| ...anybody do the War Driving thing? Need an explanation? Okay, wardriving involves driving around with an internet device (PDA, laptop, etc.) using a WiFi receiver (802.11a,b, or g) looking for open networks and mapping them, either for personal or public use. Nothing malicious, yet gray area as far as legality issues.
Just wondering. I'm sure someone's going to close this down because they don't want to venture into anything that could prove remotely interesting or illegal. I get bored. I have a laptop with wifi capabilities and GPS unit. I drive around, and download stuff. I jack Starbuck's connection. I borrow from my neighbor. I borrow from my cousin. I borrow from school.
