Operation Grim Sky is gearing up to become one of the most impactful upgrades Rainbow Six Siege has seen in a long moment. While the two new Rainbow Six Siege Credits , Clash and Maverick, help address some of the game's balance issues, it's the rest of the update that will bring much more widespread and crucial fixes to the match. Bearing that in mind, Ubisoft has released its own patch notes for the update, detailing what's fresh, and also the layout reasoning behind the changes.

It's important to understand that not all of these changes will inevitably be included in the game from the moment Grim Sky launches. Many will be analyzed (some through the Tactical Test Server, a few internally at Ubisoft ) and introduced slowly over several patches during Grim Sky's duration. Most seasons continue between three and two weeks, so think about the advice below more as a roadmap and not as conventional'patch notes'.

Ranked Play on PC will require players to have empowered authentication. Ubisoft has confirmed this will come into Grim Sky per month into effect, of notifying players of the incoming shift following a span. This is, presumably, an attempt to cut down 'smurfing', or experienced players making new accounts to worse and troll, boost newcomers to higher positions. On the other hand, players who have it triggered, or already activate two-factor authentication, will receive an exclusive bundle for Thermite.

Another significant change are the fixes for the Information at twitter sight misalignment that is longstanding. Previously, while the first bullet fired -- especially against fully-automatic weapons - would always hit where a weapon sight's reticule was set, any shot then would be ever-so-slightly off. This causes major problems in a match like Siege, where being pixel-perfect can be the difference between killing an enemy and being murdered.
