| Jesus, I was at a mini-convention this morning and one of the booths was playing the animated Super Mario Brothers show so I stopped to watch it for a while. The animation was so poor, and yet I remember liking it. Hell, I used to have some of the tapes.

| 12 years of Catholic School....I still use mine. :p Although in high school, they really didn't care. But I'm the kind of person who remembers shit after I've written it own once, so taking a crap ton of notes in class was my thing. Hardly ever had to study after and always aced everything. Needless to say, switching between printing and cursive helped with my sanity.
Speaking OF school... Remember when Friday and Saturday nights meant EVERYone was on here posting all night because we didn't have to go to school the next day?  (although I admit I'm not exactly disappointed that we all have things to do now. :p ) |

| Honestly, it trips me out to see massive blocks of text written in cursive. I was at a museum reading this confession letter written by a guy in the '20s who kidnapped a little girl for ransom and then killed and dismembered her body. It's six pages or so in cursive with him calmly talking about his motives for doing all of it.
Anyway.. remember when you got excited about a project and thought about all the cool things you were going to do with it, but then just put it all off 'til the last minute and turned in something half-assed anyway? (Last edited by Rogue on 04-24-14 12:16 AM) |

I've actually been looking up a lot of things that I hated being forced to read (which I didn't end up reading anyway and just BS'd my way through assignments on), and realizing a lot of it was great stuff I should have actually put in the time to read when I had the chance. Then again, I don't think I would have appreciated it to such a degree I do now. Now I just wish I'd saved my honors English book report lists. Oh man, book reports! I totally want to do them now. |
