Jason Becker > Yngwie Malmsteen. But, its so close its not even funny. Jason Beckers stuff is just so smooth ... When I do possibly learn how to play guitar (hopefully over this summer), both Malmsteen and Becker will probably be my greatest influences. There's other great guitarists out there, like Steve Vai, but Becker and Malmsteen have a heavier edge to them, and that's my stuff.  |

| I'm really .... kind of lost in my life as of recently.
We're moving, again for the 11th time or so, and so I really want to move out and get my own life started, but at the same time I really don't think I'm ready for that. Same goes for going to a college out of state ... and basically completely living and relying on myself, I just don't know if I can do it. It seems so complicated, leaving my family and friends, leaving my job, moving, etc. So just simply and honestly put, maybe I don't have a lot of courage in myself right now? I don't know, my plans right now are to just take it easy, and go to a community college (Johnson County Community College, probably the nicest in the states), continue my studies in animation / game design, and continue working. I'd consider moving out, but only if it were with a select few of my friends. The majority of my friends ... I could never see myself living with. I could just imagine some of them, doing absolutely nothing but sitting on their computers all day, leaving food all over the place, and just really not take care of the place and whatnot. I just don't think I could do that (I like to dream I could move in with a nice girl who would just so happen to be so nice she'd do grocery shopping and stuff, but that's a dream). I am happy to be getting out of highschool though (2 days left for me). I've really gotten tired of it, and have procastinated these last few weeks like no other (not like I never did before, I've just gotten incredibly lazy lately). My grades, could be better, if I would have cared more and put effort in this year I could have easily gotten straight A's, but it looks like I'll get more B's than anything else. I plan to take college this fall, like most, and only take it during the course of a few days a week, and continue working. I don't know, maybe its just this month with graduation, and all this stuff that has made me go a little insane lately. Everything is so hectic, my grandparents won't leave me alone about my "Future plans" and it'll probably just get worse during my 5 hour open house. I just want this month to be over with. |

Honestly you should pick up a handful of those, especially Megaman X2 and The Lost Vikings 2.

Are you sure that was The Lost Vikings 2? I'd be willing to guess the SNES version of that game is -insanely- rare. But so is Megaman X2 these days. Really, those are some pretty rare games. If you're like me, and like to collect games, I'd say try your best to get all of those. If you could only get one, I'd go with Megaman X2. That game is extremely rare, and over the internet it goes for some really high prices. That, and its one of the best Megaman games in the X series, easily. Final Fantasy II is a very good pick also, but I've seen that around a little more than the other games. Ultima 2? Probably incredibly rare, can't say I've really seen that. And as for Sim City 2000, I'm pretty sure I've seen that lying around before for some pretty cheap prices. What were the prices? (Last edited by X on 05-17-06 06:10 PM)

Like I said before, you should probably make a time limit rule. If someone doesn't reply back in their interview within 3 days or whatever, then it should be closed so you can move unto someone else who might do it. |

In terms of a cyberpunk futuristic anime with a female cyborg who kicks ass, this anime blows Ghost in the Shell away in my opinion.

Its been years since I've seen it, but I remember I really enjoyed it. Its just a pure classic. I really didn't care for the OVA sequel though, with the horrifying CG car chase, and whatnot.
But yeah, this short series rocked. It was like BladeRunner, the anime. Sajin: If you haven't, you should also check out Iria Zeriem (spelling might be off). Its a little older like Armitage, but one of my favorite OVA's to date. (Last edited by X on 05-18-06 10:12 AM)

I paid $40 for Megaman X2. $30 for Final Fantasy II. So yeah, definitely pick those up as soon as possible. That's a deal you should not pass up.

I don't think I hate anyone, or have any kind of anger problem. Instead, I think things are stupid, ironic, whatever. Sometimes things in life have pissed me off so much, I find it to be funny. Why? Who knows. Maybe its just the kind of person I've become. I just hardly take -anything- too seriously these days. "Okay ... ?" - is usually my main response for drama these days.

Yeah, there was a small distinction between Marth and Roy (I always favored Roy), but if someone had to pick one of the two that they didn't like as much, they still probably wouldn't really care. Because ultimatly they're very much, almost the same character.

That's just my point. I just hope the characters are more diverse, and more defined this time around. I hope we won't get more characters with the exact same move sets as other characters, but with a different few variations with speed, jump, whatnot, etc. Instead, just give us an entirely new character with his/her own moves, style, etc.

Hmm, maybe it's been awhile but I don't remember it being that violent, compared to GITS. There was a handful of odd nudity though.
