All my friends love it actually and I've gone through the game with tons of people. |
 , it's an awesome XBLA game, but were you expecting it to top the original anyways? My only real gripe is that the music is pretty sucky, other than that it's worth the buy. I'd like to see beat em' ups return...
Lots of good future XBLA titles on the way though. Shadow Complex is probably going to be incredible, since they've come out and said the gameplay is heavily inspired by Metroid, Castlevania, etc. Serious Sam HD will kick some serious ass (heheheeh, but seriously have you guys seen comparison screenshots? talk about a facelift), and I'm eagerly awaiting the Perfect Dark port, which is also going to sport a sharper resolution and upgraded framerate. Yeah it was fine in the DOA games, but it was just horrible. Apparently in this day and age though, companies can "retry" to develop their game again, as they're doing so with Ninja Gaiden 2 Sigma. It really boils my piss to look at the 360 version and think "Hey, thanks for this broken incomplete Xbox port!" because that's what it felt like. Edit: Didn't see Shuyin recommend NG2. , sorry if I sounded angry. I was just extremely disappointed with it.
ie: Get Ninja Blade instead. Now that game runs great and makes you feel like a God. It was apparently developed by the same guys behind the Otogi series on the Xbox, which I sadly only got a taste of. I think it got decent reviews all around actually, but not huge acclaim or anything. Either way I think the game did kind of go under the radar though.

There's a demo out though, I say check that out and see for yourself. I didn't expect it to be as fun as it was. Also one of the draws is that the quick-action-button sequences (whatever you want to call those) are fucking insane. For the boss in the demo, your character eventually jumps up and swings unto a bulldozer and uses it to crush a huge spider or something. It's hilariously over the top and stylish! (restricted) |

Also destroyed all of my friends tonight at MvC2 ... I beat so many people over and over again. The funny thing is I hardly know the game myself or good teams, but I guess simply knowing how to switch, assist, and pull off the specials makes it different. lol. Also I don't remember liking Strider aside from his badass looks when I played the game a long time ago, but I was going nuts with him tonight.

- Got back into CoD4 again, lol. Been playing that off and on. - Gamefly sucks now. I tried it last year and it was really good, but now, it literally takes up to a week to get games... actually longer. I put in two games in the mail this Monday morning and all they've done up until now is recieve it and shipped *one* game, not two for some reason. Probably gonna cancel it soon. - We usually get together to watch Wipeout on Wednesday's, fun stuff. Japanese Game Show sucks, the reality bit completely ruined it for us. We'd rather watch... you guessed it, a real Japanese gameshow. - Saw I Love You Man this Wednesday too, good stuff. - Still mainly listen to metal, but not the Euro stuff I drooled over a few years ago (all over that metal thread). I tend to go for older 80's stuff thesedays, speed/thrash, etc. - Started to buy some anime, nice boxsets. Iria, Zeta Gundam, Infinite Ryvius, etc. - Still watching lots of anime. Currently into the third season of City Hunter, god I love 80's/90's anime. - hmmm
