I'm with you guys on the Anakin bit. After reading what you guys have said, and now that I realize it, I agree with that as well...but just the fact that he looked different than the usuall jedi get-up I usually see caught my eye.

As far as costumes are concerned...though she's not a Jedi, Padme ALWAYS had the best costumes in my opinion, especially in EP II...they were absolutely gorgeous!

Age:18 (a bit young I guess, but hey...**is in NO rush to grow up. **)
Height:5'2 Physical appearance: Jet black hair that falls an inch or two from the waist in back and shorter in front. Dark brown eyes, pale skin, and faint brown freckles dotting the bridge of her nose. Dark navy blue, snug fitting hand-me-down jeans with a Ninja-Turtle green tank top. Her wrists are covered with black and blue plastic bracelets criss-crossing, and some braided yarn bracelets. She also has a black hoodie tied to her waist, and black and white high-top chucks. Katie, already running around in an awkward frenzy, accidentally bumps into Chase. Dropping to her knees and fumbling around frantically for her books, Katie groans. Her hair had fallen into her face as it was toward the floor, snatching up all sorts of stray papers. "Great...being late...even missing some...nice impression for my first week..." she grumbles, her voice trailing off here and there. Suddenly she stops, and slowly looks up. She gasps as she jumps to her feet, dropping whatever she managed to salvage, papers fluttering to the floor once again. "I'm so sorry..." Katie exclaims, checking Chase out to make sure that she was alright. "I didn't hurt you, did I?"

I've heard of Warped Tour, but never really payed any attention...just like everything else really. |

This summer....hmmm...Prolly put some time into taking care of the kids, but they're getting older and it's getting easier for my sisters to take over this summer....so...I've got two jobs, but I dun start them 'til the end of June. Two part-time jobs. The two jobs wasn't really intended, cuz if anything, I could've just gonr full-time with one, but...the one job was already a given, and they only need me part-time, and the other one, I'm working part-time still starting at $7.50 an hour, which isn't bad, especially when they said they'll up that when the school year starts cuz they'll need the help, but it'll be a bit more difficult with school I suppose. They also said I'll be getting a raise for every good report card. |
They said that i's be getting well over 1.50$ raise every marking period for my grades. (Yes, they're THAT desperate...it's at a nursing home) Then some weekend jobs here and there helping out downtown at this Chinese Resturant. I've known the people there my whole life and have helped them out just because (They're REALLY nice people) but they said with my worrying about college and all, they'll pay me. Since I was a bit worried, I agreed.
EIther way, I'm really excited about all those jobs. I love working with the people at the resturant, I know the people at the videogame store really well too, hell, I even go to the one manager for help with my algebra. And the nursing home....it's a place that actually CARES about the people there. The old people love it when young kids come in and everything, and I love hearing those stories of when they walked bearfoot in the snow. That's pretty much all I'd be doing. Keeping a bunch of cool old people company...I mean I've hung around there a few times to get to know the people...there's like oldsoldiers there and all that kickass stuff.

To be perfectly honest, I know I'm going to pass. I've never failed a subject in my life and always held a 4.0 average. I have an EXTREMELY strict family when it came to school....they pretty much stopped helping me in 3rd grade, but were still there to flip out and punish me when I got grades below 90s. They're not so strict anymore, but being as I'm from a large city, competition for scholarships and such is pretty tough, so yeah...

This quarter my grades dropped though...stull have a 4.0 average, but they still dropped...and yeah I'm one of those nerds who gets really worked up over grades that they got and knew they could do better. **shrugs** Though I don't get out 'til like the second week of June.

I loved it.
I watched bits and piecs of Ep. II on TV....the comercials kept pissing me off though. And As I've said before...one thing I liked about II is Padme's costumes...they were pretty in III....but absolutely gorgeous in II!

Anywho...Kickass on getting that job Xeo. I remember talking to you about it online a little bit a while ago and you saying you were applying for it or something. That's nuts that your friend is a manager though....kickass too. And hey, most people might not like Jiffy Lube and with good reason...but hey...you're making nice money and you've got nothing to do with the discrepancies that people have about it. Woot!!

What are classes like in college btw? After reading your reply Zabuza...I never thought about it before. I thought you just took classes, went to them, did what you were supposed to and either passed or failed...pretty much like high school...only different environment and such of course... |

Anywho...Like I know certain schools and certain types of schools have certain reputations and stuff...but I also think that no matter what you can influence what YOU get out of the school, not just what everyone else gathers from it, ya know? So yah...**shrugs** I'm glad you're going so you can put your talents to use. Whatever is usually gathered from those schools...**shrugs** you can still do something else with it and make something of yourself from it rather than just what everyone else does there.
