I cannot describe how incredibly sick & wrong I find this. First it was just gross when there was a possibility that it was true, that she really HAD found a piece of a finger in her chili. Then it was even MORE sick & wrong when you found out SHE DID IT HERSELF. There is something very off with that woman...

I seriously almost puked when I first heard about this story. But then again, I have the world's weakest stomach.

I wouldn't leave that person. I've come to realize that relationships are not all about sex. Hell some relationships don't even have sex until marriage (I have a friend like that). If it really is true love, then you find ways to overcome the no-sex issue.

and true love isn't real.... get your head out of the clouds

In my opinion, the thought of true love not being real is for cynics & pessimists. If you can't see that there is a possibility for true love, then there's something wrong with your outlook. Sorry.

I'm a fan of Star Wars, but not to the extreme that I am for Harry Potter. My friend went out & got the "Darth Tater". In her words? "It's so lame, but I just can't resist"

LOL

I'm not seeing it at the midnight showing. Sigh. I'm pretty upset. A bunch of us were going to start camping out today, but my mom didn't go to work. Which means I have no money for my ticket since she was going to buy the ticket for me through her work. I'm so bummed....

I missed that Elara. I was probably setting up for banquet, seeing as how that was the day before banquet. I can't hear it either on mom's computer. But sheesh, that's just dumb. That's something my mom would honestly do on a dare LOL

I've lost my real father, someone who is like my father, & a woman who raised me (my aunt). I know how hard it is. To be honest there isn't much you can say. Just be there to listen, for her to cry, etc. Sometimes that's the best thing.

Even to this day it's hard for me. My father was killed 18 years, my grandfather died almost 5 years ago (this September 1 will be 5 years exactly), & my aunt died 7 years ago.

All of those deaths are still hard to come to terms with. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't miss them.

So again, just be there physically & emotionally. If she needs to vent, let her vent. If you think she wants a response, ask her if she does. Don't feel dumb for asking her what she wants, that's the only way you won't step on toes.

My biggest accomplishments were...

1. Anything to do with Senate. I was Secretary/Treasurer for the 2nd semester in a row, & Christina (President/one of my best friends) & I worked our butts off for a lot of stuff in Senate.

2. David Swallow Jr. event put on by the Native American Club. That was awesome, even though I was sick that day hehe

3. Performing with my guitar ensemble at the CSUF Guitar Festival. That was a HUGE deal for me, I get such bad stage fright!

It seems to be that every season it becomes more & more of a soap opera. Bleh.

Anyway, I do agree. Bo should have won, he's awesome! My fiancee, his mom, & I were so ticked off when he didn't win!

VL really does attract drama & doom whenever he hangs out with us (which is quite often), yet it doesn't touch him at all. Go figure! Last night was a PERFECT example, what with my gay husband there. He has like a force field that prevents drama from affecting him hehe

Congrats on the job!

I found out yesterday that I got a job at the YMCA as a day camp counselor, definitely. They extended me the job offer. I have to fill out paperwork this week, then I have 2 weekends of training, then day camp starts on June 27. Needless to say, I'm a bit nervous. But it should be fun.

I did this, but not to that level & only for a couple of months. In the meantime, I also had my son to take care of, divorce stuff to deal with, schoolwork, guitar practices, etc. So it wasn't like I was doing NOTHING. But still, I hate mooching off my mom, even though she says it's no big deal.

For me, it's just a ton of little things. A little gift like a teddy bear (since I collect bears), cooking me dinner or even getting take out & having a mini picnic, going for a stroll, just sitting face to face & talking, someone leaving me a note, etc. All of the little things add up to make a hugely romantic evening.

My metabolism SUCKS! Usually, every little thing I eat puts weight on me.

Around February 2003, about a year after my son was born, I started exercising to get rid of my baby weight. By last November I have lost 85 pounds. You can imagine what kind of shock that was for me, losing that much in a year & 8-9 months.
