At least for those of us in the Northern Hemisphere, that hot and often rather boring (if you spend it vegging) season is coming up.

What are your plans outside of work and maybe summer school? Any vacation plans? Studying abroad? Anything?

Since I took my last final a couple days ago and I'm nervously waiting on the results, I've spent a good portion of every day at the (thankfully well air-conditioned) library, reading graphic novels. It's mostly to pass time, but also serving as something of a study period for con season.

The only semi-big plan I've got this summer is Comic-Con -- as it's been for the past 6 or so summers. Seriously, Comic-Con's become the one thing I look forward to with such passion every year. It's my sanity in the form of 5 days of geeky chaos.

Not sure if I want to volunteer for Anime Expo or not yet.

Otherwise, I'll probably just be spending time trying to transfer into my university of choice (that is if the final went over all right *keeps fingers crossed*) and roadie-ing Brandon's shows. He's performing in Metal Jam with a bunch of different metal performers from around Southern California next month for the Autism Speaks charity.

Well my summer plans originally involved going to see Vulkar for a couple of weeks, but that idea dried up after not being able to save up any money.

So now my summer plans just involve lounging around... Or maybe trying to get a part time job.

I'm not sure what my summer plan is? Last summer, I ended up quitting my solicit job.

I guess I need to find better work for me.

I've really only got two things planned for the summer. First off, I plan on doing work on my Eagle Project(delivering ten computers to vietnamese immigrants, and teaching them how to use it.), which should hopefully take a couple weeks.

Otherwise, I've just got a three day youth conference which most of my friends and I are going to.

Oh, and I WOULD have had Ryan coming over to see me, but he's...not exactly great at saving money, and is nearly as bad as me at finding a job.

Yay Comic-Con season. I can't wait for the pictures, Rogue.

My plans include...working. I'm hoping to get my promised 40 hours soon. If not, I'm getting a second job. Otherwise, my sister is moving in next door, so I'll be spending time with my nephew again. He and I were like uber close and kinda grew apart due to lack of living together. He's gotten so big and is really cool. I'm so proud of him.

I have until June to perfect my portfolio to the best of my ability to see what's going on with this art school. Then by June 9th, I'll know my fate for this September. Then I'll just spend the rest of the summer working, and doing whatever I can at the moment with my free time.

No Seriously, this is gonna be the best summer. Ever.

That, and I have to work. So I will be making money at an easy job, and Snaking it up while I am at home. Cant wait.

MGS4!!!! I TOTALLY forgot about that. Yay having several days off from work! Teehee.

I didn't get into the MGS series, to be honest, until now. But a while ago, Xeios and Cairoi were playing it in front of me, and it looked alright. MGS4 is just one of those things that I now HAVE to play, since I'm like the only PS3 fan at my work and the customers feel the need to assume I'm the PS3 Guru. :p

I own the system. I don't have time to play 56470367 games on it! Sheesh! Teehee.

Do you have to play it because it looks good? Plays good? Or because of the storyline?

I am mainly hooked on all three, storyline mainly. I mean C'mon, who in the hell are the Patriots?

Anyways, I am HOPING Wipeout HD comes out soon on the PSN, I am currently hooked on Super Stardust HD, which is a mindblowingly addicting shooter.

(And seen how I finally upgraded my HD on the PS3, I am gonna try and collect some of the PSN games they got available. Echochrome will prolly be my next purchase)

Oh yea, and I plan on Going to Six Flags alot this summer.

It feels like it's already summer here... 110+ degrees (F), no old people (tourists, aka Snowbirds).... and no horrible traffic. ^-^

I'll be working my ass off, hopefully going through a 6 week chemistry class... the class was full before it was my turn to register, so hopefully someone doesn't show up for the class and I can take their spot... ^-^;;

Other than work and school, I'll be going to Las Vegas in July because I'll finally be 21!!! w00t!!! Then in August I'll be going to St. Louis, Missouri for my little brothers boot camp graduation! It's gonna be a busy summer.... and also, naturally, I'll be going to Disneyland! <3

Heh, I didn't even get around to posting a quarter of the pictures I took at last year's.

Here's what made it to LiveJournal: http://merry-rogue.livejournal.com/147808.html

The rest are slowly disappearing off my Flickr account (since they only let you have 200 pics at a time): http://flickr.com/photos/merryrogue/page10/

Also forgot to mention hitting up Koroneburg sometime in the next month. It's a smaller Renaissance faire than the SoCal Renfaire, but it's still really fun and most things there are cheaper.

Belial: Ah, snowbirds how I hate 'em.

Although this is probably going to sound hypocritical coming from someone who's native to Los Angeles County (where we definitely get our share of tourists), it seems like every time I'm in Arizona (where the boyfriend-person's family lives and I almost call my second home with how often we're over there), we gotta put up with a lot of bullshit from snowbirds. Especially the ones heading for Sedona to sip wine and look at the rock formations.

Kinda funny that they come to Arizona in the winter when it's near freezing most of that time of year anyway.
