| Well I originally thought that Vulkar had led me here, but that wouldn't explain my joining up before him...
However, on proper thought, I think this is how my story went down: Acmlm's was a link to this place, but I got here directly through Brink of Light forums, if anyone here remembers or knows about that. (It's no longer in existance, and the guy who owned it seems to have fallen off the face of my AIM list, so meh) I found a link to Brink of Light on Acmlm's Board, then from there someone had a link to here in their signature. I liked this place and kinda stuck here. Happy I did.  |

Well I'm pretty damn sure I want to go into computer games design. It's something that's fascinated me from the age of seven when my mum got a magazine which came with a version of Klik and Play which, at the time, was my favourite ever program, although it really annoyed me that I could make sidescrollers but meh, it was fun.

I have however also considered going into writing, considering my mostly positive comments regarding the stories I've written. However I doubt I'll seriously consider it unless my plans in computer games design fail. And if all else fails, it's back to my job in retail. xD

www.110mb.com used to do free MySQL databases and PHP, so Acmlmboards could be used, but unfortunately they removed this feature for free accounts a while ago. However, I haven't been on the control panel of my site there for a while so that might have changed. |

A cloaked, hooded figure walked quickly through the highstreet. The sky was slowly turning black with the approaching night and clouds hung in the air, large in size and many in number, discharging rain in modest amounts. Most of the shops that filled one side of each pavement were closing and the streets were empty, most of the noises coming from the rain and the odd car that went past.

A crack of lightning made the cloaked figure jump and let out a small cry in shock. This and the harsh winds that kept blowing the hood from the figure's head established the person was a male in his mid twenties, brown eyes and short brown hair. For three days he had suffered harsh weather and homelessness, and he was considering abandoning his freedom to return to his small cell back in The Home, despite the horrible tests and exams that were carried out on him and the other inhabitants there. "No!" He yelled at himself. He was not going to give up his freedom. He had to make the most of it, and the first thing he thought he would need was money. However, he had no job, but he had a great power that had been building up inside him since his birth, causing his thoughts to go towards theft. Another person making their way down the street caught the cloaked man's eye. He quickly made his way over and attempted to grab the person, quickly aiming his spare hand to the person's pockets in search of a wallet. (ooc: If you take the battle, you can either be the person my character is trying to pickpocket or another person trying to stop my character from performing the theft.) Jessie and James were both the best and the worst villains in anything, ever. However, their rivals Butch and Cassidy got even lamer during Pokemon Chronicles. Plus, they're not particularly good characters to beign with. At least when Jessie and James blast off again for the fifty-thousandth time it's still funny. |

I think that banning any joke about any race/gender/religion/group of people is stupid. I can understand certain jokes being plain hurtful, but most are in good lighthearted fun and for people to take offense to them is stupid.

For example, any group of people who take offense to South Park's racial/religious/genderous(?) jokes need to get a sense of humour.

Mine only just started two days ago, and I apparently don't return to school until two weeks from this Thursday, which is a bonus.

Unfortunately, it's just gonna be filled with lengthened versions of what I normally do during out of school hours like playing games and hanging out with friends. Having a big game of Age of Empires 2: The Conquerors expansion pack with some friends today though, which should be fun.

I haven't even got Brawl to occupy me! All I'll be doing is watching the rest of South Park I haven't yet seen (The last few episodes of series 4, all of series 5 and the last half of series 11) then I'll probably work on updating my Youtube page with a few more interesting videos. |

Sounds similar to how a lot of Universities here use UCAS points as a way of letting you in, although those are based on topics we choose at age 16 to do as A-Level (Advanced Level) subjects, instead of standard reading, math and writing.
