Dang, I really really liked the Illiad. I really don't mind knowing the ending though, considering that the poem itself basically says what the ending is repeatedly, the whole time through. What I liked though was the growing sense of dread as we got closer and closer to what happens. For me, it was way less about the destination, and way more about the journey and what philosophical points the Iliad was trying to share with us. Same thing with the Odyssey too.

Finding a job, mostly. I'm about to graduate college, so I'm hoping to start working while also running my own business on the side.

What's the longest you've been without sleep?

I watched the first episode and was... not impressed. My sister says that it gets better as time goes on though, so I'd say give it a shot.

At least their TV shows have mostly been female-led. Agent Cart, Jessica Jones, and Agents of Shield all have strong women leading the cast.

Yeah, you can say that Agents of Shield is more of an ensemble cast, and I've only seen two seasons, but I think Sky/Daisy is definitely the most important character to the plot.

Sadly, I don't think so.

How about Kasich's withdrawal speech though? I feel sad just from that that he wasn't the choice. Sadly though, it looks like my two bottom picks are now running against each other. Clinton vs Trump. I hate Trump's personality, the way he attacks people, and his attitude, but I feel like Clinton has a history of just being part of the establishment problem, plus a lot of controversy recently. Frankly, I feel worried about having either one of them as president.

I'm pretty sure Trump will have to get my vote though, but only by a slim margin, and only because his economic policies are actually really good. As a guy going into business, and planning to start his own company, it seems like Trump's plan will help me in my life the best, while Clinton will just make stuff harder with her tax increases.

I... I watched the frist two Sharknado movies, and I don't know what's worse, the fact that I decided, on my own to watch them alone while 100% sober...

Or the fact that I sort of enjoyed them...

I mean, they're 100% unrealistic, but they were also kind of funny in their own way, and they were definitely fun.

Yeah, I mean, I identify a lot more with libertarians, but I just don't see it happening until the press gets on board with, you know, actually discussing who the libertarian candidate is. There's no way to pull in enough voters for that unless the media gets on board.

So I guess I would, but at this point my vote really wouldn't go anywhere.

Also, for the record, I almost completely blame the press for Trump being elected. Kasich was way better, and he got almost no coverage. Everybody just talked about Trump, even his opposition. All we needed to beat him was to just ignore him.

Haha, well, Bernie seems like a nice guy, and I definitely think that out of everyone still in the race, he has the most integrity. But, that said, I really don't agree with any of his political positions.

Daaaang, I've been here for forever, haha. It's hard to believe that I was a little thirteen year old when I first joined this board.

But thanks! It's been a pretty good day. I had a job interview, got lunch with my mom and sister, and plan to spend the evening just hanging out with my wife, so everything is pretty fantastic.

Also, I just realized... in a year, when I turn 26, I will have spent half of my life here on this board. O_o

I'm old now.

I think that the first one still holds up remarkably well. The use of practical effects was sufficient to make sure that you never really notice the CGI.

As for Civil War, I liked a lot of it. It was fun to watch, much more so than BvS, but I felt at the end like it was somehow... unfinished. Like it wasn't a complete movie. Seriously, nothing was really resolved except for Black Panther's story. It's like it introduced a ton of story arcs, but told us that we'll have to watch the sequels to see how they play out.

BvS... I felt like it had a lot of weaknesses, like how violent Batman got, and the Martha moment, but I actually really enjoyed it. Despite everything, I felt as though it told a good intense story. As for Lex Luthor, I felt like he was over the top, but that wasn't really a bad thing for me. He was fun to watch on screen, and he had a very strong memorable presence. I felt like he was crazy, but I could still see that genius inside of him.

It looks like the Berne has cooled. Clintin has declared herself the nominee after getting enough delegates to win the election. Yeah, I know the super delegates technically haven't voted, but they're not going to go against her.

My wife says that she's going to write in Kasich because she hates them both, haha. I'm sad to say that as a practical conservative, I'm in a tight spot.

It will be interesting to see how this will play out in the future. From what I've understood, the UK has had some pretty bad relations with the EU for quite some time anyway, so I'm not really that surprised about it happening eventually. I am, however, sad that the refugees are the catalyst for it. That at least is something I think we should be supporting.

It's hard to really say what kind of crime this is, but honestly I really don't think that it matters. These people are dead, and it's sad. One side is trying to use it to show how we're being attacked by terrorists, and another is trying to say that it's an attack on the gay community and is showing how we should be supporting them at large.

Trump is using it to forward his agenda, Hilary is using it to attack him. We're trying to classify it as a hate crime or a terrorist attack. Race relations get thrown in too. Some people are even saying they sort of deserve it for the lifestyle they led.

Stop it, everyone. It's sad. Be sad for their loss, but for goodness sake, stop being angry and stop trying to use it for your own political agenda. Be sad. This was a crazy man who was justifying his homosexual leanings by killing these people. That's it. Yes, he declared loyalty to ISIS, but he wasn't a part of their organization. He was crazy and he was a murderer.

That said, also stop trying to use this to attack those who don't support gay marriage. There is a clear and obvious difference between those who don't support it and those who want to kill people for it. Just because people want it to be illegal doesn't mean that they want to kill somebody over it.

Rant over.

I actually felt pretty much the opposite about Warcraft. There were some bad performances, but I really enjoyed the orc culture. Maybe it's because I haven't played WoW, but I felt like it was a pretty original and fun movie which was willing to be realistic with the characters. I came away really liking it.

We saw Independence Day this weekend. Tori liked it more than me, but I felt like it was a lot of action with a midling story.

I just got a PS4.

Any recommendations? I've got Fallout 4, Last of Us, and Arkham Knight.

I've been playing Arkham a lot the last couple weeks, it's different, and I feel like the batmobile is a bit odd, but I'm enjoying it a lot.

Honestly I never really hopped on the VR train. I feel like wearing an uncomfortable helmet while sitting on a couch kind of takes away from anything the 3D effect does. I'll still take my projector screen of that any day.

I'm finally working on the Dark Tower series by Stephen King. It's good, but not quite what I expected, haha.
