Okay, Elara and Makura will debate evolution. After some new information, I conclded that Elara will be for evolution, and Makura will disagree with it.
This match will last a week longer than expected, as Elara must be gone for one week. This will end in exactly one month, when I shall post who won. (Last edited by Vulkar on 07-27-05 02:08 PM) |

Wait, so I'm for it and she's against it? I think that is what you ment, but I shall wait for clarification before posting my argument. | |||

These are really weird Vulkar ...
It thought you were just going to make threads with a specific topic, and then have users debate. But this? I don't think this is going to work out so well. |

Yes Elara, that's what I mean.
And Xeo, it will work out fine. This is a contest on skill with words, not skill with belief. |

I'm confused. Who is for it and who is against it?
This isn't cool..I'm pretty sure both of us are pro-evolution. I have no problem arguing against it (as difficult as it may be), but can we just clarify who is arguing what? |

I am arguing for evolution, you are arguing against it.
And since I'm posting this here to clarify, I shall let you start Makura. |

Okay, I accept your surrender.
Um... just so I have some sort of info that I posted... Evolution is a valid concept as evidenced by the work of Charles Darwin, who's documentation of the Galapagos finches clearly shows that geographic and thusly reproductive isolation led to the evolution of different subspecies of finches as each colony adapted to it's environment on their respective islands. If finches can branch off from each other in such a geologically short period of time, it is not hard to imagine that humans could have branched off of some ancestral ape just as chimpanzees and bonobos have, thus explaining why we have mostly the exact same DNA and other such simular features. |
