| I may not get to see this in time, but....
HOW DO YOU GET RID OF STAGE FRIGHT??? I'm in an 8 person classical guitar ensemble. We had a concert today, & Pockets is my witness. I was SHAKING uncontrollably for the entire first song!! We perform again tomorrow night, in front of a LOT more people. We were invited to play at the Cal State Fullerton Guitar Festival. EEK!!! I'm really nervous. Oh, & please don't say imagine everyone in their underwear. Last time someone said that I almost spit soda all over my computer (my mom). |

| I DID GOOD!!! I'm so happy. Our group did amazingly well, & I made only a couple of mistakes. AND I didn't make a face when I messed up (I have that bad habit). I didn't get AS scared as I usually do.
Darth Katana, I'm sure that is the reason I get nervous. I LOVE playing guitar. It's definitely my favorite hobby. For once I found something I'm pretty good at. I love it. |

| The person that means the absolute most to me in this whole entire world is my son, Michael. That's no surprise. I would give up my entire life & everything in it for my son.
Next would have to be my mom, my grandma, & Pockets. All three are my best friends, though I tend to fight more w/ mom & Nana hehe Pockets is the man I'm going to marry, of course he's at the top of my list. My friends are also important to me: Makura (my little sister), Cyrus (my older younger brother), Elara, WhiteRose, Oni, Zabuza, plus quite a few others in my life who aren't on the board. |

| I love my maiden last name, but I also hate it. My mom has her first husband's last name, & my father insisted I have his last name (Crow). Right now I'm still using my ex-husband's last name (Palmer), but I honestly can't wait to change it back. | |||

| I'm so happy!!!! Two of my bestest friends just called me a little while ago. The conversation went something like this:
Allen: Hey b*tch. Me: Hey jerk, what do YOU want? (laughing) Allen: So are you ready to be a godmother? Me: (very long pause as it sinks in) Wait.... what? Allen: Yep, Jen is pregnant. Me: OHMIGODOHMIGODOHMIGOD!!! Are you serious?!?!?!?! Allen: Yep. So would you like to be the godmother? Me: ARE YOU KIDDING ME???? Of course!!! At that point I started screaming & jumping around my living room LOL Anyhow, there are a few reasons why this is so incredibly exciting for me. 1. I'm an only child. I have a half-sister, but I lost contact with her a LONG time ago. 2. I introduced Allen & Jen. Jen has been my best friend since I was 15 & she was 13 (We are now 26 & 24, respectively.) Allen has been one of my best friends for 8 years now. 3. I was maid of honor in their wedding. 4. My absolute bestest friend Bill is Allen's brother. He is naturally the godfather. I'M SO HAPPY!!! I just had to share before I burst, hehe  |

| In all technical terms, I'm a godmother. But Jen has said many MANY times, including at her wedding, that I'm her older sister & she looks up to me for so much (she actually made me CRY at the wedding!). When I talked to them this morning, she's all "hey Auntie Heather, how are you?" LOL
My maternal instinct took over last night. I'm making a baby hat for her little one  |

| I've had one very scary incident with a stalker when I ran the street team for that actor's band. This girl was so sweet at first. Then she constantly would email me, call me, even tried to find out where I live. When I wouldn't introduce her directly to the actor, or hook them up, she got VERY scary. I almost had to get a restraining order against her. | |||

| Last fall, when I was committed, I was diagnosed w/ manic depression w/ suicidal tendencies. I've actually been committed twice for attempted suicide. I can't tell you what provoked me to try. Your reasons for attempting suicide when you're sick are very different.
But I'm just happy a lot of that is past me now. Things have changed. I'm not in an abusive relationship, I'm closer to my son, I have someone who completely loves & support me, etc. |

| To be totally & completely honest, I was on the opposite side of this in high school. I was one of the popular ones, the "in" crowd.
Up until high school, I was completely & totally a "nerd", I guess. I was more into academics than hanging out w/ friends. I was in advanced classes my whole life, having tested at a college junior reading level in first grade. I also did the usual activities that my mom wanted me to do: Girl Scouts, musicals/acting/singing, band, ballet, etc. Once I got to high school, I became popular. I can honestly say what happened to me was one person thought I was pretty cool & that was it. I was in. I can honestly say I was a bitch in high school, but not to the extreme that some of my friends were. I was mostly the quiet one in the popular group. I was in Tall Flags/Colorguard & Marching Band. Then I got to college, & my first semester there I joined a sorority & realized I was starting from the bottom all over again. I guess I could be considered "popular" at college. I'm not sure, ask Pockets, Elara, Cryus, WhiteRose, GuardianOni, etc. People who know me at school. Anyhow, the whole point of that was, you don't really know what the "in" crowd is thinking unless you're on that side also. For me & most of my peers, it was an insecurity thing. As harsh & bitchy as it sounds, it's easier to address someone else's fears or problems instead of your own. It's stupid, & never the smart thing to do, but that's how it works. The best thing to do is ignore it. Eventually they WILL stop teasing you. They'll figure you aren't worth the time or effort. (Last edited by AngelBayB49 on 05-17-05 11:04 AM) |

| UPDATE: My mom spotted the ring. I know her well enough to know she has (Pockets doesn't even know this, it just happened this morning). She has started dropping hints about how great he is, for helping us out when we're sick, & he's such a great guy, etc. hehe My mom is actually very perceptive. I know she's letting me tell her when I'm ready.
