I only have one reason why I shower regularly, and that's to stay clean.

Of course, those tiles would make it better.

Battlefield Heroes is a game coming out sometime late this year hopefully.

I watched the trailers for it, and the graphics look very Team Fortress 2. I'd give you some gameplay information but there's very little, and the closed beta only has 110 players in it. Getting into that is a bitch too, when they claim you have to complete a riddle but all they give is a word game, very misleading.

It really just looks to me like Battlefield with a much more cartoony, stylised, unrealistic approach to the game. Plus, it'll be free to play, so it will probably be something to check out.

In this game, you are a creature set to gather up as much of the planet as possible before an evil force comes along and destroys what remains.

How do you go about doing that? Turn everything you want to collect into a part of you!

Essentially a clone of the Katamari series of games, The Wonderful End of the World is incredibly quick and easy to pick up and play, the sound track is great and the controls are incredibly smooth and easy to use... Mainly because your only controls are the arrow keys.

You start off as a tiny swirling mass and can only collect very small items to begin with. This soon turns into picking up tables, chairs and even people.

The twelve levels are all very well designed, each with their own unique themes and designs.

For only $9.99 on Steam, I highly recommend this game to everyone. It's simple enough to be child friendly but challenging enough to entertain the more experienced and older gaming audience.

The good points
Fun, addictive game, great if you already know and love the Katamari series.

Simple gameplay makes it easy to play, but the levels are difficult to master.

The bad points
It can be a little awkward to know first time round what you will and will not be able to eat at a given time.

Objects you can walk through (Like bushes) or moving objects generally require you to be larger to collect them compared with solid objects. This can be a little disorienting.

Pretty easy to get stuck, wasting valuble seconds. I spent twenty seconds trying to get unstuck from under something before.

Overall, I highly recommend this game. There's even a demo with the first two levels if you're unsure.

One thing though, I do recommend buying on Steam. There it's only $9.99, where as on their site it's $19.99.

Well today I just got my grades for my work over Sixth Form, All C grades (Highest being A, lowest pass grade being E).

Now I've just had a discussion with my mum (Well, it was more of her talking at me and bursting into tears near the end) about how I should have done better and how that isn't good enough to get into universities.

I'm just lost at the moment on what I want to do. I mean, one option is continue with what I've got, hope a university will accept me and try and do better in my next year of study.

Another would be to drop higher education altogether and either find an apprenticeship or go into work... I'm not entirely sure how that will work out either.

I'm just lost in my choices and need some suggestions...

Yeah, it's really only my mum overreacting. From what my FRIEND'S parents have told me, I've done pretty well.

True, the US has a lot of the developers, but Britain has the good developers. FREE RADICAL FOR THE WIN!

I get 2 mb broadband for £30 a month... Although that also includes a decent digital TV service and a phone line.

But considering Japan can get 100 mb broadband probably for just as much, it makes it seem like shit.

It's stuff like this that makes me wonder why map editting for most games is either difficult but almost limitless (Unreal or Source mapping), or easy to use but very limited (Timesplitters).

Absolutely stunning graphics and the editor would be the best one ever for a console.

If I've done anything spectacular in a game, I probably haven't noticed it. Mainly because I pay no attention to the 'kill/death ratio' a lot of online gamers fuss over.

I just look at whatever 'score' I'm given by a game. Like TF2 I've gotten several occasions where my score is twice that of second place, putting me in triple figures. I normally get that as a medic though, but sometimes as a Heavy or Demo.

I did manage to come 32 seconds in front of second place on the dinosaur themed level on Double Dash... However it was only on 100cc, but still, I was lapping most of the lower places.

Also, complete Super Mario Bros in 5 minutes 22 ages ago... Annoys me it's beaten by 16 seconds.

EDIT: Just earlier I went on a TF2 server where top player on BLU had about 70 points, managed to meet him at 120 between being Spy and Demoman... I'm surprisingly good at them, despite my normal "Run in and shoot everything that moves" strategy of most games.

This is one of the folders in my external hard drive from the folder "Backup Stuff". That's the bulk of it. Videos folder is largest with a bunch of different TV series and some standup comedy.

Here's some notable folders in my internal hard drive.

The only tabletop games I can enjoy are all the Hasbro or Mattel ones... The simple ones where it's just the players, a board, a bunch of player pieces, a bunch of dice and a load of squares you have to move across to get to the end.

I've tried to play the apparantly simple version of DnD, and I've just not had the money to play either version of Warhammer, although 40k interests me a bit.

There used to even be a club at my school for such activities, although since DnD didn't interest me and because I can't afford Warhammer pieces, I didn't go. I'm just not very good with games with manuals you could beat a Walrus to death with.

EDIT: My friend and I did try to make up some rules for a game involving those little green plastic army men you can get about a hundred for a quid now. I should try to expand on it a bit more... Poorhammer FTW!

I played the official Gunbound for a short while... Never really understood it while playing, since the different weapons didn't do too much and I didn't understand why I couldn't use some of them in certain situations...

However you've got me interested and I think I'll give it a try again.

Yeah, honestly, it's what I called a very well made bad movie. It managed to do the tension just right, the acting was pretty good, and the monster was awesome, but...

Character development = failure.

Scary = failure.

Story = failure.

And seriously, did anyone have any idea what the heck was going on? Nothing in the entire movie was really explained unless you examined it for days with frame by frame examination. Failure.

This coming from someone who liked Harry Potter which failed at EVERYTHING you mentioned. Sorry, had to get a dig on HP some time soon or I would explode.

Unfortunately I've not actually seen the whole movie all the way through, although the part I did see (The first ten minutes or so in Media Studies) seemed pretty interesting.

I had not seen or heard of a movie before where the entire thing was done from the perspective of someone who happened to have a camera at a party. Despite the fact people want films to expand and play with genres a little, but whenever a film does that people blame it for trying something different. People had similar thoughts on the film Vantage Point, but looked too deeply into its factual errors.

I'll try to watch it soon...
