Every time I try to use Windows Media Player on MY name the computer restarts. I sign on my name deliver the error report, being the good girl that I am to my mom. And try it again. BUT IT STILL RESTARTS!! I'm getting tired of this. I really want to clean my house and listen to my music at the same time... I have no clue what's going on.

But what I got was that it crashed... from the many error reports saying that I had to manually fix it, but the truth is, as computer conscious as I am I really don't know how I can fix it.

Honestly, I don't know what to say either ... have you downloaded the latest WMP? (It's either 9 or 10)

If not, defininently do that.

Or, I'd recommend you get WinAmp or something else.

I don't know, there's a lot of other media players you can use, but personally I've always liked WinAmp.

Like Xeo said, either update or switch players.

I recommand Media Player Classic, because it owns.

I guess I should do that. I'm going to have to ask my mom about it, but I'll see what I can do. ANYWAY thanks.

I hear a lot of good things about that player, can't say I've really used it though.

Just so you know, if this happens again, shut down your computer for twenty seconds(properly and after your PC has reloaded.) and activate it again. Don't use anything until your PC has completely loaded.

This works with 2000, but I'm not sure about XP or the others.
