It kinda ticks me off when people spell "doubt" "doupt" with a 'p'. I see it often. Like around here, and it just bugs me a bit. It's tolerable, but reall,y doubt is easy to spell. I myself have a number of typos which tick me off. I'll sometimes mispell words like remember, as rmember.

| heh you don't get it because 1337 speak is something I have to spend time reading. But that's just people right there, anyway when I speak and when a true redneck speaks are two different things.
The thing about the south is that there is no pressure to be civilized down here. So if there's someone important here we have to be REMINDED to speak to him or her as mannerly as possible. Now that's what it's like in Harris County and Muscogee County here. |

| Well, not just here. It happens once in a while here, but as in the internet as a whole. =/
What would be really annoying is someone who uses abbreviations for almost everything. Instead of writing "Hey, I got a new PC Today", they'd write "HIGANPCT". I doubt (look, there's a 'doubt'!) anyone would do that though.  |

| Theres a guy on my board who has terriable puncuation and spelling. And he abbreviates almost EVERYTHING he posts. Also, if you look at almost all of his posts, he puts that freaking (LOL) everywhere...

| Hmm.. just thought of this. You know when you were younger, you thought there was only one version of "there?" Just simple, plain ol' "there?"
Well, in about 3rd or 4th grade, you are introduced to the other "there"s (they're and their). When you learn that there are other versions of the same word, you are also taught the meaning. It just dawned on me that if you are educationally advanced enough to know that there are other 'there's in existance, then how come you don't know the meaning of each one?!?! Your teacher isn't just going to say "Oh by the way class, you can spell 'there' three ways: T-H-E-R-E, T-H-E-I-R, AND T-H-E-Y-apostrophie-R-E" and ot explain the meaning. |
