I want this chemical!

Unless I die, then that would suck. Maybe I should make everyone in my family take it, so that I can see what my chances are!

The screen changed, and now it showed a scanitely clad five hundred pount four foot tall catgirl doing a poledance.

"It's called pwnage," Vulkar said, somehow pronouncing pwnage perfectly. "Now, the first question, where did you come from on Xeogaming, who bothered to recruit you, and what's your favorite moment on this board so far?

Vulkar laughed maniacally, his back was to the creen, so he was the only one not forced to see its terrible sight.

I actually like number 2 a lot. People say that the island scene was terrible, because it had no point, but I think it was neccesary. The rest of the movie was dark and serious, with a bunch of fighting and crackens, and that one scene was able to give the movie some humor.

It alos destroyed the crew. That was definitely needed.

That...looks...AWESOME!

*looks up the game on IGN.*

Dangit, only on PS3. Now I have to hate it, fanboyism is coming into gear...

That would be so much more awesome on the Wii.

Alarath looked the Kamu in the eye, his eyes filling with defiance. Suddenly he smirked. "You forgot to say please," he said.

Now they were trying to interrogate him. "As I recall, you attacked first," Aralath said. "You tried to lure us into your territory, and then accuse us of trying to fight you?"

He shook his head. "It just sounds a bit stupid to me."

No bumping here, Enyulan. You didn't contribute enough to the topic(pointing out inconsistancies, or generally debating), and this thread has been dead for at least two months.

Very, very, very few movies actually get to me.

However, of those that do, I'd have to name Gladiator. It has a lot of emotion, and great acting. It's one of those few great movies tht can really touch you emotionally.

I don't really know of any others. I enjoy a lot of movies, but I rarely feel that much emotion towards them.

I think, Shuyin, that if everyone kept standing up and saaying how terrible the white man devil is, then they're being racist, and insulting back. As a result, we, the white man devils, are going to think less of those that are black, and so the blakcs insult more, etc.

It's an endless process, and at some point then someone needs to stop the insulting and be the better man. We who are white have really made progress, and racism isn't that common anymore from our side. I personally am friends with several people who are black, as are almost everyone I know.

Posted on 06-04-07 02:09 PM, in "Who killed more people in the Bible?" Link
Alright, I'm taking what you say point by point, Enyulan.

I would love for you to explain why god felt is was necessary to kill (in the great flood) people who have done no wrong, such as unborn or newborn children. What about the faithful church goers? The priests and nuns? Surely not everyone god killed was evil.

I need to quickly find my copy of the bible...

" 11 The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with bviolence.
" 12 And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth."

First off, nuns didn't exist back then, they started appearing in the middle ages. Secondly, according to this, the world was corrupt. As for when Noah, and other prophets warned them, that is in other books, such as the Apocrypha, or the books of Moses and Abraham.

Now, the newborn children...you assume that god would send all of these people, no matter what, straight to Hell. This is not so.

In my religion, we believe that if a child dies before the age of accountability(age 8), they go to straight to heaven. Granted, nonmormons will have different opinions on this subject, but I believe that all of these unborn or young children didn't have anything bad happen to them.

I personally think if there is a higher power, he/she is in no way (or only in the most vague sense) affiliated with the Bible. There are too many inconsistencies in the Bible, and largely due to it being written/interpreted by man.

Amny inconsistancies, maybe. What I'm about to say is something that hardcore christians could want to kill me over...

The english bible has been translated and restranslated many, many times. It's been translated at least four times as far as I know. Anyone who studies an ancient foreign language, such as latin or greek, will know that it's really hard to get an exact and completely literal translation. The sentence structure, grammar, and words are completely different, so you can only come close to exactly what's correct.

During these retranslations, new things were added and altered to try and make it work, but it can be mistranslated and have mistakes. It's easy to do so.That's what I think has happened with the bible...it's not 100% true, which is why I believe in more than the bible.

Also, priests who worked on the bible added or altered things in it to try and make it work with their own beliefs. The bible is good, but probably only about 87% accurate as far as its original form, hence the problems you'll see in it.

The Everything Test

There are many different types of tests on the internet today. Personality tests, purity tests, stereotype tests, political tests. But now, there is one test to rule them all.

Traditionally, online tests would ask certain questions about your musical tastes or clothing for a stereotype, your experiences for a purity test, or deep questions for a personality test. We're turning that upside down - all the questions affect all the results, and we've got some innovative results too! Enjoy :-)

Personality
You are more logical than emotional, more concerned about others than concerned about self, more religious than atheist, more loner than dependent, more lazy than workaholic, more rebel than traditional, more engineering mind than artistic mind, more idealist than cynical, more leader than follower, and more extroverted than introverted.

As for specific personality traits, you are adventurious (100%), religious (93%), intellectual (70%), greedy (57%).

Stereotypes
Geek59%
Prep38%
Hippie37%

Life Experience
Sex0%
Substances0%
Travel3%

Politics
Your political views would best be described as Conservative, whom you agree with around 64% of the time.
  Socioeconomic
Your attitude toward life best associates you with upper Middle Class. You make more than 67% of those who have taken this test, and 30% less than the U.S. average.

If your life was a movie, it would be rated G.
By the way, your hottness rank is 86%, hotter than 99% of other test takers.

Alex(Who is from now on going to be called Atigg, in order to prevent confusion), quickly threw himself forward to try and avoid John's attack. He threw himself to the floor in a dive, and went sliding in a way so that John missed him.

Atigg quickly pulled himself up, and went after Royin from behind. He quickly sent a punch towards Royin's lower spine, with what would hopefully be bonecrushing force.

"No one wants to try and make a guess?" Atigg asked.

Alarath's head was knocked sideway with the force, and he felt a for pain on his cheek. He cursed, and quickly sent a line through his brain, one that he had memorized, and told most of his patients as a doctor.

"It isn't my choice to feel pain, but it is my choice about how I respond to it." Alarath muttered to himself. The pain was numbed, and he calmed himself.

"Maybe you should learn about cleanliness before we get to manners," Alarath said.

Alarath always went through a stage of sarcasm, anger, and insults when in pain. It helped him fight it, and distracted him from his problems.
