| Home on a Friday night, waiting for a friend who performs at the renaissance faire to come by to pick up a lampshade to wear on his head tomorrow for Silly Hat Day.
A lot of the shit I've been doing lately has been labeled "Official Picnic Business." I'm planning on crashing a space tech convention next week. When my friend gets here for the picnic next weekend, I plan on taking her to watch the annual fish orgies. Yep. This is my life. |

| I had to room with this girl (who is the adopted daughter of Brandon's dad's stepdad, in whose home we were staying in Ridgecrest) who had a mullet that was comprised of a bowl cut and a rat tail. That's the trifecta of bad haircuts.
I'd be worried if she somehow made it down to Echo Park or Silverlake. The hipsters would see that and be green with envy for achieving the ultimate ironic haircut and make this thing popular throughout L.A. and eventually spreading to Portland, Seattle, and then the WOOOOOOOOORLD. |

| I know that feeling. It's why I became a master procastinator.
Then again I have no drive to do anything at all any more. I should really get a job; not like it's easy to get one these days as it is. Not like being an extra really pays. In the meantime, still keeping my one-new-thing-a-day New Year's resolution. It's the only project I've got going. |

| It's definitely a project anyone could do. Even if you don't have the cash to go anywhere or eat anything new, there's always looking up new things to learn online. So many of my "new things" are the fact that I finished a graphic novel.
Posting pictures on Facebook has managed to hold me to it longer than previous years when I just wrote them in a journal (but then I'd lose my Book of Days or forget to write in it for a while). ... I don't remember what else I was here to post. ... I feel old. |
