This is easy ...

- Final Fantasy VI
- Deus Ex: The Conspiracy
- Red Faction
- Suikoden I and II
- Breath of Fire IV
- Sonic CD
- Blaster Master

Yes, I'm sure some of you have played some of these games, but I hardly ever see them mentioned, and honestly, these are games not to miss out on in my opinion.

(In the list I realize FFVI is very popular, but I thought it was much better than any of the FF's, including FFVII-FFX, when the hype factor surrounds those)

So, what's your list?

- Perfect Dark (easily one of the most awesome FPS ever made, yet I still see people taking Goldeneye over it when Perfect Dark has 29494 more things)
- The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker (so what? It's cel shaded and looks very cartonnish... big deal)

For now, I can't think of any other (and if I did go on what games aren't metionned and that I think should be, my list would be long (and would include the Tales series)

I'll have to agree with all of those there, only ones on that list that I havent gotten to play much of are Suikoden I, Blaster Master, Sonic CD, and Deus Ex. But I have always heard great things about these games espically Blaster Master I need to download a ROM of it if i can find it anwyhere or get a good old NES and get the game!

One game that I would add to the list is Kingdom Hearts. I know many people say this game sucks because of all of the diseny characters. I mean all of us have said this at one point even I did. That was back in Junior High and when I thought FFVII was the greatest to. Just recently picked this game up and I love it so much. The battle system is what really gets you hooked its so much fun one game that I can compare it to is the Seiken Denstesu series. The battle system is pretty much like that but has its own different taste to. Story isnt bad either its actually top notch and seeing all the disney characters is really cool. I use to hate most of the disney movies but now looking back I just think there instant classics now, but nothing can compare to Aladdin I mean Robin Williams as the genie cant get any better than that. I just think if people actually played the game they would change their mind about the game and see what there is acutally a good solid game. Square did an excellent job with this and I can't wait for a sequel!

Well... I don't really have any underrated games. Or many games no one ever heard of.

Though, SMB2 does receive its share of undeserved bashing...

One I'm amazed you guys never mentioned Ico for the PS2. This game was freakin stellar. The story was great, the visuals were fabulous, and the gameplay was well over that of more commonly renowned games. God damn generic box art.... If I managed to find a copy, I would somehow magically buy it.

Another one on my list is easily Metal Arms: A Glitch in the System. This game was just an amazingly enjoyable experience, from start to finish. The cut-scenes were moments of absolute hilarity, and the gameplay was more than what action fans could ask for, what with hacking into enemies 20 times your size and controlling them.

These games were just... wow.

That's actually what I've been mostly playing these past few days. It's a classic, no doubt.

Megaman Legends (64, for me). I liked this game. And I've beaten it countless times. Not really one of the popular ones of the series.

Windwaker. I thought it was okay. It wasn't bad or anything, and I was fine with the cartoonish look of it. I liked the fighting system of it. The whole counter thing and all that.

Anotehr Megaman Game. Megaman X Command Mission. I don't know about some places, but I never hear it mentioned. It was fun to play, for me.

Most underrated, eh?
Alien Storm (Genesis)
A beat em up with aliens, and some first person shooting sequences.
Firepower 2000 (SNES)
A top down shooter in which you pilot a jeep or a helicopter and destroy shit with 5 unique weapons. Awesome game, despite a crap ending.
James Bond: The World Is Not Enough (N64)
An FPS released late in the 64's life that may actually surpass Goldeneye on every concievable level.
Serious Sam (XBOX/PC)
A fast action FPS that hurls swaths of enemies at an unrelenting pace. XBOX version has both SS and SS:The Second Encounter, a total of 36 levels of carnage.
Samurai Warriours (XBOX/PS2)
A fast action, intense hack n slash where the mission objectives actually matter! Perhaps the first Warriors title that does not have slowdown! Despite only 15 characters, it's still a deviously fun game.

Xeoland's God: Indeed, Perfect Dark is EASILY above Goldeneye in my book, and PD still remains as probably the best "multiplayer" console FPS I've ever played.

Tamarin: SMB2, yeah defininently. I thought that was a fine game. I look at it this way, sure the game was "goofy" ... but it was all a "dream".

TaiAnthros: Indeed Ico was pretty impressive, and the style / art of the game was incredible. I can't wait for the 2nd game. (Not a direct sequel, but still kind of a semi-sequel thing)

Gradius V hands down, as sweet as the game is, sadly shmups are dying out here in the U.S.. I reserved my copy thinking if I didn't it would sell out quick (and a free bonus DVD too which EB never got, the bastards), but sadly I was the only preorder for this shooter. Many people are missing out on this great title, because in todays FPS,RPG, and action gaming world, the twitch finger is slowly being replaced by mind numingly slower paced gameplay.

This is exactly why I like old school games, they can actually increase hand-eye coordination, and make you sharper in mind.

Increasing hand eye coordnation ... Battletoads hovercraft levels anyone? Yikes.

I can't believe I forgot these games ...

Final Fantasy II: Awesome game, I love the magic system unlike many. It gives you the player a lot of freedom and flexibility over your characters, and musics pretty good.

Zelda II: Get's way too much bashing. Yes, it's different, but looking at it and NOT comparing in to other Zelda games, it's an incredible game. Hard and challenging, has great music, and well, it's just awesome.

Adventures of Lolo: Man these games were so fun, but I never see anyone talk about them.

Although I haven't played this game in years, and my judgement of it may change if I were to play it again...

Buck Bumble. It was a blast. During the N64 days of course, I thoguht it was pretty cool. Going around has a bee in shades and with many different weapons fighting flower turrets, other bugs and such, all in a neat world. The backyard, the woods and all that.
