Hahaha, that was great. Well if they get around to making a third movie... I'd like to see an INTELLIGENT villain. I mean Whiplash was kind of that, but certainly didn't give off that kind of vibe. So far the two main villains just feel like worthless big brutes. |

| I may have brought it up before... but how would you guys compare Brotherhood to the original? I oddly jumped into this new one and still haven't seen the original, but I wasn't really feeling it after 7 or so episodes. | Yeah, I'm just saying like at Metroid Metal (my second usual board besides XG), they only have 4 forums. But it keeps things busy or something.
Granted I think that's too little... and I do like some of the specific forums here like Anime, Classic gaming (even if it's dead), etc. Just stuff to think about I guess. However, I really do think a new banner needs to be made. I might try to whip up something, I dunno. Anyone else wanna take a shot at it? |

| I'm betting we've had this topic time and time again, and I wonder if in every thread for these I mentioned our weiner dog Daisy? Heh, she's like 10+ years old now or something. Finally starting to get gray hairs and she's not quite as hyper as she used to be.
Our other dog is some kind of ... doxin(?) mix, I have no idea. It's funny though, probably because she's been with our weiner dog for all these years, but she is VERY scared of dogs her size. But when they're smaller (like my grandma's dog mentioned in another thread, she's got a shitsu) she's fine, haha. Her name is Zoe and she smells a lot. I'm still devastated my parents got rid of MY (pretty much) cats a few years ago, because of my mom's allergic reactions... yet they kept the dogs.

| DS, you know anything about giant external enclosures for multiple drives? The problem with my new PC is that it's a slim one... I can't even get a second drive in there, and I'm kind of sick of having all these externals (160GB, 250GB, the dead 500GB one, 1TB and a newer 2TB one). I'm going to try and get everything from those small ones on this new 2TB one and might get a second one. The 1TB one is completely full of anime and most of it I haven't even touched.
But yeah, I see an alternative might be looking into those huge multiple enclosure cases, I saw a few recently at a tech shop and most of them looked like alien spaceships or something. |

| I actually did have this computer setup on my 32' HDTV, since it's got HDMI output out of the box. But my room is so jam packed and I had no way to comfortably use the computer there... ie: my mouse was on some box stacked on a magazine for the "pad", and my keyboard was on my lap. lol, was fun while it lasted though. | |||

| Hmm, yeah I just wonder how safe they'd be.
I was going to turn this gigantic old computer I bought from a friend years ago into some network drive and whatnot... until I opened it and noticed it doesn't even have SATA support and it's the ugliest thing I've ever seen. SO, I'll just continue using that tower as as shelf. 
I guess I'll just hold off for awhile and see if I can get a secondary, normal computer and just fill it up with drives. I'd like to do some RAID action eventually, especially after this slip up with my 500GB external... now I'm just counting down to when the others break.  (Last edited by Xeu on 05-28-10 09:21 PM) |

| That's pretty cool (how true the series is staying to the manga). I still think it's a bit odd they kind of redid the series so quickly though, especially after hearing so many great things about the original... but I guess both are different enough and all. I will have to get around to both eventually.

| I actually beat XIII myself a few weeks ago...
I *think* ... it was good for what it was, but had a lot of potential to be a lot more. The last few chapters started feeling a bit cliche' and predictable, but I loved everything up to chapter 10. Not my favorite FF, but a very solid game indeed. I'd actually love to see more RPG's with a similar battle system, the gameplay rocked for sure. |

| To be honest if you ask me, I think oversleeping (potentially your 12 hours of sleep a night) is a lot worse than undersleeping. At least that's how I feel it works out for me. On days that I have nothing to do and end up sleeping in to whenever, getting probably ~10 hours of sleep, I usually end up being restless and lazy that entire day. But when I have a great lack of sleep for a day, it feels like I can end up doing more those days regardless.
This worked out a lot like this during high school. Like you, I'm more than positive my average night was 6 hours or slow throughout all of high school (and probably junior high), yet I was going to school just fine for 8 hours a day, would work afterwards every few days, and keep going. That's me at least. Now the real issue is that I have major insomnia, more than likely get that from my mom. On average it probably takes an hour to fall asleep every night minimum (this is when I'm purely laying in bed), but it's often a lot worse. Sadly I think it's a chronic case though I do know it can fluctuate a lot depending on my schedules and how busy I'm keeping myself. Like last year when I worked a tiresome full time job, I was getting to bed quite a bit easier during those times probably since I was always so tired from the work... (but of course that's the other issue, instead of the lack of sleep... work made me tired!) My mom always tries to push sleeping supplements and pills on me, but I dunno. I've been on some meds here and there and don't mind taking some up, but when it comes to sleeping? The thought of taking any kind of pill to help me "shut off" just simple straight up scares me. It's incredibly weird but that's how I've always felt about it, so I never take anything and just suck it up I guess. To actually answer the question though, lol, I am way more of a night owl. But this goes into another personal issue I've developed over the last few years... I have this weird mindset, that sleeping = waste of time. Nowadays I often just don't even "feel" like going to bed even if I'm tired and 99% of the time I'm not even doing anything important. I don't know how I got into this kind of thinking and I honestly do LOVE literally being asleep and resting up, but actually getting to do it and hop in bed thesedays is sometimes a challenge itself... In the end, I'll be real busy this summer so hopefully this won't be as big of a deal for the next few months. Ironically enough I only got a few hours of sleep last night...
