true.... but if you stopped a black person from voting.... you'd probably go to jail or something....

it's illegal...

however... if someone refuses to marry you.... you can't sue them or something.... in fact there isn't anything you can do about it

yay tamarin.... eat a dick AGAIN!

if people would pay attention they would understand what I'm saying

I'm not suggesting forcing marriage on anyone.... however, since you can't actually enforce marriage on someone (you can't demand the opportunity to get married even if no one is willing.... if you can't find someone to marry you, then tough, you don't get married)

my point was that marriage is not a right....

obviously the point of what I was saying didn't register with Avatar.....

would you have spelled it out for him again Tamarin? not bloody likely.... you would have told him the same thing I did.... and you know it

I've already heard stories from people saying that they've overheated and ruined their XBox 360's

I guess it heats up pretty fast, and is pretty loud?

heh, so don't play for too long in a row....

although I sit on the conservative side on many issues.... I don't really consider myself fully either side....

there are some liberal ideas that I agree with would work if the world were a different place

most of my political viewpoints come from a religious viewpoint rather than and political party

although I do think that it has become too commercialized.... I also really like getting lots of presents

I honestly wish the "holiday season" had more focus on families and less on how many presents you get

although, eventhough the "best present you can get is to be with your family" or some other cheasy line like that.... I'd still like to get stuff for free

it totally is.... the moment you say you would vote one way somehow must mean that you agree with and support every policy and decision made by that party regardless of whether you do or not.

You could vote republican because the candidate in your area is better than the Democrat candidate.... that doesn't mean you support Bush....

yeah, it's totally a label

oh give it up Avatar

you make Christmas sound like some burden you have to bear

it's a holiday about giving presents (or at least it is now).... people say happy holidays rather than Merry Christmas.... the songs about Jesus are no longer sung in most public schools or heard on the radio.... how less Christian do you want the holiday to be?

Similarities between God and Santa?

White hair maybe?

They both reward you for being good and punish you for being bad.

Not much else is coming to mind.

I see nothing wrong with principle idea behind it

attempting to not seduce men that you aren't married to is a good thing. I don't think women should cover everything but hands and face but I definitely think girls/women don't wear enough clothing. It's just not that sexy.

I also agree that it is hyporisy that the daughter of a top Al Queida member is allowed to dress like that. But of course, the ideas of Al Queida aren't exactly the most positive or sensical of ideas.

Hobo: wow thanks.... you needed to quote me specifically for that?

my feeling on the subject is that if you claim to be part of a religion, then follow the religion the way it is supposed to be...

How many birthdays does your average man have? - 1

There are five apples on a table. You take away two, how many have you got? - you've got 2, and there are 3 left on the table

Before Mt. Everest was discovered, what was the tallest mountain in the world? - Mt. Everest. It was still taller eventhough it wasn't discovered yet.

well, I guess if people want to treat religion that way they can...

picking and choosing what rules they like and which ones they don't.

I'm sticking with either you're all Muslim or you're not. There are probably other denominations that are less strict and that may be how she sees herself. There is no way to define that girl just by using Muslim. There are enough variations in every religion that allow for some moderate variability in interpretation of religous texts.

I personally think that is sad. That's just me. Who needs that much beer?

Christmas should be a time that brings families together except not everyone likes their family and quite often (and this comes from personal experience) things don't always end well.

I don't want to force anyone to enjoy Christmas. You shouldn't have to.

However, I don't appreciate people that don't like Christmas making their dislike so well known to the rest of us. Just becasue you can't have a good time doesn't mean you have to bring everyone down to your level.

[sigh].... did we all just jump over my post? it was the second one... it went like this
