| Anybody planning on seeing this movie????
My best friend, my fiancee, & I all went to a midnight showing last night. It was so incredibly awesome, & I'm very much NOT a comic book fan. I had both of them whispering in my ear, telling me who people were, how the related to the story, etc. I've seen enough of the Batman movies to understand certain parts, & why they were significant. All in all, I recommend it. My fiancee will probably pop in here & agree. Heck, I was just happy "Sirius Black" was in it.... He played Lt. Gordon. |

| Dude, this movie looks incredible.
Seeing how awesome Superhero movies have become over the recent years, I wouldn't be so surprised if it turns out to be the best Batman movie out there. (I only liked the original, and Batman returns though. Batman is way cooler when he's alone, the way it should be). But yeah, I'm seeing this movie tommorow with a few friends, I've definently been looking forward to it. The previews haven't looked really amazing, but it's Batman, so this better be good.  |

This movie was thee shit. It was by far not just a movie, but an incredible experience. It is easily the best Batman movie in my opinion. It's dark, it's serious, and it's great. The soundtrack seriously moves this movie, and it's something I'd seriously like to get my hands on. There was only one major problem with the story, how Bruce's parents died. From what I can remember according to the comic and original cartoon, didn't Two Face (or possibly the Joker) kill his parents? In the movie, it seemed to just be some regular guy. But, that didn't bother me when I saw the progression in this fantastic movie. I liked the theme of "Fear" throughout the movie. With Bruce's maturing, and from the Scarecrow (I used to hate him). This movie was seriously pulled off perfectly. I'd give it probably a 9 out of 10. A MUST see. It's not a movie, it's an experience. Even if you don't care for the comics, or the Batman himself, you'd still probably enjoy this movie unless your'e extremely picky. Go see it. (Last edited by Xeomega on 06-16-05 10:46 PM) |

I was expecting Jim Kerry as the Joker...  Looks like my friends were liars... 
DUDE!!! SO AWESOME!!! Xeo... in the comics Bruce's parents were killed by normal ol' people too... I remember this comic where Bruce had a flashback (I'm callin' him Bruce instead of batman, because he was called Bruce by this crazy dude...) and his parents were mugged and killed.
I ALLWAYS hated ScareCrow! The whole concept of the character was so cool, but I just hated the way they pulled it off in the comics and show... he fucking sucked then... If you guys don't remember him, then think back to the oldschool SuperFriends... yeah... Legion of Doom, now you remember him... In THIS movie however, he was Cool! ((Took me until they said his name for me to realize who he was... I was like "Who the hell is that guy?" until the guy said "ScareCrow")) Yeah... I was seriously expecting this movie to suck... but it didn't... this was like... the farthest thing from sucking that I can think of... THA NINJA SHELL GAME FEAR SCENE RULED!!! *coughs sputters and dies* That was possibly the best action movie that I have ever seen!!! OMFG!! GO SEE IT NOW YOU IDIOT! ... Unless you've allready seen it... then you're just sorta stupid... because you haven't seen it 20 fucking times...
Yeah... I really liked it... X_x An' the NAME of the movie makes room for a sequel.

| I loved the Scarecrow in this movie. For some reason I was drawn to him. It was kind of weird.
I was definately surprised at how good this movie was. In fact critics are showering it with praise as well. Good movies usually never get the credit they deserve.  |

| This was probably the best of the 5 Batman movies; which restores hope in DC comic book movies all together seeing as Marvel's glory has started to rust a bit.
There were a lot of little things that made me laugh while most of everyone else in the theater didn't, though I suppose this adds to the diversity of the audience rather than just the comic book fans. With the streak of decent comic book movies (starting with Sin City on), I'm looking foreward to Fantastic 4 (though more for Human Torch if anything). |

Fantastic 4 for me ... eh, I don't know about it. 
Yeah superhero movies have gotten incredible, but that movie looks like it'll be more like a comedy than series. Still, I'll probably end up seeing it. But yeah, I saw this movie again last night. I can officially say, it is now my favorite superhero movie, ever. The person who did the soundtrack is Hans Zimmer, who also did the score for Black Hawk Down, The Last Samurai, The Ring 2, and other movies. So yeah, he knows what he's doing (and it seriously shows in this movie). This movie is just incredible. Even if you're not much of a comic / cartoon Batman fan (like AngelBayB49), you'd still probably like this movie, because it is a seriously good movie. Everyone go see it! |

| Batman begins owns. I saw it on Tuesday an really liked it. Easily the best super-hero movie, along side with Spider-Man 2 (I thought that was realy good too. Better than the first). I loved the darkerness (made up word) of it all, and the whole "hero of the night" thing. This is how Batman was meant to be.
I wonder if they'll remake the first oen again, considering the ending, and how they changed some of the stuff in it (in the first Batman movie, the Joker killed his parents, eh? In this, it was a "mugger"). And I can vouch on the Scarecrow being awesome. He was cool.  |

| Yeah, I thought the Joker killed his parents too but people have recently told me elsewise, I'm guessing maybe the old movie didn't follow the comics on that or something?
From the looks of it though it does seem like they'll possibly just be remaking the original movie, although I'm sure it will be 100 times different and better. I'm hoping to see the BatJet (what was the name) in the next one. |
