Welcome one and all to this week's interviews! I'm your host with the most: Bitmap
Bitmap holds the mic to his mouth "Is...is this thing on"? He stammers a bit as he grabs his collar and immediately straightens his pose in front of this post. "For this week we are starting things off with a bang! Today I will be interviewing an active member of the forums whom is about to leave the forums for awhile! But don't let that bring you down!" Bitmap wipes a bit of sweat from his brow as he once again grunts a little. "Forgive me if I am a little nervous, but let's pretend that I am excited!" "Vulkar! Come down from the audience and let's get this party started"! (OOT: I suck. But I don't have a lot of time to plan this interview. So for now. I am just gonna wing it and make it last as long as I can. Please hold all questions for Vulkar until I open the mic to everyone) (Last edited by Bitmap on 10-11-10 05:28 PM) |

Vulkar didn't come down. He never descended, and he was high enough in the plane of existance that he could go no higher.
With a puff of smoke, and no vertical movement, Vulkar appeared on the stage, bowing magnificently. "Hey," he said. "Glad to be here, but you all should know, Phoenix is about get violent. He informed me earlier today that I was absolutely not allowed to leave, and when I do, I fear I may have to hire a bodyguard." |

We'll get right on that bodyguard. But for now. Tell us a little bit about yourself! Your posting career here on Xeogaming, your personal life if you feel the wish to share that with us, and what keeps you coming back for more!

Posting carreer:
Well, I've described my posting career many times in the past couple years, but let's go again, this time in poetry form! (Note, I'm ignoring rhythm.) I was but a wee lad When simbattling was a great fad. So to the Google I went. This website it lent. So to Mount Xeo I came... Where Sparda was every man's bane. My character did he maim and it caused me much pain. And so time passed... And I posted still... Until Xeo had me staffed... And I took a chill pill. Much drama did I see Many thread were locked Until members let it be... And then the world rocked. I'm tired of poetry. As for real life, I just finished my freshman year of college in North Carolina, majoring in Psychology, which I plan to get a PhD in, eventually becoming a therapist. Beyond that, there isn't really much you all don't know. I have friends, I've been working a lot, and I'll be living in California away from family and friends for the next two years. |

Tell me about your person interest. Movies, games, boardgames, TV shows, etc. I am sure the community wants to hear them all!
Reason being is because this is of course a general community. Also, How do you feel about Xeogaming today? Do you feel when you come back that the site will still stand? Not saying that it wont; how do you feel the community will grow while you are gone? |

Vulkar paused for a moment...Bitmap's post seemed as though written by a japanese translator. (jk, jk)
"Well, when it comes to video games, the thing that grabs me most when looking at a game is the story. Red Dead Redemption, in particular, I was only interested in because the story seemed very compelling, and the voice acting perfectly done. If it weren't for that, I probably wouldn't have even taken a look at it. So on my list of favorites, you could probably put Mass Effect, Red Dead Redemption, of course, or the Assassin's Creed games. Oh, and as my layout suggests, I'm a huge fan of the Knights of the Old Republic games, especially after having played the Restored Content Mod for KOTOR2 "As for movies, as you all know that I'm a huge Star Wars fan. I've gone on a full Star Wars marathon three times by now, and have seen the films over fifty times. If you ever gave me a quote, I could probably tell you exactly when in the movie it happenned, who said it, and what was going on at the time. "As for TV shows, I've seen several. Lost always stood out for me, and Heroes was good for a time, but the overall standout for me would be Supernatural, a show about two brothers who hunt monsters/ghosts/demons/etc. While the first couple seasons were a bit slow, as soon as the overarching story picked up in Season 3, I really came to love this show. The stories are great, the characters are awesome, and the writing is phenomenal." Vulkar paused again, trying to remember the second question... "Oh yes, how do I feel about Xeogaming, and will it still stand when I return. "Xeogaming has really always had its ups and downs. Usually then activity spikes during the summer, slows down in the fall, and really only gets around five posts a day during the winter. "So yes, I'd be shocked if it changes. The core members will still be around, Xeo, Rogue, Elara, Katana, Cairoi, True Flight, etc. People will change, and the board may evolve, but I only see things going up from where we are, with the revival of Simbattling, and Project BOSS coming by the end of the year." |

Everyone, I would like to apologize on not being able to do these interviews in the same view as I had planned. There have been nights where I have been drinking (Tonight was one of them) and quite frankly it got in the way of the interviews.
Reason why I am apologizing is for starters Vulkar is one valuable member of the community. And this thread should have really exploded. But I misfired and basically blew my chances on this. Not to sound down. But maybe I am not fit for the interviews. If anyone wants to take the helm in interviewing other members in the future. Please do so. My only request is unstickying this thread and putting it where the mods feel redeemable. (Last edited by Bitmap on 10-19-10 04:38 AM) |

Originally posted by Seijika Yeah, dude. You're fine. You've done these before without problems, so I have no reason to say that you shouldn't do them. If you really want to give up the spot, I'll take over after I get interviewed. Lol. But seriously, you're fine, man. |
