| My friend was over playing games it got late around 4 or so and we decided to go to bed hes sleeping on the floor im sleeping on the bed we start going in to a descussion about a medium His sister knew.
(ever seen a haunting in Georgia same girl she lives in my county) any ways the bridge is supposed to be so haunted that just about every night if you go out there and put your ear to the road you'll hear a baby crying note the name cry baby bridge. Cry baby bridge is supposedly haunted by the ghost of a baby from cival war times whos mother threw in. (i think the mother was just crazy i cant remember). but the bridge next to it is supposedly haunted by the mother who was killed by the villagers for throwing the baby in. if you go there at night the mother will chase you away shes even been known to throw rocks at people. if you have this encounter she'll make sure you leave as soon as you get into the car and look into the mirror shell be starring right back at you till you get off the bridge. un less you say the special words which even my friend couldnt remember. after the story me and my friend started talking about how ghost happen and whether or not we are suppossed to know. even stating that if we get too far close to the truth about every thing in existance that God will make you forget or stray off the subject . and as we were talking about this. we start getting spooked because every thing we say is logical i cant remember what we said at tat time either. but i remember the feeling we get so spooked we decide to turn on the lights they blow out. so now were really spooked i go to turn on the bathroom light they dont blow they just stay off. but then i try it a second time and they work. me and my freind believe that what happened that night to make us forget was exactly what we were talking about. |

| This is sorta off subject but there is a bridge just out side Lagrange in Georgia that if you go across it at night you cna hear the fighters of the civil war marching and yelling. But the one about the baby is true i believe. I've only heard about it though. I might go check it out. | |||

| I've read somewhere about cry baby bridge, it seems more reasonable than a lot of the urban myths out and about now. But that is a bizarre coincidence that that happened to you. Are you near cry baby bridge? | |||

| Well, I think you two just scared yourselves so much that you forgot. It happens. Of course it is possible that a spirit decided to try to contact you.
I find it entirely possible that the story of Cry Baby Bridge is true, but as for the one with the mother, I think that is most likely just a urban myth. There were many violent deaths in Georgia and other states because of the Civil War, so I am sure that many places are haunted by the echos of the past. It must be facinating to hear them. Have any of you ever gone to those places? |
