Well, Yes, I read the announcement, to an extent...
And for those of you whome in which know me, know that I am not usually one who follows the guidelines or really cares if this has already been anwsered.
So, I'm going to come straight out and say it...
"What happened to the board?"
Anyone who has the full lay down can give me the scoope?
Get Xeo or someone to hit me up on AIM or something, I would like to talk to him about hosting...
And the cleaning up and starting anew...

Hey hey! I used to have that exact same armoir desk.
At least I do recall it being very similar.
I know there are quite a few of those desks, so it may not be the exact same...
Bah who cares, this rant has urged me to want to go make a real desktop picture thread...

I'm sorry, everyone has a right to their own opinion about music, so I shunt rain on anyones parade...
But I absolutely loath this band.
If you have ever heard of The Used, then please, explain to me the difference between them and My Chemical Romance.
Or, as a matter of fact, any of these other cliche emoXcore bands that I have been seeing so much of as of recent.
They all sound exactally the same.
Same breakdowns (if you would even call them that), same basic scales in the same order.
The same... I find that quite repulsive...

All of a sudden, here I am again!?
I'm honestly quite suprised to see this place still remotely active.
That's absurd!
Living out on your own sure can put quite an impending mark on ones availability.
I just wanted to stop by and say a few things for the sake of times once past.
Maybe I'll go post something in the Photo-album thread or something...
Who really even knows any more...
Sanity is all based under a single concept of ones own perception brought solely upon by memories and traumatic events that develope that indivduals 'perception.'

I'm sorry.
Words of the sleep deprived...

And no, this does not belong in the 'New Game' forum for I am not reintroducing myself, nor do I need to. Nor does it belong in the 'Crazy Non-Sense' section for the vast majority of the things I say, some/most may consider "Non-Sense," when, in fact, it is perfectally sane and logical and all ties back together again in the outro.
So don't move it!
This thread is from here on out, a topic of "General Discussion," and can/will be carried on from here.

Horray! I come back and the first thread I decide to defecate on is, but of course, 'THE PHOTO-ALBUM THREAD!'

Let's take a look here...
I recently found some snap-shots of myself from awhile back that I thought were rather interesting...
Sorry again, no fancy-schmantzy tables with easy to access thumbnails for your viewing pleasure.
Nope, unfortunitally you get the wrath of the original cell phone/photobucket combo of doom!
Take a look-sie:

Image taken from my bad ass cellular and hosted by Shit-bucket.com
Check out those badass Dolce&Gabbana shades man. Woo! Sweats dripping down my face...

'Tis a shame that my brand new (at the time) Old-Navy stretch size 6 jeans aren't in this one. We went through quite a bit together, the jeans and I... :'-( But they made my ass look hell-a small...

So, Click the images to enlarge... I think... :-/

Yes, these were both taken when I first moved into my current apartment a little while back.
I love this complex.
It's called The Metropolis.
Great little place in South Austin, Tx.
Hell, I should even post pictures of just the complex. They're beautiful and all artsy-fartsy etc.

I wonder if anyone will see these?
But then again... Who really cares? 0_o

Signed,

Haha, yet another form of either A.) Irony; B.) Coincidence; or C.) Idiocracy

I tried to hold out as long as I could with the MySpace craze. But, alas... I fell weak and vulnerable to this electronic "fad."
I slowly saw more and more of my peers and aquaintences become fiendish MySpace whores, so I now use it to keep in contact with all my friends in on catagorization.
I only add people I've met in real life though...

http://myspace.com/thejamesm

Go there if you will.
Add me if you REALLY want.
But chances are I'm not going to accept your invitation to be added as your friend.
I only add people I have met on a personal social level, rather than through some damned internet site.

Anywho...
I'm bored...
I think I shall make some Top Ramen and go on a B-DOUBLE-E-DOUBLE-R-U-N!

Haha!
What constitutes as quote "emo," to the kids now-a-days?
If by "emo" you mean, 'do I listen to the musical genre 'emoXcore,' ' then hell no.
I don't feel I need to list my musical preferences at this time.
But I assure you, it lies far from that; granted that alot of it may lay under the favorites list of alot of other "scene-sters."

But, if you mean "emo" as in apparel style, and more recently, trend or "hip-ster," then go check out page one of this Thread and look at the original pictures I posted back in like... what... February or March?
Heh, you might be in for a suprise.
I tend to try and stay away from the eye-liner so much rather than before.

It also tickles my fancy to know why you have such a personal grudge against people of that particular cliche category.
Is it because a particular group of your peers do as well, therefore, influencing your opinion?
If that's the instance, then grow up and learn to decipher your own opinions, rather than have others do it for you. Or at least give a logical reasoning behind your statement so as to not have it appear that you're jealous of a social group because you're stuck living with your parents due to the fact that you can't get away from the computer/video game and anime for two minutes to go outside and find yourself a real life with more pleasureable aspects. (Not that you are that , I'm simply trying to extract and understand your opinion.)

No, silly! You already know the answer!

And the only meaningful conversations about life and/or fruit snacks I believe I can converse upon without upsetting any of the minds of closure, would be a quick and profound statement that I have come to realize over the past 2 minutes that a wise-man once told me...
That is...

Granted, your correct, I tend to see things how some others see them, and yes, my opinions do formulate into that of what others also see. However, I am tired of the Emo culture, just because I have been around said people alot of the time, always complaining to me how their life sucks, and whatnot. If they didnt tell me this shit, I would constitute their 'look' for the most part. And I wasnt trying to say anything bad about you, I base my reasoning off of what the culture sees itself. I can clearly see your an intelligent person, and its fun to have some ruckus here and there. I was just merely asking a question. Anywho, kudos for making a well earned point. And welcome back to the site.

I don't intend to cause any sort of rukkus (most of the time), unless it's a blatant kick in the shins; but I suppose I can see where people may misconstrue my words or actions as to be on the more offensive side, or attacking even.
Nope, not usually... Not me... Maybe every once in awhile, but not all the time.

I also can totally concord to that point of view, to a degree.
But are those little pseudo-goth kids running around not the same way? Or any other subculture that may reside in our current generation.
I think the whole emo genre just got a bad rap for the followers that where involved and the sudden 'IN YO FACE' explosion that's happened over the past few years.

But again, no. I'm not one of those particular individuals who cries themselves to sleep because they lost a girlfriend they had dated for a time period of about two weeks.
I hate Bright Eyes, I don't write shitty poetry/songs. And I don't involve others into my personal life.

And to restitute my statements back to the origin of this topic; here are two more pictures of me, myself, and some other character taken after a long night of fulfulling ventures:

FUCK-ETH YOU!
This one always cracks me up because it's actual intended purpose was to make fun punk kids and their face bandanas.

He must be "emo."
Whatever the hell that may mean seeing as how the dictionary can't even make up a neutral definition...

SO SCREW 'EM ALL! ANY ONE WHO DRESSES LIKE THAT IS NOT AS COOL AS ME AND MY ORIGINALITY!
Wankers...

Originality is dead...

There has been, and always will be "hipsters."

Calling someone "emo" is almost as naive as calling someone a "poser."

Catagorizing a subculture, then complaining about it's existance is an ignorant contradiction to ones own person.

Figure it out. It will come in due time...

But in the mean time, don't in any way confuse this passage as a defense statement for the "emoXcore" subculture/genre.
I loath whinney brats and bad music. To put the two together entitles me to a vomit session.
Either that, or a circle jerk. Depends on which one comes first.
Haha, "comes."

Wow, I love 3rd grade humor.

P.S.
When you say "emo-kids," I think you refer to "scene-kids," as your description is a little to broad.
If you want a more detailed out-look on the subculture known as the "scene" check this link out.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emo#History
It points out the cliche aspects of it all; and most of them are true, alas.

As well as a correct, non-biased definition as provided by WIKIPEDIA:
Emo (an abbreviation of emotive hardcore) is a term now broadly used to describe almost any form of guitar-driven alternative rock that expresses emotions beyond traditional punk's limited emotional palette of alienation and rage. The abbreviation comes from the word emotive. Most recently (from 2002 to present) bands with more lyric driven songs have been mistakingly called emo because their lyrics seem to be depressing and focus on hatred, mostly dealing with relationships. Actually, these bands only take on one side of emo, not all of them. 'Emo' is also used to describe fans of this genre, most commonly teenagers. The term itself originated as a way to describe the music of the mid-1980s D.C. scene and associated bands, mainly Rites of Spring and Embrace, as well as bands such as Moss Icon, and Dag Nasty. The term addressed both the way the band connected with its audience, as well as its tendency to deal more with topics of personal and relationship politics than with the standard themes of rock music, although none of the members of the originating bands invented the term itself, nor purposely applied it to themselves. The label was applied by outside critics or journalists and many acts and fans consider the word itself a pejorative. In recent times however, moreso than with most other musical genres, the term "emo" has been subject to social perception above objective guidelines. What bands are or aren't emo is therefore highly subjective and contested amongst those with an interest in the genre. As a result the term emo has two main uses; as a label for the genre outlined above and as a multi-purpose adjective and umbrella term used to describe a large cross-section of music and popular culture.
