I went ahead and voted for Return of the Jedi.

I can't really decided between ESB and RoTJ, but I'll just go with RoTJ because the outcome and ending is incredibly emotional and awesome.

I seen them, I just hate them. Damn, I just copy the poll...

Actually, the reason I hate them is that even through they are frickening long, it just disappoint me that some of them are missing out on something that suppose to be interesting.

I don't know very much yet, but the whole Star War series seem somewhat not interesting. I do watch them... except it just doesn't seem somewhat a good and futuristic show.

Which episode was it when the guy hit the control board to make the space thingy fly? was it Hans Solo who did it?

XD I sound like a freaking heretic now. lol Because I haven't seen it at all lately. I must get the Holy Trilogy.

Uh... well, I've only seen all of Episode 1 and Episode 3. I've seen bits and pieces of 4-6 (at 10, I couldn't sit still unless I was playing videogames), and none of Ep2.

Until I see all of 4-6, my vote goes to Revenge of the Sith. But I'm sure that'll change after I see the rest of those.

I voted ESB. Hoth made me giggle, It was the first time ya saw Yoda, Vader was all uuber cool in this movie, it changed the serires for the better, it defied the law that the 2nd of a trilogy is always the weakest, and it was all that...AND A DELICIOUS BAG OF LOW-FAT POTATO SKINS HARDNEND BY HEAT!

Nope. I just love how those Lord of The Ring movies are. I just let my Aragon screwed up with Gimli. XD

The problem I see in Star War was that it seem to missing something behind of the whole war or a massarce. The Lord of The Ring? Clearly, monster + human appearance don't mix very well, and I thought it was very well detailed story as well. Not to mention the graphic and plot was very organize while Star War should have gone like Episode 1 to 2 to 3 to 4 to 5 to 6. Not 4 to 5 to 6 to 1 to 2 to 3.

I just didn't like how there are too many lightsaber hitting together to give a huge bright flashes. That almost give me a seizure!

Beside, unlike Star War, they went backward in time (Although Episode 4,5,6 came out first, then made Episode 1,2,3) it leave a nice plothole if you are going backward and forward.

And the A long Time Ago, in the Galaxy far, far away... I think it is just getting to old for that and Vader should have rules our galaxy from the start. *nod*

I thought it was neat how Lucas mades the Episodes 4-6, than 1-3. You watch 4-6 and how the galaxy was saved and all that, then with Episodes 1-3 you learn of the past, and all that. It was just an interesting way of making it, leaving people wondering what happened before.

If you were saying something is missing behind the whole war...are you saying you don't understand why in Star Wars there was a war, or...? Well, 4-6 is obvious. Rebels rebel agaisnt empire. 1, the Trade Federation is a threat, and is "controlled" by Sith. Sith = bad and must be stopped. 2 - 3 Clone Wars. To stop the CIS from taking over.

Anyway, I pick ESB. It was just a very good movie. A good twist, kinda darker as the bad guys win and the Dark Side is shown more through evil caneival Vader. There was emotion with the father-son discoverance, and it was just altogether well done. ROTJ was good, and ended wll, but I didn't like the Ewosk very much and thoguht it was stupid how powerful Droid army had trouble against the Stormtroopers/Clonetroopers, while Ewoks kicked their asses with Rocks Yeah, the rebels did most of the work, but those rocks obliterated some of those Stormtroopers.

A New Hope was good as well. Good start. And Revenge of the Sith was also, indeed very satisfying. But ESB is my favorite.

Beo: Lucas had the entire Saga done in story before he even made the movies. But since he was a stand alone self producer, he didn't have a lot of money at the time so he choose the one movie out of the 6 that they thought they could pull off.

They weren't even going to make V and VI into a movie until they saw the success in IV.

According to Lucas from the Life Achievement Awards show that they recently had on him, he wanted to go back to do 1-3 because of today's technology. It was possible to do Pod-Racing, possible to go to Courascant, etc.

So yeah, just clearing some of that up ...

I really enjoyed RotJ, the ending was emotional and it really brought the first trilogy together in a nice "good guys" win ending, where as RotS (if you saw the 2nd trilogy first) left you feeling like the universe would be engulfed by the sith. I enjoyed all 6 episodes for the story, and the movies themselves, but as for the complaints on the 2nd trilogy, I dont really care, Im a story kinda guy.

You really should see the movie before you vote for it.

Anywho, I chose Empire Strikes Back. It was a hard toss up between that and Return of the Jedi (I love the Ewoks and Endor), but Empire had the best moments... the "Luke, I am your father" line, as well as the first appearance of the Imperial March theme, and Princess Leia telling Han Solo that she loves him (and Harrison Ford's famous ad lib "I know")... an Yoda, you can't forget Yoda.

The Empire Strikes Back. The entire Battle for Hoth scene is very good, and where Darth Vader tells Luke that he is Luke's Father is very dramatic.

Return of the Jedi, by far the most epic of them all. Luke took down Vader, and vAder took down Palpatine, and Lando took down the Death Star II, and Vader was not puny Hayden Christenson.

Actually, Lando was not the one that fired the shot that took out the Death Star. That would have been the Sullustean sitting next to him. And you can not forget Wedge.
