs** Not much else to say since I'm still in the process of giving information...all I can say is that my Sociology professor has been trying to convince me to look into it all semester. I caved one day and told her that I would if she gave me 50 reasons why I should. Why I should, not why it's a good opportunity in general. And ya know what? She did it, without batting an eyelash...was even so bold as to give me fiftyONE reasons, the last reason being the one that really sold me...so...yeah.... How about everyone else? Discuss. <3 |

| Bria raised an eyebrow. She detested his references to their past and wished to castrate him then and there for doing so.
Slowly, she rose to her feet. "Might as well take a look around, make sure we aren't being watched still." She announced as she reached out for Saren's glass of brandy. She pressed the glass to her lips and stared Saren directly in the eyes. With the tilt of a wrist, the contents vanished from the glass. She let the glass click on the table as she set it down, leaving about a mouthful left. "Perhaps I'll run into someone who can keep up with me." She says, with a sly smile. Her steps contained no swagger to them, after having two drinks in such little time, as she headed out toward the direction their attack came from. Those who left in haste almost always dropped something along the way... |

| Bria glanced down at her follower. Adalmus was nearly a foot shorter than she, a fact she often found amusing. She kicked up a tuft of dirt as she crossed the road.
"Hmmm...there's no way in hell anything would be left here by now." She mused, not wanting to admit her true reasons for exiting the tavern. "It was so sloppy...one person attacking US so feebily and then vanishing without a trace. Perhaps we weren't targed because of who we were..." She turned, greeting Adalmus with the usual grin. "Maybe someone saw you tagging along and got pissed off at us for allowing it." |

| Bria looked back at Adalmus and lifted her shoulders in a shrug. She followed in Saren's direction, but hung back with Adalmus. Everyone around her could handle themselves, but no one drew as much attention as Adalmus when the four of them were together. She usually hung back with him, trying to absorb as much of the nasty stares as she could.
Adalmus may or may not notice her usual hovering, but regardless, if she meant to insult they would know it. Bria never explained herself. |
