I'm so fucking tired right now. It's 9:30 at night. I just got out of a class, which before that I was sitting in the library for three hours writing a paper for (which I'm sure is going to flop grade-wise), and right before that I was in class for three hours, and BEFORE that I was up at 6 this morning writing a paper for the first class of the day.

Which I guess is all my own fault since Brandon wanted to go watch this Black Sabbath tribute band his friends are in play at the House of Blues and I went with last night.

You know, and then there was the Rocky Horror convention this past weekend. Got to enjoy this view of Barry Bostwick's ass: Link

I've got so much work to do. I still have to transcribe a couple interviews and put together the story. Turn it in for features and then hand it over to the paper to print.

But ... I got ALL THREE STEAMPUNK CREATORS. Well, the third one was in e-mail since he's moving from Vegas to San Francisco, but goddamn am I ever proud of this since he hates talking to media or even being contacted.

Need to finish "Maus" and write a paper for it for tomorrow's class. And then... then, Stitch and I will run away to San Diego for no reason at all. Well, we're getting pizza. Yeah. That's all.

I wanna go home and encase myself in my bed now.

I had to pull off those double shifts for paying off the final payment on my car. Not to mention buy a new starter, oil / fuel filter. And having rent payments (I paid extra because I love my grammy) it has not been easy building parts for this comp.

The good news is that I have the power supply installed. But I should have waited a little bit. The mobo I was gonna buy had a $30 off deal.

For school I have my final papers sent in and I passed with flying colors. So for now I am fucking DONE with classes for a while (Until I go into Columbus State). So I am taking this time to seriously getting my computer on. I'll have money to toss around too for all of those women wanting in on this cock. (Not really)

I am also starting to get back into reading. I am reading fictional Fallout / Warhammer / Diablo / Merlin books. I purchased a shitload of books that I can't really list off of the top of my head. But I am gonna post it on my Blog

Speaking of Blogging; I have not really updated that in months. I promised myself that I would give an update a week and yet I almost abandoned it. I really need to work on that more.

Work; has been work as usual. There are times I hate it and there are times I love it. Nothing new.

Freemasonry I am still doing the same in. Meh. Nothing new there either.

I've got way too much shit to do. I ended up driving the 30 miles roadtrip to school, went to one class, skipped another, drove home, wrote a 5-page paper for another class, then drove back to school to turn it in and work with my group on our project. Ended up calling someone on their bullshit (one of the group members hadn't been showing up and tried to claim being an editor on the school's paper was really bogging her down and she had to work those nights. I know for a fact that the section she's an ASSISTANT ed on doesn't have her working Wednesday nights).

So much shit to do.

Saturday I have to take my writing proficiency test. It's a university exit exam where I pretty much have to prove that I can write. Guh...

Good grief, and I've got a couple stories due on Monday.

Just got through evaluation week at school. one C, two B's, two B+'s, and two A's. And the C is tentative. I would have gotten an A on the last assignment save for some simple mistakes in that class, and if I show him the re-done assignment on Monday, it'll be a B for that class.

I fully intend on bringing everything up. 7 classes though. I'm ready to tear my hair out. Been working 40 hours the past few weeks as well. And I'm just plain tired.

And I haven't forgotten about you, Elara! If you read this. I've been working a little bit every day. Just most days lately, outside of school and work, it's been a pencil stroke or two, then I'm passing out. XD But it's still loads of fun.

Then after that, it's on to side projects. And more work. Cuz I need money. I also need a new laptop, the adobe suite, final cut studio, a digital camera and a badass camcorder. Gonna try to save up for all of that within the next year (mostlikely more. XD)

I finally wrote that story on the creators of steampunk. You can find it quoted here: http://www.geekarmada.com/2010/11/10/meeting-the-fathers-of-steampunk/

The Daily Titan article is here.

Covering a convention this weekend for my friends' blog. It's Pacific Media Expo.

And it's my dad's birthday today, Stitch's birthday tomorrow, and I'm sick.

So much homework to finish before we get fall break the week after next. Then I'll be in Arizona.

Yesterday was actually pretty productive.

Got three assignments done, got started on seeking out internships, got two professors to say that they would write letters of recommendation for me, and met someone who does internships for the university's alumni magazine.

Getting started on cover letters, resumes, and making up a list of achievements for two two profs doing letters of rec for me.

Then I've got two major assignments due this week. One tomorrow, the other due the day after tomorrow. Too much work.

I'm kind of impressed with my luck.

A little over two weeks ago I was in tears worried about my internship and how I need to do one next semester to graduate on time. Over the course of that week, I shot e-mails to editors all over the place and had friends on the inside at a few papers, but wasn't getting many response back quickly.

Then this woman came into my features class to talk about her magazine and casually mentioned that she does internships that count for academic credit. I grabbed one of her business cards, she interviewed me that Friday and offered me the internship.

Cool.

Now I just need to finish the two papers that are due today. *Resumes banging head against the wall*

I hear you.

Then again, while studying for the final I then went and sat at my dad's computer waiting for the new Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides trailer to be available.

Fuck yeah!

I pretty much did no studying whatsoever after watching the trailer, but then again I've actually been going to class this half of the semester. When I got the test, it didn't seem too difficult.

I don't want to get cocky, though. Seems like fate keeps kicking me in the non-existent junk whenever I'm sure I nailed something.

I think we may have volunteered to go to Vegas on Monday.

My grandmother's been moping around the house all of yesterday because she just heard that he sister's husband has passed away and there's no way should could get to the funeral.

My mom, in turn, is somewhat dismayed because the funeral is being held Monday, when both she and my father have to work.

Since I just turned in my last final of the semester, I sort of said, "Hey, we could take her." It's probably going to be just a drive there and drive back sort of trip, but I love stopping at the little things along the way. On average, it's a 4-hour drive.

I'm finally taking classes at college.

A semester late, but that was expected because of the financial issues. I've really been working my ass off to pay for this, and I succeeded. I'm kind of proud of myself, in a way. I really goofed off during high school, and I'm glad I'm getting my feet under me.

With college, however, come the loss of a job. Because of homework and, well, just time issues, I would never be able to work at The Pretzel Factory and deliver the local newspaper. I've decided to drop the paper job, hoping that I can get a raise at the Pretzel Factory (I can finally twist 20 pretzels in a minute. Haha).

Otherwise, everything has been...awesome. I recently bought my girlfriend a promise ring for her birthday, which put a dent in my bank account, but she's worth it every step of the way.

Gosh, I feel like everything is finally going smoothly.

Congratulations, Phoenix, on both the lady-friend and college fronts.

Who cares if you started a semester late? The important thing is you STARTED.

Thanks, Rogue

Yeah, I feel pretty good about starting. Social Work is something that I just realized I would like to do, but it feels right. I would like to work in a school environment, which means I need some Education classes, as well. But who cares? I'm goddamn excited!

OH--FUCKING--KAY, THEN!

All of my classes are in the morning, though. And at Lower Bucks. So I think this means we should hang out, regardless.
