| Heh, it's funny you should post that. There are actually pictures of American school children, from back in the '50s or something, saluting the flag with that hand gesture. That was just what they used to do. I think they were saying that they used to have them pointing their palm sideways, though.

From that angle, it seems easy to tell that he was just waving to people like presidents do because they have no life. But since it's in this thread, and since there are plenty of Bush-haters out there, it's clear to see the intent, thus making it slightly funny. EDIT - Elara, sometimes I have to right-click, click view image. SOmetimes that doesn't work, so I have to right click, click "properties," and paste the image's URL in the browser window. Once it shows up there, I can usually view it in the intended thread/wherever. Kinda weird. (Last edited by Evo on 10-12-05 07:25 AM) |
