Currently, I have four stories currently in writing, three short stories and one long, chaptered story. The most important reason I've posted this is to see if anyone would actually read any of them, but I also need some help with plot ideas, especially for Rise of Meta because I had terrible writer's block with it. I also need suggestions on which story I should focus most of my attention on. With four stories on the go at the same time, I get muddled up with all my ideas, and I need to know which one people are more likely to read.

At the bottom are links to my hosted stories. I believe I've posted all three of them here already though, but ah well...

Short Stories

The Rise of Meta - The sequel to another short story I wrote (The Rescue - Link at the bottom of this post). It follows the events that occur six months after Jack Brocklehurst was taken in for experimentation. The part I'm stuck with this is how I can have Jack escape his heavily guarded cell without making Alex Daniels or the Space Marines look stupid or careless?

Disappearance of Jennifer - A short story involving Sanigen Voran, Jennifer Voran, Lena Angel and Taylt Gauntern. While playing together, Jenny is bitten by a bug which at first seems to do nothing. During the night, Jenny collapses while getting a drink of water. Sanigen finds her slumped on the floor and gets her upstairs into her bed. While calling for an ambulance and her friends, he hears a noise upstairs and when he goes to check it out, Jenny has disappeared. Thus begins the story of how Sanigen, Lena and Taylt rescued her. This one I started to get a little bored of writing, however it's been a while since my last update on it so I should have a few more ideas.

An unnamed story - I story I have yet to think of a name for. It's a semi-short story about Lena Angel and one of her adventures in Sfihna, a land of magic and monsters. She has been given the task of infiltrating part of a forest in the dangerous wilderness to retrieve a crystal which allows the possessor to control any being that was born within the confines of the wilderness. She must race to find the crystal before a being of great power and evil finds it first. Lena also finds out about a dark side of Amy, her guardian angel.

Long Story

Mega Battle: Transmission Ended - My first attempt at a story with many main characters and a lengthened storyline. A television program that is broadcast from outside our universe (Therefore bypassing many laws) is abducting people of great power or skill from all over time and pitting them against each other in large battles. Unknown to the public audience, the losers of the show have no choice in participation and, unlike what the viewers are told every episode, the dead contestants stay dead forever. The latest batch of contestants are deemed by advertisements to be the idea behind the greatest battle of all time. However, one contestant (Alex Daniels) knows a lot more about the truth behind this show and is using this priceless opportunity to stop the production of this show, with the help of the other nine contestants of course. (Except for a couple of rebellious ones)

In a nutshell, this story is a crossover of the Space Marine storyline (Alex Daniels, Teundusia, Erumi, Delumi, Jack Brocklehurst etc.) and the Sanigen storyline (Sanigen, Jenny, Taylt and Lena), with a few extra characters thrown in to finish the 10 person group of contestants.

Main characters:
Alex Daniels - The Space Marine's greatest warrior. He works as frontline heavy infantry and as a new weapons tester and, unlike other equipment testers, uses this experimental weaponry during battles and wars.
Teundusia - An experiment created by the Space Marines. Originally meant to be a weapon for sole use by the Space Marines, she is now recognized as an equal member of society... Well, as equal as queen of the entire Erumi planet can get.
Sanigen Voran - A 14 year old boy with the power to use Hikermi Magic, and ancient form of energy control. He was born as 'the chosen one', making it impossible for him to die (mostly anyway) and the ability to use Hikermi Magic from birth.
Sanigen Voran (Older form) - Unlike his friends and family, he is still alive at the age of 144, and still looks the age of 14. He has been broken down mentally by the deaths of his friends and eventually became a well known, unstoppable psychopath, and his secret Hikermi abilities are now very openly known. Very short temper and will attack anyone who annoys him without mercy.
Taylt Gauntern - An unintelligent 12 year old with the ability to generate objects with mere thought, thanks to the VR Gauntlets his father, David Gauntern, created. Simply a test subject for a very powerful weapon, but a perfect candidate for a contestant.
Imor Erban Sakulm - A very peaceful man who lives deep in the huge Sandstone Valley. Despite his peaceful nature, he has extensive knowledge of weapons, and has used them very effectively in battles with powerful creatures like dragons. He also has an unexplained incredible acrobatic ability.
Darksage - A practitioner of dark magic pretty much explains Darksage.
Sophie (The original Sophie, the one that Sophie in the RP of Doom is based off) - A young Kuiu-Kwa dragon with the ability to transform from her regular dragon form to a perfect replica of a 17 year old human female.
Matt - Sophie's greatest friend and cell-mate. Same ability as Sophie, but turns into a 17 year old male.
Ryan Waters - A homeless boy, gifted with powerful psychic abilities, who commits a lot of petty crimes like theft of food.

Minor characters (Small appearances of major people from either storyline):
Jennifer Voran (Present during Taylt's abduction)
Lena Angel (Present during Taylt's abduction)
Space Marine General Grant (Present during Alex's abduction)

I hope I didn't spoil too much from some of those explanations, and please, tell me what you think from what I've said about them. I'd love to hear your ideas of things I could put in the stories, or your opinions on my writing style. So far I've had only good comments, despite the fact I don't read many books at all so don't have much idea what people like in a writer's writing style.

Links to my complete/hosted stories:
The Rescue - Completed. This story got me a B in my English creative writing assignment, and one of the two reasons I got a B overall in English language. ^^
Mega Battle: Transmission Ended - Incomplete, up to chapter five. Haven't updated in a long while though.
Profile of Teundusia - Incomplete, but the part you need to see for my story-writing is. Look at her physical description and character history for an example of my writing style.

Suggestion for the Rise of Meta: Catastrophe. A terrible beast or natural disaster destroys the lab.

Terrible beast: Implies the research area (Or any part of the HQ for that matter) is not heavily defended against alien armies.

Natural disaster: There's almost never a natural disaster, and if there was one powerful enough to cause damage to the specifically design structure of the building, it would take down the entire headquarters. I could try that idea in my head, but it would leave absolutely no defense against Jack after it, and then I'd have trouble of finding a way of allowing the protagonists to beat him.

Well, you can be defended against alien attacks but still not ready for what could occur. Think of the Flood from Halo 2. How does an entire army defend against a parasite? Or if a gigantic beast were rip into the side of the base, maybe they could not have expected its resistance to their weaponry.

Another likely option is a resistance force or a coup that descends the base into chaos, and in it, he escapes.

I think the coup might be a good option.

Also, if you go with natural disaster... it could have knocked out the power and thus unlocked his cell or something like that. It is a lot easier to escape in darkness.
