I never really looked at the other Acmlm sites until recently... But I have to say, Xeogaming is the best, hands down! Not only is it run very efficiently, but it is also the most used out of all of the sites!

The two closest are the Ice Board and NFF... And poor NFF barely has any active posters at all!

I just wanted everyone to know that I now raise my glass in favor of board.xeogaming.net!

Here's to the board that we all know and love -- Cheers!

Anybody else who wants to sing a praise, post here.

Yeah, I try to come on here everyday and at least read the new posts -- even though I don't post that much. I come here first before any other board that I go to. As for NFF . . . well, I don't know what to say about that, it was once an active board. * shrugs * Maybe one day it will get active again, who knows.

Hey, I still give props to NFF and the other boards of Acmlm. It's a lot of work to keep a board going and interesting.

Don't be so hard on our brother and sister boards. They also help to build and comprise us.

So hopefully not bringing this party down, huzzah for Xeogaming!

Well, let see... If one would say that only one location is the best in his/her opinion but without a constant approval by every people anywhere, would be completely invalid. Also, another likely although not forcefully scenario would bring itself down since your opinion may be vague to other people, thus creating a tension between of what you say and how thing actually are. I.E. Low poster activity.

I understand what you are saying but this is close to “Hey, I’m addictive to this and… 3 months later, I wasn’t interested in this anymore,” feeling. I’m not speaking in bad manner, I am merely pointing out the information of what my opinion of your observation may be.

While I do appreciates NFF (Sumi-masen, VG) and stuff, it doesn’t compare to stuff I am already learning for now. Hajimemashite, VG. Watashi wa Seticus desu. Nani-sai desuka. Dozo yoroshiku. But saying something about the board to the best quality will give the other people the idea often expressed as bluffing around. Think as this way, if Ice Board was popular before it got killed, if Nihon-go forum was butchered when it was getting its popular and unique methods of learning nihongo lesson, why is everyone flocking here and then ditch us all of the sudden?

And by lot of works, I think you and sometime a person with the most description in his/her post work their hardness to reveal more intellectual description, as opposed to making a common statement well-known, would be considered a hard-worked person. It is not like someone banning over a silly excuse would be a person who work hard, you know?

I am not here to bash, I’m here to be honest because it is much better then to tell a lie, hoping that everything would be just like a peaceful for eternality.

Seticus, I don't know where you get your ideas, but please refrain from distorting my words. For your own good.

By what I said, the owners of other boards have come to Xeogaming and helped to create new facets to our board which they either utilize on theirs or thought to add later. They came of their own free will and aided in our growth and in so brought members of their boards who also wandered over and added to our board's diversity.

By your warped logic, you make me sound like if I were speaking of the U.S. and immigration that American government officials stormed Europe and Asia, dragged people from their families and made them come to work here in our factories and shops and dig in the mines.

If you would better articulate your ideas rather than senselessly attack people for what they say out of the best of intentions, you would find people more open to answering your inquiries than your ridiculous onslaughts.

And what power are you speaking of? These are message boards, not monarchies or rebel battalions staging a coup.

Now if you would be so kind as to add something more positive to a thread dedicated to raising morale, your comments would be better appreciated.

Back to the main topic at hand, yay Xeogaming.

To be honest Seticus, I've joined and ditched a lot of boards. I nearly did Ice Board, I did do Acmlms, and a lot of other big boards I've left.

So what made me stay here? Well, really it was the lack of insane activity. I don't enjoy it when I post on a thread and I have a novel to read an hour later in that very thread. It gets irritating.

So, To Xeogaming *drinks, the suddenly realizes his cup is empty* oh yeah, I don't have alchohol, I'm Mormon.

Heh heh heh he comes and does something that really got people to be irratated. Thats beowulf for you. What he was talking about with the monarchy was that the staff banned XMTS and whatnot because of their personal feelings towards them and spartan and what not (at least thats what I think his side of the story is) This thread is the biggest brown nosing thread ive ever seen. Im allowed to say it and god dammit I will! Thats why I threw tissues earlier to clean the brown off the noses. Raise morale if you think its what it serves.......but this is clearly just sad.

And let them say what they like. I'm sure Xeo's smart enough to notice if someone's kissing his ass. Either way, Nelrith is in no way breaking any rules if he so chooses to post such a thing.

By all means, I wasn't brown nosing. If I wanted to do that, I would send a lot more PMs

All I wanted was to make a good, clean thread where people could actually come out and say what they like about Xeogaming Forums. They can also say what they dislike for all I care! You can completely hate the boards, but as long as you're not breaking any rules, who cares?

What I wanted to get across is that the board has been through a lot, just like the other sites, and has made it through better than any of them, and we should be thankful for that!

Not that I have anything against NFF or the Ice Forum, its just that the other Acmlm boards just aren't as well done as this one. It really shows in the numbers!

In all honesty, if NFF became more active, I would post there a lot! But I went there last night to see that it was rather dead, besides from a few stoic posters. I mostly made this thread to honer what Xeogaming has come through!

All opinions are welcome, but if this turns into a battle, we might as well put this in the Debate Shrine -.-;

Mmm... How should I put it this way...? Charms? Actually, let me clear it up for you. Supposed if person A would claim this board is the best. Person B came and hear person A's advertise. They joined up, everything gone great, but it is starting to attract similarity of what you mentioned in Gaia Online thread. No matter what, people will say stupid thing. Avoidable? And by my warped logic again, not only you said to make it for yourself, but saying that sound like you want me to be the bad guy. How is it that we don't know if you are actually the bad guy either? What I am saying is that you can't always trust people, not even for a second because chaos can happened at anytime. This is why basically you and I are on the "winning" war, spreading lies to cover the honest truth, only to get what we want. It doesn't sounds like it but it is possible and already may be done.

*Sigh* Rogue, for sake here... Just bear with me. You say something positive, it raises morale. Do it again, it's continues to revolve over one thing. If betrayal happened, it's over. So why am I being so "negatively-put" as most people would put me this way? Simple answer: Because having too much positive would eventually strip and kill the meaning of what you are trying to achieves. I'm not saying that Xeogaming is being "the best" as some would put it that way, it too have flaw. You can't call it the best because one person says so. I'm saying that Xeogaming would eventually led to much unneeded babysitting and would need to prove much truth and opinion feeling, rather much unneeded bluffing or positive environment to make yourself "look better."

Think as this way... Out of many people, we have too much positively people cooing and babying other to "make them feel hopeful." But eventually, it become much unneeded where you built one too much hope and get betrayed in the end. That's a lot like having your dream of your life being crushed when you are only 1% away from completing it.

And having too much negative would be simply saying as an insult and bashing the much unneeded drama but help toughen a person up and to become stronger.

Put negative and positive is like having same amount of holy and dark together, you create a balance there. This is why I (the dark side) always stated my most blunt "truth" while you (the light side) only make thing feel right. Putting one into much good, you'll basically bond too close and one shit happened, you'll feel bad right away. Same for the dark, too much darkness, everyone would hate. Get it?

I never said directly that he was breaking any rules. I only said that his post have flaws, rather then just rooting it, there are still problems needed to be fixed. You can’t really say that “this guy is the best” when in fact he gave you a excellent sword, but at the result of losing your hard-work player. Xeogaming have flaws that few can’t say it is the best, only decent to be helpful.

Personal feeling? Sorta, but that would implies a contradiction but my reasonable argument is this. What if by a method can be used to trick one person to get caught to trigger a chain reaction to get another person in trouble? Hit two birds with one stone. Most of the time, I see the staff doesn’t share much on much more reasonable logical that hints what MAY happened. But I feel like you guys could do whatever you like, and thus getting away with it. Reasonable or not. This is why I do state straightforward often with Vulcan. You can’t TELL, but you can use a much procedure to proof it under the answer is there.

A great example is that other board I went (I won’t mention it) is that the root administer find that two people are sharing two different accounts but met a certain problem when one of the staff come across with it. They banned both of them, talked to them, and over time (thus with gaining more proof) eventually found that they are TWO separates people, not one. Admitting it, they apologize to them. Something the recent staff doesn’t do well at. You guys are most like to bans due to a problem you WANT to solve quickly as possible but don’t care how they make their opinion much more valid.

Rogue, please, just don’t say thing that are one-side of the information. By that, I mean, stating a much obvious fact without much evidence or same evidence being used over and over that won’t serve it purpose anymore. That’s how it is. Xeogaming is just decent at best. Saying it is the best is like saying your enemy is so weak, you can crush him/her like a bug. Saying it doesn’t COME true. Working it does. Something you have made this board a little unique but the rest doesn’t seem much on helping that part up.

Well, if you think about it... Anyone could have done that yet it is that independent (x) that can cause the dependent (y) to feel that they must take action if requirement doesn't meet. The only thankful you might want to add is toward Thexare's RO which effectively contribute by much. I'm only thankful is being myself, since not much of the board does make me feel right. In fact, listening to their fact/opinion made me feel like they don't care, they are "right" 100% of the time. I know I am not, but I always put thing in EVERY possible situation to find a much effective solution, not always saying: "Hey, I'm right, you're wrong! You are just using one stupid statement over and over, yet you can STILL do this possible evidence that explain why innocent can be killed and not the criminal."

Why certainly, Thexare. Allow me to say it much shorter for your nicely put personality.

Just because you think everything is going alright does not mean it will be. By putting one too much in so much positive feeling, not only you'll get people to think that you are gay, but even make this whole damn board "homosexual". Literally. I'm not referring to Zabuza gay (hell, Zabuza doesn't even feel like gay to me. I guess you already kicked my ass there.) but gay as in term of weirdness. Acting one too nice, you really pushing people to think that "Oh, how wonderful, this person is going inspire but really making it worse."

Meanwhile, having to be serious is much better then overdoing on the niceness term. You can say whatever you like, but just don't even say: "I share the same feeling." You don't. Don't even say: "This board is the best." This opinion will changed so why bothered saying this? You might as well say this in the future: "This board sucks. Where are the inspirations?"

By preventing on how extreme kindness would give the people to feel more comfortable, also being serious and aloof would actually purchases their respect in return. Helping someone to get too close to you, you might as well say: "Dude, bugger off," and he/she won't ever come back.

In case you still can't understand, it would be wise to fully ignore me since you would basically make yourself look mostly confused person and doesn't grasp the simple concept.

All I've gathered is that there's something you don't like here. The problem is that I don't see a single post of yours where you're not arguing with someone, complaining about the board, or as is usually the case, both. It's starting to look like you're complaining just to hear yourself type, as many of us have proven unable to find any legitimate complaints in the majority of your posts.

Note: I don't read Xeogaming's Simbattle/RP forums.

I didn't want this to become a flame thread, Seticus! If you're just going to keep targeting other people for what they have to say, please, do it somewhere else. Making a message long is no excuse for it being spam!

If you don't agree with someone with what they posted, just say that. Its not hard. Just say, "I don't agree with you" and provide one or two reasons why! Don't just go saying that the person is wrong!

I started reading through the post in this thread, and got a little bored after a while. I just wanted to comment on your "Xeogaming is the best, most used, etc." Saying Xeogaming is the best is just your opinion, but I do have to agree with you on that. It's one place where I actually feel welcome, unlike Acmlm's. As for most used, not true. Acmlm's, for one, is more used, but besides that, my board used to be more used than this one until a few people decided to reveal some holes by using them, in which case I closed the board, and then lost much activity after I reopened it. It's closed again for I don't know what reason, but it used to be very active. Another board that runs on AB that is used more than this is The W, which is some popular board that has about the same amount of activity, if not more, than Acmlm's. There are a lot of sites out there that run on AB, so just by viewing a select few of them can't give you a accurate conclusion. I'm just saying, do a little more research before you say something.
