I'm sure everyone's heard about it by now, but Jim Carrey's been denouncing his part in the latest Kick-Ass film due to the amount of violence in light of the Sandy Hook shooting.

If so, good catch. He didn't wear armor in either book, at least any that was visible on the Kick-Ass costume.

Just going off the trailers, I'm already liking the movie version better (same with the first).

Yeah, in some of the scenes he's wearing black plates, which look straight out of Big Daddy.
