| Nepotism is illegal if you can prove it, and it sounds like you were fired for no good reason at all. You want to take a step in the right direction, talk to a lawyer about filing for wrongful termination against that asshole.
The other stuff was out of stress. Do some meditation, remind yourself that you are better than some asshole who thinks he can push you around like that, and let it all go out of your mind so that you can refocus on the shit that is important right now. STILL no word on the cost of the plane ticket. Seriously, fuck you, International Student Services. How long does it take to book a flight? Fuck you, Sam's Club. The Wireless center is taking shit because we may not meet budget this month... we have to sell 16 phones by August 31st to break even. The district manager is giving us crap for it... but we went almost the entire month with NO iPhones in stock. We had twelve people on a waitlist, many of whom were planning to buy more than one; and once we got some in, none of which came in to buy because they had already found them somewhere else. We lost 19 sales in one weekend by our count. So explain to me, oh great and powerful district manager, how the hell we are supposed to make budget when we don't have the fucking phones to sell? |

| I don't think that we should declare war or anything... the situation is far too volatile and murky to be sure of what is going on for that to even be an option (and it isn't last time I checked). But the international community cannot ignore Syria anymore.
All evidence so far points to the Syrian government. Unless someone can explain why the rebels would choose to sneak into government held regions of the city, manage to take control of their missiles, and voluntarily launch them at their own people instead of at their enemies. There are some things that we cannot just ignore and still be considered good human beings. The use of chemical weapons on civilians is one of them... this is turning into a genocide. |

I think that the main thing that needs to be understood is that any action we take is not to end the civil war, it is to send the message that you cannot just use chemical weapons and get away with it. | Everyone is focusing on the civil war instead of the actual reason we are contemplating taking action. It doesn't matter who it is or who it was used on, it is a violation of international law to use chemical weapons and that law was broken.
What is the point of having a law if you do not enforce it? This should be the United Nations job... but Russia and China are cockblocking them from taking the actions that need taking because of their own self interests. |
